I have the latest stock rom and i am interesting to try and xiaomi.eu but i have 3 questions
1. I know that with xiaomi.eu AOD can be set to always but how much battery it is draining?
2. Does xiaomi.eu has bugs that stock rom doesn't have?
3. How is the battery comparing the roms?

xiaomi eu isn't that much diffrent from a stock miui because it is just debloated and a little bit tweaked version of it. Battery usage will increse, but it's up to you if it's acceptable level. The best place to ask people about it is that roms support group on telegram or something
Try both and find one which suitbale for you
For me, MIUI stock (ID region) more worth for me but maybe other will feel not

I need a rom which doesnt lag and provides a good baterry backup and less heating. And not too many bugs also.
Thanks in advance
Literally MIUI, just debloat and flash a custom kernel yourself, if you don't want to debloat yourself then try Xiaomi.eu, I'd love if anyone can point out an AOSP ROM as stable as MIUI
Hi, guys.
I would like to change my Mi 9t pro from MIUI 11 to any custom ROM, because I'm looking for a ROM that gives me a better SOT and performance than stock MIUI 11.
What's the best stable ROM that I can find?
Ps: How can I keep the MIUI stock camera app in any custom ROM, or if it's included in some ROM (with no bugs, if it's possible), Wich ROM would you recommend me?
Thank you all.

I've been using EvoX for quite some time, have been enjoying it. It covers all the concerns that you've mentioned.

-MIUI will give you the best SOT. It has more aggressive battery optimizations.
-I can vouch for EvoX. There have been regular updates, it has the most user-friendly features, but the developer has taken a leave yesterday so the development in the next month or so maybe a little slow. Other option is Lineage.. It also has similar development.
-No rom will be as stable as MIUI. Fingerprint will be slightly slower on the roms.
-There will be minor bugs.
-For the MIUI camera, you can flash ANX Camera.
Hope i helped!
Asoip and extended ui rom are very smooth roms which i could recommend and are regularly updated. Also in Asoip rom it has the option of FP unlock with the screen off which is only in this rom i believe.
Unofficial Havoc 3.2 is the best AOSP 10 ROM I've used so far.
Install ANX Cam for stock camera experience on custom ROMs
TOP AOSP (popular): EvoX, derpfest, aosip.
TOP MIUI (popular): EU-LS, masik, miroom.

For best SOT , Miui is great.
There is a Flashable zip for stock camera in the Official Channel on Telegram.
And yes, some roms has fast fingerprint speed but some are slow as written in the comment above.
I like miui for its features, and its obviously most stable.
If you want customization with MIUI then use MIUIPro or MiGlobal Roms they have same performance with more features and customizations.

I love Evolution X Rom too but on my Redmi K20Pro, there is a Video playback issue where you play a video and it freezes for a couple of seconds frequently. Did you happen to experience this?
hi
can someone recommend an MIUI based or stock-based ROM with better battery life?
currently getting less than 1 day on normal usage which is kind of bad.
Thanks
I get roughly 2 days of normal use with MiuiMiX (Q) (flashed with twrp, Rom is based on Chinese vendor, Magisk preinstalled) - no further tweaks other than what stock has to offer. Could try different kernel settings but didn't bother as things work well and with no problems for me. Never change a running system, eh?!
Miui Eu beta is great, much much better than the global miui specially in battery life, global was draining my battery so fast i couldnt keep it all day but eu beta gives me around 2 days its de-bloated and optimized
Hi guys,
actually, I´m trying to bring my Mi9 back to life with a new battery. Since now, I´m on xiaomi.eu 12.5.6.
In order to keep my Mi9 updated, I tried to figure out, which Custom ROM I´d go for. Criteria are every day use (stability, battery lifetime, smoothness, security updates). Conclusion after reading the threads is that most official 11.0 ROMs do very well (for example crDroid, Havoc, …). Since twrp still doesn´t support encryption, I´d go for 11.0.
Another point is a good cam out of the box (using all lenses and features and compareable to stock quality). Or do I need to install gcam to reach this goal?
Thx in advance for suggestions, I know the question for „best ROM“ is pretty much too simple, but I´d like to get a starting point…
how did you get xiaomi.eu 12.5.6? I saw only chinese

Hey
As the title indicates I want to go back to MIUI for now. However, is there a "better" version that the newest 12.5.7.0? I want to be Version 11 though, not on newest one. Any older one which is the fastest and best one? Ive heard earlier versions are better. Or can you recommend a different version like the one from xiaomiEU?

I was on 12.5 and upgraded to 13. Battery very good and somehow smooth experience and stable but so slow. Like 3 GB memmory phone not 6. So, I came back to original version miui 12.0.13 and my opinion this is best version. Battery some days very bad, not always. I am still evaluating, but I will not go to any miui version. Maybe some custom rom. But I was on havoc and always on screen was flashing randomly, so I came back to miui.
edit: what put you off custom roms, please tell. And what roms exactly, so we others do not same mistakes so to speak.

thanks for the reply. I started on ArrowOS last year ago, then changed to Pixel Extended and Im on PixelOs for a few months now. However, MIUI port doesnt get me anywhere I want. Also battery life on PixelOS is a mess compared to MIUI. And their Telegram channel is garbage.(No hate on the developer)
The only reason I changed to PixelOS was the implementation of MIUI camera port and the fact the system is blazing fast.
However, Im tempted to go back to MIUI, maybe verison 12.5 since it was the best in terms of battery life.
I use Elite plus 12.0.xx from hassan mirza. Very good.
