I'm a big fan of one ui
But my both galaxy note 9 devices haveing same flickering yellow tint brightness issue.
It's fixed by setting up brightness to maximum level on aosp ROM and bypassed yellow tint brightness issue and control brightness using a app called PWMfree.

It's a very different story when it's a Samsung rom they don't allow to reach maximum brightness.
But when outdoor mode enabled 100% problem solved. The main problem is outdoor mode is only able to keep it up 15 minutes. I know it's basically a protection to keep my display safe but I can't use Samsung roms because of this problem.
Can anyone give me a mod or fix or something for Samsung roms to keep on always outdoor mode enabled...
(Really important for me to fix a big issue)
I recently had a app called - high brightness mod -
Buts it's not working properly but it's the only way to use Samsung roms for me the app is not updated for a long time. It's a pretty good app but have lot of issues not working properly.
Did u find the way? If not try this

Ran a search on the forum just to make sure this hasn't been posted before, but I may have missed something... Excuse me if I did
When I'm in the camera app taking pictures/video, and am shooting some kind of dark fabric, there is a noticeable purple hue in the center of the display. Other shots (landscape, hardware shots) don't have the problem.
Below is a GIF image of my black trackpants and the burst image captured with my One.

Notice how the purple hue is constantly moving, disappearing and reappearing?
The linked image isn't the best of quality, and the in-person shots have a more noticeable discoloration, but should this be anything I should worry about?
My Moto Atrix 4G had a very similar issue, but the problem later bled into everyday shots where everything had a blue discoloration in the dead center.
Anyone else have this "problem?" It's not bothering me too much, just don't want it to come back and haunt me in a few months.
Secondly, does anyone notice that the brightness changes when you use the camera app? If you start out with minimum brightness and use switch to the camera app, your brightness increases temporarily (assuming this is by design and not some kind of odd bug on my unit).

omnirom with kitkat in our phone; battery and performance is great. i wish same things continues.
Camera app doesn't work. Brightness control is absent. Locking the device does not turn off the display (it merely causes the screen to go black, which consumes more power in TFT displays). Once these bugs are fixed, we will have a perfect ROM.
Great work though. All you kind developer's works means I can keep the same phone for two more years minimum.

Hi everyone,
So my proximity sensor works normally as it should during calls and for auto brightness cos i don't even like manually adjusting my brightness all day until last month when i updated to the "Android 6.0.1 Software version H81120x". I did this update in the night so i dint notice any change with my auto brightness until i wanted to make a call and this screen appeared

and i was like "cool, it's a new feature". Next day i noticed my auto brightness wasnt working again, after alot of toiling about looking for a fix as the proximity sensor calibration failed, i downloaded an app "Proximity sensor reset" and it worked again and that screen was gone but after some time the screen would come back and my proximity sensor wont work again. And now the proximity sensor wont work again even when i flashed a new rom, it still has the same screen and the auto brightnes still wont work. Please any workaround this as i'm supper sure that the sensor is not hardware broken. Thanks
Activating advanced features such as manual mode on Redmi 4 is tricky, don't know why xiaomi did specially for this phone.
Well I did try HZQ_miui_camera mod parda for slow motion ,but it only enabled the manual mode and nothing else. All other methods that enabled the slow motion added a greenish tint to the video and it was really worse when there is sufficent light for the shots.
-->Now the trick requires to you to have a CAMERA 2. API enabled on your device. There are lots of way to do enable it try it all of the methods does the job.
-->Reboot the device and install OPEN CAMERA from the Play store.
-->In the app tap on settings -> enable Use camera2 Api-> restart the app
-->Go to Video Mode .
-->tap on the three dots to open a panel and tap the left side of the speed to 0.25x.
-->scroll down White Balance set it to MANUAL.
-->Scene mode to NIGHT
that's it now there's now green tint how hard the light is.
Caution:.
After you enable the camera.2.api your miui camera won't work perfectly even after you disable it.
Use google camera instead for the photos and open camera for the videos.
It is just a trick , Do it at your own risk , I won't be responsible for your any form of loss.

Upgraded to Android 12 and noticed some ugly bugs with system ui.
Occasionally, during camera ring animation or landscape mode (youtube for example), the overlays for cutouts and camera ring/hole remain active.
They are not visible in the screenshots so it must be an overlay. The only way to get rid of this is if the System UI crashes and restarts or I restart the phone.
It can be days or hours between this behaviour.
Is there a way to crash/force restart system ui without rebooting the phone? What could surely trigger the crash?
This problem has been documented on zentalk - https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/57673/system-ui-stopped-working/p1
thanks!

This problem started occuring in ANdroid 12 betas. THe Zentalk beta forum has 3 or 4 threads about this bug. Actually Asus seems not wanting to fix it.
Have you disabled System UI from accessibility settings? It should fix the issue.

Was never enabled.
Fixed it for me after being a beta tester and still experiencing it until a week or so ago. A factory reset was the solution, it's a bit of a bruteforce way to do it, but hey, if it works it works right?
