I'm assuming this is a Snapdragon device
They don't have an up_param.bin partition

Names of Primary and Secondary Bootloaders

I just downloaded CM7 from Technomancer and was about to flash it using heimdall when I got stuck at which file is the primary and which is the secondary bootloader. I am pretty sure that the two of them are boot.bin and sbl.bin, but I don't know which is which. Please provide some wisdom about this, or if it even matters at all in what order I put these two files.
Thanks
primary = boot.bin
secondary = sbl.bin
[S]econdary [B]oot [L]oader.bin
Easy, huh...

Yes! Working, i have NFC
Thanks man for helping, i'll fix my S6500 right now
I thought this PIT is for the D variant, not the NFC variant, it even says that on the filename. I would be careful with this file.
NFC has nothing to deal with partitions ! NFC has something in kernel, not in PIT.

I Need S6500 Full Package Firmware
Thanks In Advance
It's been a while . Here is PIT file for non D. Checked it myself. S6500XXLD2_DBTLD2 is full firmware (BL, PDA, Phone, CSC). The PIT file was extracted from that ROM.

Urgently need PIT file for Galaxy S4 Active (SGH-I537 ATT)

I have a corrupted baseband, (unknown in about screen). The latest odin for 4.3 does not include PIT file so I cannot use the reform option. Kies also does not support initializing/upgrade feature on this device. Does anyone have a PIT file for the galaxy s4 active from AT&T? I would like to try odin with PIT to see if it does anything to get my baseband back.
Also, a working QCN file with or without IMEI would be helpful as well!

Yeah? Nothing in there has the PIT file i'm looking for.
I don't have a i537 myself. I can give you a pit file of my I9295 but I doubt that they are the same. Anyone with a rooted i537 can get your pit file with
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/mnt/extSdCard/I537.pit bs=1k skip=17 count=8

Soft bricked S5 4.4.2 (Need Guidence)

Well I finally got rid of Verizon and my S3's lol for this phone and a new company. But as i went and got the phone and did not research come to find out I guess i have a locked bootloader cause now I get this.........
Secure Fail: RECOVERY
I went to install a twrp 3.0.0.0 tar and I got greeted with some Verizon S3 stress of what I think is a locked BL.
Ok lets say that's the case its locked.......
How can I find out the right stock firmware all I'm positive about is the following info:
Gold 16gb AT&T S5 SM-G900A
4.4.2
At this time I need the right firm and then anyone willing to guide me in the right direction to get 6.0.1 on here and SE permissive I'll love you.
For now I'm phoneless!

If it was on 4.4.2 when you got it there are Odin packages for that. We can't get SE permissive(except through multisystem) and there's no MM release from art for our phone.

Stock FW for MetroPCS SM-G530T1

Good news for everyone using the Metro version of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime version 5.1.1 and soft bricked their device. After searching for almost a week I finally found the original stock firmware for the Metro PCS version not the T-Mobile version.
*Credit goes to TSAR3000 for original upload*
Android Version# 5.1.1
FW Version# G530T1UVU1AOH9
Build# LMY47X.G530T1UVU1AOH9
Kernel# 3.1049-5647484
Also I have included the .pit files. Use Odin to flash both files. Connect your Galaxy G530T1 to your PC and open Odin. (I run as admin, not sure if it makes a difference but doesn't hurt to be sure.) Click on the pit tab and select the .pit file included in the package. Then check the AP box and select the FW for your device. I leave the settings as is as far as reset time and re-partition boxes are checked. Also The FRP lock is disabled. (Again I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but better to be safe than sorry). To disable the FRP go to the developer settings and turn on OEM Unlocking as well as the USB Debugging. If you dont see Developer Options under the settings menu, go to About device and click on the Build # 7 times to unlock the developer settings. Download the zip file from one of the links below and extract the files. If you still want to root after you flash I have a link for the KingRoot file as well.
Firmware is approx 966MB
KingRoot is approx 8.2MB
Decryption keys are included in Mega links

I haven't looked into recovery or custom roms yet. I've seen a few custom roms for other versions of the Grand Prime but none for the Metro version yet. When I find some I will post

Awesome! Great work.
thanks for posting but need help
Thanks for posting this, It is exactly what I was looking for. I have a MetroPCS Grand Prime(MetroPCS SM-G530T1) After trying to load another .tar file via odin(from another source), I have been getting a continual soft reset. I then found your post and am very desperately trying to get back to what I had before. (even though root would still be nice)
I downloaded the drop box link you have, it was 1.6 gigabytes though in size and you mentioned it would be 966 Megs,
I couldn't get the Mega link to work as it asked me for a decryption key.
I then opened Odin and used the AP to load the .tar file that downloaded from drop box. It failed and I am not sure why, here is what the log said.
<ID:0/008> Removed!!

<ID:0/008> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/008>
<ID:0/008> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I am not sure how to proceed from here, You mentioned a PIT file but I didn't get one of those when I downloaded from the drop box link, Do I need that file to make this work?
Maybe it is included in the Mega link but it says I am supposed to ask you for the decryption key, can you give that to me? Or maybe there is something else I am not doing correctly.
it says G360 right in the filename... The G360 is the Core Prime... Not the Grand Prime.
---------- Post added at 05:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:59 PM ----------
Also, the firmware you linked is nowhere near 966mb! The one you uploaded is 1.53GB. Be cautious with this XDA, could be the wrong file mistakenly uploaded, but it's always good to be cautious before flashing your device with something you aren't sure about.
For those who are having problems with the Mega link I have the decryption key for you. I also double checked the mega link and I'm positive that it is the correct firmware. It is labled G530T1UVU1AOH9_TMB1AOH9_v5.1.1_Repair_Firmware.zip
The decryption key is: !avrYieWfJH6mJcu3TC5NnYCCrrFmdZ16YXRbAfJ-rNs
Sorry for the dropbox upload. I did post the wrong link and I appologize for that. The new links are up

Yes this is the Metro version with metro PCS bloatware/apps instead of t-mobile bloatware/apps lol. Pretty much the only difference between the two. I noticed when I used the T-Mobile version I wasn't able to use MyMetro app. Always gave me an error.

Since I didn't attempt to root my phone can I just download king root, or do I also need to go through all steps?
