So I'm spending lots of time away from home (USA Central Time Zone) in several time zones including Seoul, South Korea. My Galaxy S21 FE has a nice feature where the clock converts to a dual home time zone / visiting local time zone. This is really nice for knowing the time back home.
Anyone know a way to get this on the Tab S8? I don't see it in settings or in GoodLock...
My Tab S8+ is wifi only.
Thanks,
Joe

Has anyone yet found a fix for the issue of the weather not displaying for certain uk cities, I have searched the forum but no answer found
You can find the weather in the app sometimes for my city but other times you get no data found
If you successfully configure the weather app the widget never picks up the correct details. and after a couple of minutes the app itself no longer remembers the details you previously correctly configured and it displayed
sometimes you will get a temperature but no cloud images etc
Any ideas anyone
cheers
Brother is on Sprint and was wanting to add his city as well. The nearest stock city is 90 miles away.
I know how to add them on my Sprint TP2 courtesy of xda but haven't had the opportunity to discover Android just yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is option "my location" on the top of the list of cities which opens map view where you can select almost what ever location you want.
After much research
found that
To have it set to current city causes an issue when there are multiple phone masts in your area changing between masts in a close area causes the update to fail
Solution to remove all pre-configured cities, remove current location and add a permenant location for your location, I found that unless you city was top of the list it would fail as well
Trying to decide whether to move from my Fuze to an Aria and there are some loose ends I want to tie up.
Is there a way to put cities not found on the Weather app on it?
Thanks, in advance.

There doesn't appear to be; at least not without some form of configuration file hacking (and even then, I'm only guessing it's possible).
When you setup the phone, it figures out where you are, based either on GPS or WiFi. The GPS option is more exact (and I'm guessing the location moves as you move), but it also consumes more battery.
The WiFi option determines where you are, based on the location/ISP of the most recent WiFi network that you accessed. When I set it up for the first time this morning at my home in South Berwick, ME, it came up with Rollinsford, NH (a bordering town) as my location.
So you essential get one "custom" weather city that's tied to your location, and a number of preset weather cities that you can choose from to flesh out the Weather app.
The locator is "exact enough" for my tastes. YMMV.

Hello, I made some months ago ava for world wide the PhotoWeather app on windows phone 7.
My ideia was to make app for a quick view of the weather like if it was a widget since i am used to my android based widget home screen.
To fill the gaps of such a simple app, I decided to add some photos from panoramio related to the place.
My first problem was to find a good free service provider that could cover all world, and I must say it as hard to find and still I don't believe the actual solution is the most accurate.
It's very difficult to find a good weather provider with accurate info that supply that same for free.
My live tiles are also obtained via the service provider, they are very basic as they are the weather condition from the last retrieved location.
When microsoft start's supplying the weather info from bing api I guess I will switch to that service.
mean while, if anyone can help me with a good provider.? thanks
PS: Really I'm not advertising my app (since didn't followed the template). It is quite old now, and I guess it achieved the most of the downloads possible lol.
I have new apps coming out, and those I intend to advertise, if possible.
Thanks
Samsung is bringing live traffic data and other new driving-related functionality to users of some of its Galaxy devices following a deal with traffic info provider Inrix.
Due to arrive “just in time for the holidays,” the deal will see Inrix’s data power “several new apps and services” aimed at saving drivers time and frustration. In addition to providing live traffic info, the deal also means apps can more accurately represent the time of arrival. Initially, the new features will only be available on the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and Gear S smartwatch.

Yes I read that too. I am assuming (hoping) they push out Lollipop in sync with those new apps. Find it hard to imagine they would do what seems a large update to existing Kitkat when Lolloipop is obviously under development and close (I can smell it). Fingers crossed fellas.
So how will these traffic updates work? Is it going to integrate to google maps (which already has its own traffic feature). Or will they push out a Samsung Navigate?
Also which regions will get traffic updates? North America or the whole world, or just Korea?
I saw an alert today showing an accident ahead and it said alerted and verified by waze- which is a crowd sourcing app for traffic, so maybe they are integrating a number of means of keeping it updated live?
I don't have waze installed, but have tried it out before, so it wasn't polling info from my phone as I don't have it installed.

Thats a Google Maps feature, nothing to do with Samsung. Google bought waze a while back and has been integrating some of the crowdsourced data into Maps.
Interesting. I hope it works well with Google Maps which has pretty good traffic alerts now with the acquisition of Waze.

Hopefully this isn't another craptastic gimmick like the galaxy app store. I don't need another app that offers the same capabilities of google maps but performs worse
Wrong place I copied this to S21 forum...sorry for confusion
I have a Galaxy S21 Standard. I am having an issue with my weather/clock Widget. I got it years ago (and still there) it is called Weather & Clock by Interactive Sadia Arabia...on the screen you can see last update and there is a refresh button if you don't want to wait for the time you set for it to update. There is also a function that when you unlock your phone it will update. It is never updating. I was over 24 hours and it had not updated. If I click on the (Sun) and go back to the Widget it will update. I have it set to update every hour. I downloaded 1weather to see if it would work and I am getting the same issue. I read there is a way to fix this but on the Galaxy S21 does not have that feature, probably the fix was for an older model. There seems to be something on the phone blocking the function of this? I am open to suggestions, and I will let you know if I have already tried that.
BTW Clock works perfect
Thanks in Advance.
