I am still on Android 12. Fresh flashed using official firmware from HK. I forgot to turn off auto download over Wi-Fi. It's not my intention yet to update my firmware. Now I am bothered by the notification that can't be removed. Heck I am more bothered for the update file. Where is that location so I can manually delete it?
Tried googling about but I don't find .OTA folder in my internal memory. I also have Solid Explorer that can show hidden files.
Thanks!

The OTA update is on a partition invisible to the system and cannot be accessed.

I've had this problem with a few Android devices. Rename the file with ".bak" on the end before moving then rename it after. ie. BETA5GAPPS.zip.bak

got me a little bit father in copying, but still fails.
hello,
i tried to update my phone's system via ota and got error when applying update on recovery. i tried the same way several times with no luck either with stock or philz recovery.
is this because of my phone's oem is unlocked or rooted?
is there a way to flash the ota package manually since i have captured the update.zip package from /cache folder?
thank you.

Nevermind
XDA is a good forum. I find many useful information for Android though I never once got solution for any of my questions. In fact, I got solutions from other website for my problems. Nevertheless, thanks to XDA.
Well... I could fix it myself.

just noticed this app in the app drawer. "Installer" is version 1.0.A.0.23 and the only permission is "read the contents of your SD card"
did few things recently, in this order:
1. swapped out sims from China Unicom (China), Three (Macau), and now using Koodo (Canada)
2. updated Box and Dropbox
3. ran the most recent System Update (which was something like 10MB or 12MB?), now at 23.4.A.1.200
any info on this?
here's what the icon looks like -- anyone else have this?

Yep, It's on my screen too and I have no idea what it is. I'm using the USA variant, .200 version.
I haven't been rooted for a while (blasphemy around here, I know) and I got tired of waiting for the 7.0 update so I did the google.com/android/beta thing and now I'm running 7.0 NBD90Z. This is what I see when I try to use Root Explorer:

Before you remind me that I am not rooted -- it has still been working as a normal file manager, even though I haven't been rooted... it just hasn't allowed me access to system directories that need root access (obviously)... so I've been able to still work with my files. But now it's not even letting me do that. I have posted over on Reddit (r/Nexus6) and emailed the developer. Just throwing this out in case anyone else knows of a solution for this.
I love this app. I have been using it for years. Please help
Actually I am a colossal idiot. Mark this solved. If anyone else has this problem...

Hello guys,
After a flash, I chose to keep the data. But then there was this storage problem:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Do you know why this happened?
Every time I'm going to do something like this, will it happen?
I followed the procedure correctly through fastboot.
Thank you!
I had this when I was bootlooping. It has something to do with Android pie and how everything is encrypted.
That's why it's recommended to do clean flash.. Clear all data
I have the same issue after clean flash and after fastboot flash. I'm not able to download anything and PC (windows) can see storage but nothing happens when I try to transfer files from PC to phone
