I have already experienced this, with my xiaomi.eu MIUI 9 ROM. I flash google cam mod on my device and yes, primary MIUI camera stop working. I just updated the MIUI 9 ROM with OTA feature and it's working. But....google camera is gone. We have to find the correct way to installed it to our device. Hopefully it will help you.
I've ran into a very big problem. I was just flashing ROM's on my phone and GCam just completely stopped working on all AOSP based ROMs. These APK's work very well on the stock MIUI ROM as well as xiaomi.eu ROMS. They just don't work with AOSP based ROMs. The only one's working with the AOSP ROM's are the one's which come pre-installed sometimes like Lineage stock camera or snap cam. Even ANX Camera works fine. Only GCam does not. Please help me out guys. I even tried flashing the stock rom via mi flash tools wiping everything but not locking the bootloader. But doesn't work.

So I've been playing around with custom roms for a 1.5 year. I think I have enough experience and now I'm starting to get interested in mods and ports
Idk much about that and I just want to start asking how do I install the Xiaomi stock camera app in my Redmi Note 10 Pro with a custom ROM installed on it.
Also if anyone can explain me what does been "ported" mean thanks

May a ROM developer can help you.
But it's really difficult to get MIUI cam working in non MIUI Roms.....

Ported/Porting/Ports means a specific software that only works on selected devices and giving it support to work for other devices.
In the case of your question, Xiaomi Cam, or MIUI Cam, is the default camera application for Xiaomi devices tunes by Xiaomi themselves and only works for Xiaomi devices, with specific features for each devices.
ANX Camera is the port of MIUI Camera that works for Custom ROM and some non-miui based OS. ANX is a Magisk Module too meaning you'll have to root your phone to install systemlessly. Link to the download:

I recommend you to use v204 even though it's an alpha release to get the closest camera quality similar to stock. If that doesn't work, try the stable release which are 190R or 185R.
Is there any way to get working Camera app from MIUI in PE on Redmi Note 10s? I'm very pleased by this ROM but this model have 4 camera modules on back, and on PE only one is used. I tryied installing Magisk module but it's not working for me. GCAM is very laggy and often crashes, but gave me working 3 camera modules.
So, is there any way to get orginal MIUI Camera app from stock rom?

Probably not. My supposition is that the camera module is probably not compatible with Redmi Note 10S which is mentioned in the module aswell. You're out of luck
