If you're having issues with the Magisk Manager force closing/crashing/freezing at any point, clear data for the Manager or uninstall it and install it again.
After some trial and error I figured out how to get V4AFX working properly on the Note 7, so here's how:
1) Download and install Busybox for Android NDK and ViPER4Android FX using Magisk Manger.
2) Launch ViPER4Android FX and install the driver, device should reboot.
3) Download and install Audio Modification Library using Magisk Manger.
4) If your ROM already has a audio equalizer such as AudioFX, this will need to be uninstalled/disabled to stop it conflicting with V4AFX, you can use the Debloater Magisk module to do this.
5) Reboot, Launch V4AFX and turn on the Master limiter, check the driver status to verify that it's enabled and processing.
Following these steps ViPER4Android works flawlessly for me on LineageOS :good:
Thankyou hero! :good:
This work perfectly on EvolutionX 4.5 rom! I don't need to restart my phone again to use viper. Thanks mate.
Hi
I have an issue with Xposed (Samsung Galaxy S9+ SDK 29).
I have EdXposed manager, and I use module "HiddenCore Module" installed. I have it enabled for Magisk Manager "SafetyNet Check" to pass.
I pass Magisk Manager SafetyNet Check but when using SafetyNet test app I get fail. Also when I go to settings > About > Status it still says Custom instead of official.
Also when I do this, I can not open some apps like Brave browser or Chrome browser. They crash auto on startup.
So what I do is I boot into TWRP mode and wipe Cache. Wipe and reboot.
Now when I run Magisk Manager "SafetyNet Check" I fail it as well and I'm back one more step.
Would be very thankful for any help
Is there any modules for magisk present to install Dolby vision?
