yes,we are based on candy,but We don't make much difference now,because the Yuanwei OS is just built,the biggest difference is that we integrate the Brevet,
the Launcher is different,.
and the wallpaper as the Yuanwei OS wallpaper and so on,
the more IMPORTANT is to spend a lot of time on translation to Chinese.

Firstly, thank you kindly OP for sharing another rom for our beloved A7. I'm on A2017U and I tried this build out earlier today but I'm back on AOSP Extended so I thought I'd give some feedback. I love Candy roms but no matter what I tried with this particular build, I could not get past the lag. No offense OP, I'm just sharing my personal experience. This build has some of the worst lag I've ever experienced. I clean flashed this build and could barely get thru the setup. I tried wiping caches and rebooting to no avail. Also, this build doesn't appear to have the speaker phone fix so call audio only plays from top speaker. Other than that, I really like what I see. Unfortunately the lag prevented me from digging as deep as I normally would but very promising Rom. Keep up the good work!

The reason it's laggy is that he is using lineage kernel which is awful.. Flash a true Candy build with our kernel and you'll find the experience much improved

Since ,AICP source is not updated yet couldn't progress more with it..I'm planning to continue AOKP until then.

thanks for your work , but i think the only thing a5,a7 users need is stable aosp rom not variuos aosp rom , for example as other pie roms this rom dosnt have button options too , any way thanks

1.Gps note working properly even it note move when people move on rode
2.button light
3. In call some time audio get problem
4. Battery life is ok not that good
5. Music sound creaking
6. Whasts app , Google duo etc ,in video call camera lag to much even other people cant see us
7. Phone can't switch off some time it reboot again
8. Usb tethering not working
9. Ther is no volte
And etc
And i am telling this fro los16.1
And you all use that source

5. crackling ? It doesnt crack unless you have high Hz on ur phone and as you see there is no solution to it as i didn't design the audio module
6. im not sure about it..i tested facebook video call no lags for me

You will get 6h+ SOT ...but something is wrong with logarithm that from 100 to 60% it goes really fast..but the remaining 60% takes longer time to finish

First impression: no problems, smooth and it seems very good for battery usage.

Unfortunately I have had 2 freezes and my phone was off in the morning. So I will return to stock lineage kernel for the moment.

It runs well on lineageos 18.1 and crdrioid 7.7.
The touch response is very sensitive.
But in the two roms running, the most serious error was found, that is, after turning off the screen, sometimes it suddenly shuts down, or wakes up in the morning and finds it is shut down.
In addition, the color does not seem to be DCI P3.

Have run this kernel for 2 days now on corvus without any problems at all, no freeze's or rebooting, color is good, smooth snappy kernel. Thanks!!

When I test corvus, the color is normal! It is the DCI-P3 color gamut.
It seems that this kernel is not suitable for LineageOS and crDroid!
I just installed corvus and don't know if there are other problems.

Kernel performs very good, so I hope that the developer wants to look at the problems on lineage and crdroid. @UtsavTheGreat can we help with logfiles?

Kernel has issue with display... Many users reported 4 horizontal lines, like the LCD is divided in 4 quarters. Also its missing KCAL support for color profiles. Other than that, its the best for performance/battery...

Im using nusantara rom and ill tried it already on evox.. why during playing some videos on facebook and music on spotify the sounds is missing when its on the middle part of the videos and music.. is this rom bug or kernel? Thanks dev great work

In custom ROM-world people like you are worshipped as God, ROM god. Bugs are normal, nothing is perfect. Even creators of Google fixes thier Pixel phones weekly and monthly basis. And thanks a lot for this ROM.

Recently, I started to try these AOSP roms and for every single one I faced the same problem concerning recharging the device. It only charge on Recovery mode (TWRP latest one).

This ROM shows me a very good job.
However, one thing I noticed is that there seems to be a problem in determining the automatic rotation of the screen.

I want to test this ROM. Do I need to wipe internal storage as well? Can I use TWRP? I'm currently on unofficial lineage OS 19.1

Yes, you should be able to use the latest official TWRP. I do recommend you wipe/format data.

@christian.farmerf I installed it, first of all, great work, it's looking great. There are a couple of annoying bugs though: The mic doesn't work when on loudspeaker (This has been fixed on unofficial LOS, but I had other issues on that ROM), and call volume is too low (almost not audible if there's a little bit of noise where I'm making the call from) when not on loudspeaker. So for now, the best way I can make calls is using my air pods. I hope you can fix these bugs in future builds. Thanks again for the great work on this gorgeous old phone

Thanks for the info, but the sim slot on my phone actually doesn't work so I, unfortunately, cannot test for myself. In the future, I will purchase a fully functional device for further development.

You can test WhatsApp calls though, same issues there as normal calls

I have a problem with too much storage using the stock system.
My Sprint ph1 is on android 10 official OTA & already unlocked the botloader

Any ROM you encounter, including stock, will have ≈ 20GB in the system due to the device being A/B partitioned. The only way around this is to completely wipe one slot and install android onto the other (NOT RECOMMENDED!). I do, however, recommend you upgrade to an android 12L ROM, whether it is one of mine or not, just so you can have more up-to-date security updates.

You could possibly do this, but do not. A/B slots allow for your device to remain functional should an update or tweak break one slot. If there was an EDL unbrick tool for the phone I would have no problem with you attempting this, but at the moment it is too risky.

I'm having a issue with Chrome/Bromite (latest stablel versions) rebooting the phone on a particular website.
When I open the webpage www.worldometers.info/coronavirus, wait for today's statistics tables to load, then try to tap on yesterday's statistics, it freezes the phone for few seconds, the phone screen goes dark for few seconds then the phone reboots.
Is anybody experiencing the same phenomenon?

I've noticed the auto brightness behaves odd. Darkness or at night it never gets to fully dim. I'm daylight it never goes to full brightness either.
It doesn't seem to really adjust
