Hello! I am currently trying my best to changing my phone to another OS, such as Pixel or Arrow etc. however I am having so much difficulty with finding a working recovery file. I have tried SHRP and OrangeFox however it says either "remote: 'size too large'" or "Status read failed (Too many links)", I also tried those recovery images from youtube tutorials or forum tutorials but I get the same result. I really do think that I should just start over from the beginning.
My phone is already unlocked, with MIUI 13.02 and Android 12.

This is me using SHRP
This is when I use OrangeFox
I did use most versions, official/unofficial, outdated/latest, but still same result. I also did the manual method of holding the power and volup key but it just keeps on rebooting until I let go and it boots up normally. It is also said the error about having too many links is caused by the usb cable, which my PC has a loose port, however it should not happen that often and that instantaneous.
Here are just some of the files that I have tried to use, some have been thrown away, if it helps..
Can someone please help me find a working recovery file, and a good custom ROM, at this point anything will do for me. I am also considering just looking for a technician to flash my phone. I have spent so much hours just for this ;-;

Hello,
I'm fed up with this Nexus One... Short story:
-flashed Evervolv's ICS (with Blackrose suggested values). Everything went ok but due to slowness I wanted to revert back to stock Gingerbread.
-flashed CWM, flashed stock HBOOT (145/95/196). Wiped all caches, user data etc.
-downloaded tons of Passion ROMS from several sites. Tried with different, freshly formatted SD cards.
I have tried to change rom's name to update.zip and flash it from recovery. Does not work (E: Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(bad) installation aborted").
Also tried to change the name to PASSIMG.zip and start on bootloader but it does not do anything when looking for passimg...
I have looked at similar issues but did not found anything... Any suggestions?

I'm struggling the last 2 days with the exact same issue :/
I've been doing these kind of stuffs the last 5 years and i understand how things suppose to work, but for some reason i got to the same point you explaining here without solving it.
Please any pro out there help us?
I was running official Cyanogenmod 13, decided to switch back to latest MIUI developer ROM, through TWRP I wiped all data (cache, dalvik, system, etc).
After that, I flashed MIUI ROM and everything seems o'k, I rebooted device and this is it... just blank black screen.
Device isn't reacting at long-pressing power-button, and it don't want go into fastboot and recovery. ADB doesn't see phone.
BUT! device reacting whe I connect it to PC, but with some weird reaction (look at image under spoiler)
also, if I trying to long-press power-button, it seems that phone is rebooting, because all this "local disk's" disappearing for 2-5 secs and then appear again.

}
ALSO! in those "local disk's" where ~50MB of space isn't free, there some files in folder "image" (look at sec image under spoiler)
PS: also I found out that phone is reacting to charging, BUT! not LED, but it become a very little warm, just like it always was when it charging

Also, MiFlash found something, but not sure that is my phone, because it's not in fastboot mode, what is it?

can't find how to delete topic, but maybe it will be helpful for someone, who will find this link
Hi all. Great forum btw. I've spent days browsing the material, yet, I've still messed up my device.
I attempted to root the S10, unlocking the bootloader etc, however, I messed up the patched image part and ended up in a boot loop. The mistake I then made when in the download area was locking the bootloader again. I know, I'm an idiot.
Despite flashing the phone with stock firmware using Odin, when the phone boots up it says it's can't apply a Managed Service because the phone has, or did have, a custom OS on it.
I've tried all sorts via ADB, Odin etc, but I'm stuck. The worst part of it is that it's a work phone, and I'm not sure how I'm going to explain myself to the IT department if I can't fix this myself - eek!
Help! Any help is really appreciated. Below are a few pics of the areas I can get to, plus the messages I get when I try and boot the phone normally.
Thanks for reading this.
(I can get to these areas fine, but despite factory resets and trying all the other options, I can't progress)

Bump
Despite i don't own this device, i can try helping:
you could try to get out of fastboot by pressing all of the hardware buttons (always works in my case) and the phone will attempt rebooting.
Not sure if this whole dm-verity disabling caused the device to go numb (i own one with dm-verity) and it gets a bit hard when i used to try and flash a different custom OS by disabling storage encryption.
Not even aware if this thing involves reflashing again the firmware, but i found a neat post that could disable dm-verity for every android device
Edit:
in case of struggle with reflashing stuff and start all from scratch, MTKClient can be of help
Hey all,
I am very inexperienced with custom OS on Android and I was trying to install a lineageOS so that I can run octoprint on my tablet for my 3d printer. In doing so, I somehow deleted the stock OS.
Now my device either flashes the samsung logo (if I boot normally) or it can get to the download screen if I hold Power + Home + Vol Down. But I can't seem to get my computer to find the device, so I can't connect it with Odin. Do you know of any guides or threads you could point me to? Or how to fix this?
My model is SM-T713.
Thank you
I downloaded the stock firmware from here - https://github.com/ivanmeler/SamFirm_Reborn/releases/tag/0.3.6.3
I am trying to use odin to reflash it to my device, but it seems the device isn't being found.

Pressing Start in Odin does nothing. Is there something I am missing?
Fixed it, kind of. It was a bad cable. Switching out the cable allowed Odin to connect, it downloaded and passed, but it is still stuck on the samsung logo.
