This is one of the best phone for its price (for the price i got it tho) but one of the only cons of this phone is the plain camera app. The camera is itself good but the camera app is not upto the mark. Its simple but not great so I tried to search for stock camera apps from other phones and try it on k10. I myself did not port any of these because i haven't rooted it yet and so porting is difficult without rooting.
1) H2O camera from One Plus:

Hdr, clear image and beauty (did not see much difference but still do not crash while using any of these)
Not working /Bugs:
Panorama (maybe because it requires gyroscope)
While capturing time lapse and slow mo the video display is weird but the final video is perfect.
Videos cannot not be opened from camera itself after capturing( camera fc) but can be opened by gallery.

i wanted camera app from honor 8 and one more thing i wanted is that touch assistant from miui i tried to install it.. but couldnt do so.. i tried to install miui assistant apk with adb pc then i got error as com.uid.system signature error..
the reason i wanted miui touch assistant is that i am using my moto g4 plus in immersive mode due to which nav bar is hidden so i wanted to navigate through my phone with miui touch assistant.. ...

Sorry for coming back to you really late as I didn't receive any reply email, (maybe I missed it or I might have it turned off). Lg phones have touch assistant too, go to the accessability tab in settings or maybe pressing home button 3 times would ask to enable touch assistant. But if you want the MIUI one, unfortunately the only ik atm requires a rooted phone, so I have to look into for a non rooted one. Meanwhile you you can use apps like easytouch from play store. Hope you already have your problem solved

what about meizu phone touch assistant ? its the best touch assistant i have ever seen.. you can use it as a joystick.. for navigation through immersive mode of android.
is it possible to port that ?

I don't think I might be able to find one as most touch assistants require root and so the only solution is to use one from play store, I still am looking into it. But anyways I found meizu camera working properly with live filters and will add it to this thread.

So you have a rooted phone? Well thank you but I don't like to be credited for what I haven't done. I have already mentioned somewhere in the thread that I myself didn't port these apps as I don't have my phone phone rooted, I came from Samsung which isn't a mess to root and recover as compared to what I researched on lg. I try them on my phone, troubleshoot em, seeing if there is any issue with the app. Try different things with the apps, look into em and stuff. But I didn't port any of em completely. But back to the topic, if you have rooted device, I guess there is a way to get the MIUI touch assistant

I have downloaded lineage os custom rom for leeco le 2 X526, everything is working fine except camera app, evertime after 1 or 2 clicks, it crashes. please help or if anybody has camera app of leeco le 2.
I am a beginner, so please help as how to install that camera app too.

1. How to remove vibration on touch, as I am typing , it vibrates, in settings I am unable to find.
2. Can't click photo by touching the finger print sensor.

However, I heard a rumor that Codeworkx is working on solving this issue for this community. He reversed engineered the Camera Hal for the Lepro 3 and Le Max communities and my Le Pro 3 now takes photos that are very close to the actual Pixel Camera.
The issue that I heard is that Codeworkx does not currently have a working S3, so if anyone in this community has an extra one and they want this issue resolved. I would suggest that you make a donation or some kind of contribution to Codeworkx to help his motivation.
If 30 people could donate $5 he can buy a new one.

This is what keeps me away from custom roms basically...
try installing miui camera app, i've seen in the magisk repository miui camera app for mi a2 and etc... give it a try and post feedback.
the next time i install a custom rom i'll try myself these options.

and it worked exactly as intended. All seems to be working including 48mp feature, even the front cam filters. Lol check this in-door night shot.

Does the 3 camera swapping work? Also is there mechanical noise when swapping between the front and back cameras on custom roms with this camera?

As stated, everything works the way it should. All camera modes are accessable and no, it doesn't make mechanical sound. I'm on PE anyway with the immensity kernel august 8 build.

Did you try video and portrait mode aswell? For me it force closes immediately when selecting portrait mode. After selecting portrait mode for the first time it force closes also when selecting video.
Did anyone try this? Whats your experience?

It can do 960fps slowmotion, unsure of 4k60fps I can only find 1080p60fps
Also trying to bump thread, after a good camera app with no force close issues is hard these days :crying:
Does anyone have a more recent experience with anx? Have the issues (force closes) been resolved? Is the quality comparable to stock on miui? Or does everyone use gcam instead?

Hey there everyone. I've installed Lineage 14 on my One and even though there's that dreaded pink tint on the camera, I want to test out Google camera on the phone if possible. Enabling Camera2API shouldn't be too hard but there's no way to know if any app works on this phone or not. If not on Android N, there are currently Pie ROMs being produced too and there's a chance some apks will work on that. Any answers appreciated.

Could someone please help me how I can change that mirror effect when I use front camera? I would like change it but I dont know how and even if its possible, even gcam mods camera have same thing and I couldnt find anything regarding change of it in the settings.
