please help me.
when low battery msg is pop up, I used to restart the device, battery indicator shows battery life half
ROM still came with diamond

I have had the same issue. My battery can show 75%, then I do a soft reset and it will show 90%. It's all over the board. I'm fairly certain it's a conflicting app causing the problem because if I do a hard reset and don't install anything for 24 hours, the battery meter works fine.
Just can't seem to narrow down the culprit.
I recommend you to download this package "htc test.zip" to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2511016
as well as various useful tools such as the control of GPS
will find one for the battery that shows you all the properties and charge cycles as well as the real capacity of the battery
You also gotta read that: Your laptop is lying to you.
And also all the various web sites talking about that article.
Is there any news regarding the battery problems on the Note, I don't mean fast battery drain or something like that. I mean the malfunctional battery percentage read outs: for, example the phone shuts down, because it is out of battery and then when you plug it in, and just short press the on/off button it says the battery is charged 50% or something like that, while it obviously isn't. Also when you have just checked it with this short press on the on/off button, if you properly boot in the os it says the battery is 70% or something like that. This doesn't seem to be a app related, but more a kernel related problem. I know some other people also had this problem, but I haven't seem anyone yet with a solution...
I don't have a logcat, but since others also had this problem I don't know whether the devs needed another. I do know this could just be a bad battery, but this is my second original battery, so I don't think this is the problem.
Personally I have no problem with a bad batterylife, and with SlimKat the batterylife is wonderful, but because of this inconsistent read-outs I have no clue when the battery is charged, and it just dies on my on random moments
THE POLL IS WRONG, just state whether you have problems in the comments
Hi Guys, I really would like to ask some help with my Nexus 6 in which the battery drains to fast and some message always appearing once I try tuning it on back again.
It all started just last week when i noticed that my battery drains to fast, in which lets say the battery has still 70% of power then when Im about to using, the fone will immediately turn off saying the battery is already 0%. But once I try to charge it, it'll be showing that the battery has still 70% of power. Aside from that, every time Im about to turn it on after the knowing that my phone has still enough battery or once I tried to plug the adaptor. A message will appear stating that "Apps updating 15 of 135" something...
I've tried to reset my phone hoping that something that I've downloaded probably have cause my phone to malfunction, but still no use. The battery is draining too fast and that updating of apps is still showing and it'll take atleast 4X I need to turn on my phone with the charger plugin in order for the phone to turn on properly.
Would anyone might know whats the problem or whats causing my phone to malfunction in that way?

The battery is busted, the same thing happened to me. I had to send the phone back to Motorola and they sent me a refurbished one back and its having the same issue. I'm just giving up on this phone and getting the note 4

It could be updating of apps or system. In that case the message "Apps updating . . ." is normal after reboot.
When you have a slow data connection updating can take a lot of time, including battery drain.
Same problem with my n6. But only in high mountains... No restarts when in airplane mode or without sim card
Hi,
My battery level is stuck at 99% although I know it is lower than that. This happened after I flashed the InsertCoin ROM, but it does not look to be caused by it. At the beginning I thought that there is something wrong with the ROM, because the battery level was correct after reboot and about a minute after that the percentage was switching to displaying 99%. I rebooted into recovery and observed the same effect, 36% and about a minute in TWRP the percentage became 99%. I rebooted into Android again, but now the battery level is stuck at 99% from the start. In /sys/class/power/battery/vol I see the correct voltage, but that's it, everything else screams 99% battery level.
Any ideas? Is the battery just dead?
Thanks!
UPDATE: Sorry for the delayed update, I solved the issue soon after I posted the question. So it turned out that the update of Android System WebView to version 46.0.2490.76 was causing the bug. It is really weird, but it is what it is. I uninstalled the update and the issue is gone Hope this will help if somebody else experiences the same issue
Hello
I'm new here and a basic user
A couple days ago I bought a used Mate S and was happy with it. I thad some screen burn-in (expected) and nothing else was wrong with it... until it reached 19% battery.
As soon as it happens, the phone sends the low battery alert and the phone shuts off (not instantly, it shows the "Shutting off..." message for a couple of secs)
I've calibrated the battery (I think I did it wrong may be?) but it just seems weird that it shows off as soon as the alert shows up.
I don't know how to fix this, but is it stupid to think that it could be fixed if I (somehow) change when the low battery alert shows up?
How can I do this? Or is there another way to solve my problem?
I managed to root the phone. Help please...
I had the same problem. I had change the battery and works fine

Ohh
But... is there a way to change the n% low battery warning? (set at <20%) I'm convinced that'd help xd
I saw a mod that gives you the option on the P9 forum, but it's for android N
