Hi!
I studied Radio Television Production back in 1988-89 and done considerable amount of freelance video/photography work for various clients and operated a small business servicing audio-visual hardware. I continued to do this ocassionally after I was hired by AT&T Wireless as a technical support agent in 1998-99.
Then I decided to worked for Microsoft & Hewlett Packard from 2000 to 2009 before becoming a technical support agent for Research In Motion (RIM), later known as BlackBerry ltd. After BlackBerry exited the smart phone market, I focused on tweaking/creating custom builds of Linux, Windows Vista & 7 for various clients. Currently, I am in the process of learning aspects of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking of various operating systems and networks alike.
I hope to learn more on this forum as well as share knowledge that I acquired of the years.

Name: Who's Near Me
Who's Near Me is a social network that uses your current location to connect you with other people located near you and allows you to connect with them anonymously for friendship, romance, networking, or just chatting. You can freely send anonymous text and picture messages with other users - all without ever having to reveal your phone number.
This application is also available on the Windows Mobile platform and users of both platforms are able to communicate with each other. (see this XDA news article regarding the Windows Mobile application)
The application has been available in the Marketplace since last year and has had over 90,000 unique users log-in since then. We recently published a major update to the Windows Phone 7 application and we would love to have some XDA readers take a look and give their feedback. We think that the application is fairly stable at this point and would love assistance making it 100% user friendly, bug-free, and enjoyable to use. We also welcome any new feature suggestions or marketing tips.

Hey guys,
I am from the formula SAE team at University of California, Merced. SAE is the Society of Automotive Engineers and we are participating in the Formula competition where we design/build/test/race/present our car against other schools the automotive industry representatives. Schools such as MIT, UC Berkley, Purdue, schools from Japan and China will be there too.
We need help from someone who has a PAC, water jet, laser jet, or something similar. This is the shape we need cut:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
There are 6 shapes total. Smallest is about 1.5" x 1", largest is about 3" x 2". They are all cut from 1/8" 4130 steel.
I will include CAD drawings of course and we will pay you a reasonable price, but this is our first year starting the club and competing so money is tight honestly it is hard to get support because we are so new. But our progress is comparable to several years of work from schools such as UC Berkley ad UC Davis.
Please email me at [email protected] if you can or know someone who can help us, thanks!
[THEME PORT?] actface - PLAY/RHYTHM (concept from japanese "au design award")
Hey guys ,
years ago i was following some trend which came up in japan about concept phones.
concept phones which could win a prize and was publishes by the japanese mobile phone operator "au by KDDI".
this was named "au design award" ,,maybe you know some of the newer iida,infobar models!
around 2007 some designers from TeamLab (
) told us about a new concept named "actface" which joined the
design contest with 2 models.
2 models which was equipped with 3 displays(whatever the usage of this was ) and really unseen theme design until this time.
to dont miss the point, how about creating one of theese themes for our loved android phones from the scratch?
even both themes are really beautyful , i think the actface PLAY theme have the biggest chance to become real (maybe with its interaction behavior which is shown in the video?)
what do u think ? if there are some skilled guys who are interested in this , i bet there are alot of people who are willing to help (me includet)!:laugh:
here some videos and images :

Hi,
I'm a new subscriber here. But I already followed your forum to test my first android root>lineage with an old xperia ray and it works now without any gapps (an emergency phone when one breaks for instance).
I don't have windows (I quit in 2004 to linux and now an old good unibody macbook pro for everyday and linux for "noobgeeking".
I'm used to use iphone but I'm looking for quiting since I'm bored of a centralized system. I don't usually like android because of gapps and tracking but I discovered - thanks to you- a way to be "independent". Vollaphone and it's multiboot vollaos/ubuntutouch is sexy to me: I'm going to buy one, I think so.
-_> My purpose is, these days (I posted yesterday about that), to root and to install lineage 19 in a Lenovo x606f: I asked a lot of questions because everything is not clear.
Read you soon !
and thanks to your forum!
Welcome to XDA and enjoy the forums information!
