OxygenOS Dialer framework - Custum Rom

Hello,
How use OxygenOS Dialer framework in custom rom? I can't change rom because I need the features.
Mainly, I need block sms and calls but store the log hidden.
(I use dual-sim)

So many features that the users want from oxygen OS. I am surprised even if the user use custom ROM as a daily driver. Whyyyyyyy............

OOS dialer is going to work only on OOS.

You said the issue in your first post: framework.
Different frameworks, different compatibility.
Sounds to me like you need the "features" of Oxygen os, not AOSP.

Request for Themes, Screensavers, Icon Sets for custom ROMs (like LOS, RR, Havoc OS)

Hello All,
I'm new to the Xiaomi family and K20 Pro is my first phone.
I've unlocked my bootloader and installed LineageOS, which is working well so far.
The themeing options are quite limited IMO - not many screensavers, themes (I will try Substratum soon!) or custom icon sets.
So can we use this thread to share resources and discuss about different types of eye candy for the custom ROMs available for K20 Pro?

Has anyone tried to install Substratum for Theme support on custom ROMs (LOS, Havoc OS, Resurrection Remix, Syberia etc.)
What are your views? Are there any problems?

Running Havoc and I had no issues using Substratum themes except for older themes which shouldn't work on 9.0+ anyways.

Im using substratum and the theme swift black which i purchased a couple of years ago working well to theme third party apps and i use built in dark mode for system stuff.

[Q][Assistance please] Porting a specific feature from a ROM by as a Magisk Module

Hi, how ya doing? I'd like to make a module which ports one of Resurrection Remix's feature(most customisable ROMs have it xD) BTW, I don't want thousands customisations on my phone but few of them. And I'm on CAF based ROM(no customisations at all ). So is there anyway to make a Magisk Module from a .java file? Any help would be appreciated . What does it mean?
Well, the MARS_SOM_SYSTEM contains all the ROM Files, while the Base only contains Build Properties and Configs. They work together and are splitted to make everything safe to use and easy to debug...
You can use both, or just one of them. But they play better together <3

I did this personally awhile back for lg v20 7.0. Is a great idea, but can be a pain. Took forever to flash via magisk. I just never made a post. I dont have github either.
Yours may be way faster and better. My version was whole roms. But this was back on nougat 7.0.
You are still first post so don't worry .
The next coolest thing would be a systemless kernel, if even possible?

please explain a little bit more.. for people that haven't the same technical background..
should I download base, system or both to unzip and zip?

The Idea is still solid. I started that with the Nexus 6, 6 or 7 Years ago or so. But since many Androids are lacking TWRP is Magisk the only way to play. Many ROM makers adapted that Idea for their ROMs but looks like most of the ROM makers are gone, except some few ones. Yeha, it's pain in the Ass to create and handle but it's nice for the Users since it's Systemless.

More Infos are coming along with Release Zips, but for now:
- BASE are System Props only which may be the biggest part to handle for Qualcomm Devices since they are a lot and very Device specific sometimes.
- SYSTEM is pure porting of Android Files. XMLs, Props, Apps, Frameworks, Libs, Overlays (Including an own MARS Overlay which adds Device Features like AoD, Nightlight and more), Permissions, Firmware Parts and so on. This Part is most importantly and makes the GSI nearly Pixel like. I hope People will contribute and work with Me on that
You can handle them as Seperate Modules to say it in short. Seperated Zips for better debugging, testing and rescue. Enjoy <3

Quick Heads-up. I am waiting for PHH to release Android 12 GSIs with Magisk support. I can do much more with AOSP compared to the actual Android 12 BETA 5 and Google GSIs overall. Looking forward to the next Level

A11 roms?

So I just switched over from a Moto G5 to this phone. The first thing I did was install LineageOS 19.1 (after playing with the stock rom a bit). I gotta be honest… I'm not loving Android 12. Are there any still active Android 11 builds left? Everything I've looked at here are either 12 or 13 now.
Back on the G5, there were some folks that were posting updated Lineage builds with back ported patches (even back to L14). How hard is it to do that? I admit I'm clueless at actually building the rom, but if it is something that can be learnt fairly easily, I'd be game to try

I might take a look at that module, but I've been avoiding anything xposed so far.
IMO A12 is just fuggly and that's the biggest reason I want to ditch it.
Ideally, I'd like to find a build of Lineage18.1 that has any/all security patches backported (or learn how to do it myself) Even better, find a way to get Oreo or Pie to work on the Pixel5

I hated A12 for a long time. Didn't really get on it til A13 was out.
Between quick settings customization and repainter for color customization it really helps.
I'm able to use the stock Pixel ROM happily with AOSP MODs. I think that the quick settings look really nice with the help of AOSP MODs.
I'd give it a solid chance before saying it isn't for you, and if it isn't I think the best A11 ROM is crdroid.
Could be others but Crdroid A11 ROM was my ROM of choice before upgrading.
P5 came with A10 IIRC, so you may be able to get that going but anything below that I'd be surprised.

I actually felt the same about android 12, just didn't fit my eye. So about 6 months ago, I installed the latest stock version of android 11. I was originally planning to root the P5, and install flar's kernel, but everything has run so well, I've not gone any further. I still may install twrp, and give elemental a try ... we'll see. My advice, go for it.

@andybones hey how did you get your QS tiles to be bigger, like in your screenshot, and labels underneath the icons? Is it the premium feature of repainter app? I really like that style and look.

I love this feature, it's actually a wonderful mod in AOSP MODs "Move tile icons to the top"

Hah funny story. I used Fox's Magisk Module Manager to download AOSP MOD but for some reason, the latest version in Fox app was v2.2, not v2.4. I was wondering why I didn't have that option until I realised that I was using the wrong version! Anyway, updated to the latest v2.4. and now I see that option. Thanks for your reply, otherwise I would've never realised it.

This is why I like to flash the canary versions.
I find that it's very stable.
