galaxy s4 active sgh-i537 need help asap

Hi all im new to xda and i have a big problem i was trying to flash lollipop 5.0 to my phone with the firefly app i believe its called and once it was rebooting the phone never turned back on now i cant use my phone it only goes to recovery mode and download but wont turn on or charge i was originally on 4.2.2 and had it rooted..please i really need my phone back asap..any help would be appreciated.thanks

You need to flash the NE3 Odin package first, then you can update to OC7. You can't go directly from 4.2.2 to 5.0.1 or you will have the exact problem you're experiencing.

Thanks for the reply . I have tried the ne3 odin packages but the one i found it needs a password to open it do you happen to know of one ?

Here, download this, it's the same file you need, it's not password protected

Extract all four files and install with Odin like in the picture below:

Post the log. You have to boot the phone into download mode by holding power and vol-, are you doing this?

NEW ERROR (Unfortunately, Exchange Services has stopped)

Hi everybody. I've rooted my phone today and I deleted some of system app. After deleting some system apps, my phone is not running good. I backup(ed) some of apps but still my phone is not running well.
Note: Whatsapp etc.. is working fine.

I think you deleted related to google playstore and youtube.So flash the new firmware to work with and than download any custom rom that is already debloated or search which file you can delete and which cant.It will be pain for the first to see which file is useable and which not but for the next time you already know which to delete.

Thanks for the answer. I have BL . is that problem for the firmware? And i can't open chrome browser too.(so not for only youtube,gp)
Any different way to solve this problem without reset my phone? I have game scores

did you delete google play services? if yes go here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/ download and install
PS: Be carefull which one you install, before you download check the version. You want one with the android version you have

Question Should really have a separate device listed for this question regarding the real me 8 5g

I'm trying to root my real mi 8 5 g we using the stock ROM and magisk now I cannot extract the boot.img file from the stock roms I have downloaded as they're in a database format instead of ozip I can deal with ozip using python and the decrypt scripts but I am currently stuck as I need the rmx3241_11_A.22 stock version of the rom or if somebody can post me a link to just the boot.img file that would be fantastic...
Also secondly I have the 128 GB version of the phone but since I do a lot of installing of tools & toys and play around a lot I am running short of space so I have added one terabyte of SD storage but apps do not seem to recognise it any pointers?

(Just can't get used to the fact that Android keep changing where things are and with the the current colour or race and the fact that I'm using oppo really confusing sometimes when things vanish haha!)

I use voice to text so sometimes things do not read the way I meant I was talking about colour OS and the the one UI version 2

Still can't get into fastboot- it displays a tiny message for 0.5 seconds then reboots into system!!

has your device been unlocked bootloader?

Can't power off phone or enter recovery.

Following official Magisk installation guide.
Phone is a Snapdragon S10+, China/HongKong model.
Just Odin'd Android 12, rebooted and installed Magisk app, repaired tar with recovery option because no ramdisk then Odin'd all again with new fixed AP tar.
The problem now is according to the guide I have to get into android's recovery mode somehow.
I've tried all manner of key combinations like Bixby+vol up+ power etc and nothing works except download mode again.
Do I really have to wait for the phone to run out of power?

It is official originally. That message is because I flashed a magisk repaired AP tar to try and gain root. The next step was to enter recovery.

Tried again using a Canary build magisk, was able to finally get into recovery after flashing modified tar however the only option was a factory reset. Oh well..back to the drawing board.

Hey I got it working. Went back to magisk 24.3.
Was checking recovery option box before the AP patching as advised because no Ramdisk but a friend told me not to check recovery anyway and I successfully rebooted twice and now have root and Zygisk.

So i wanted to changed the rom, and Xiaomi Flash Tool crashed, it hardbricked the phone.
After 1 weeks of trying to repair the phone, i did it but the IMEI code was deleted.

bro always BACKUP the stock rom before doing anything with mtk client so when something happen u can always back to the original
try to look for someone who has a full backup of the rom and download it

Update : I try with usb but now it stuck on Connect to MD

After a "modeswitch" most probably the device will connect as a different USB device which will need a driver. It takes some time and often needs manual installation when this happens. Check the device manager for the newly appeared unknown device and check the driver...
