I'm running Treble Experience GSI by phhusson on my A30GN

The process is simple.....But there are a few requirements that you need to do before hand.
1. Unlock your Bootloader
2. Patch your Boot.img using Magisk
3. Install Twrp. If compatible with your device. In my case I used "Geiti94" Twrp he provided (TWRP_A30_A305F_V3_ASH1.tar) this worked for me even though I've got a A305GN and was flashed using Odin.
4. Download GSI rom of your choice just make sure you download the right version for your phone otherwise you'll face endless bootloops. *****You can use "Treble Info.apk" ***** to find out what your phone system supports as there are 4 types
5. Boot into Twrp, Tap on Wipe then Advanced Wipe then select "Dalvik/Art Cache" System" Data" leave everything else as it is. Then swipe to Wipe.
6. Then go back to Twrps main screen and tap on Install and navigate to where you put the GSI file by Selecting Storage then Install Image this will show only GSI image files. Then select your GSI file then select which Partition to flash to.....Which is SYSTEM.... DONE.

My system is a Arm64 compatible with a SystemAB GSI

I haven't experienced any sort of errors/bugs yet. Everything I use on a daily basis works, but if there are any errors/bugs they have yet to show themselves.
You have to understand that there are going to be errors/bugs in any custom firmware you flash to your phone, that's just the way it is nothing's 100% besides Stock.
I installed AOSP, it was easy. I am from Latin America and I had no problems placing the TWRP or loading the ROM, and the phone works much faster and the battery, it seems to last much longer

What AOSP GSI image did you go with? Was it already Rooted with SU?
Have you manage to resize your screen to allow your icons at the top of your screen to fiit
If you by any chance have "Phh Treble Settings" in your "Settings" then your good to go.
Yes, it is already rooted. I did it with the last one published in AOSP, published 4 days ago I think, download the version with gapps, you ride it with TWRP (it's in img) and that's it

Hi, I'm from Latin America too. My cell phone model is the SM-A305GU and I would also like to install AOSP but I don't have enough knowledge and I don't want my cell phone to be like an unusable brick. Could you guide me to get this?

I'm not the OP but when I tried Lineage Phh-Treble, there was an option about diameter of round corners in "Phh Treble Settings"->"Misc settings" and I set that to 20 and then the problem was fixed.

I have found that not all the Android 10 gsi I've used have this feature, Pixel Experience Q 28102019 being one of them.
so I've flashed this zip via TWRP to regain this ability. I know it doesn't work on all of them but its worth a try for those of you out there willing to give it a go.
I have successfully flashed the aosp 10 gsi (latest one) seems to be working really good.
The transitions seems to be little bit lagging with the stock launcher, and using other launcher totally removes the way task changer works. Which launcher are you guys using?
Can you make us tuturial please:fingers-crossed:

i would like to ask you guys what are the apps/system apps that can safely remove from redmi 9?
including xiaomi apps.
thank you!
it's depends on the region of your device. As I can see only the Third pre-installed apps able to removed.
Google Apps .. Non-removable ( Only Podcast,News,duo and photos )
Xiaomi Apps .. Non-removable ( Only Mi remote and Share me )
Third apps ( like Netflix,Wps Office,..etc ) .. Able to remove
My version : Global

Well, You need to be careful with this ( You know because of MTK ). Anyway I don't think there is apps from xiaomi eating Ram ( Background ) only the
-Security App ( Take around 300 Mbs from Ram )
- Find device ( around 15 mb )
- Sim tolkit ( around 55 mb )
And I don't know if it's safe to remove because I didn't try it before.
Good luck best wishes for you :good:
thanks you sir.
Some user have only 3gb ram like me. Upon checking my ram usage it consumes 1.8gb ram to 2gb.
i am hoping someone can give us the list of bloatware apps in background process that we dont need for redmi 9.

Any suggestions on what else can be done for now or even questions and ide be happy to help out.
One last thing, if someone had a fix for the Warning on Boot message you get that would be great, I have tried searching for a Boot animation fix/workaround without success.
Thanks for reading & let's puts some heads together here

I have similar setup -
Nova launcher w/S6 icon pack
EdXposed, w/Xprivacy, Gravity box, Firefds Kit, Burnt Toast.
Magisk.

Thats also something else I am looking into, its just images files afaik. So the trick use for the S20 should work on the S20FE - there is a thread on XDA and I just need to get around to trying it out.

Nice set-up! Is the Nova Launcher highly responsive? I've tried a few & the Oneplus I'm using at the moment is great, extremely fast & easy UI with great features..also pairs well with the Viral icon pack from Playstore.

No, the launcher feature was removed in Android 11 I think?
That's why we have to use a module called "Quickswitch (Android Pie+)" to get the feature back.. root's easy with the build feature in Magisk provided you have the BL unlocked that is..

I think I've tried that method if it's the up_param.tar method using adb shell/cmd & I was unsuccessful in my venture lol I think our model has a different file placement/format compared to that threads OP, maybe wrong?

Which SafetyNet pass file did you use? I tried the one that said it was fixed for S20 fingerprint data, but it made my FE bootloop.
I didnt, once you root most android devices, they wont pass Safetynet.

I read yesterday that you won't pass with EdXposed, using LSposed apparently changes that.
I dont need or want Google pay on any of my devices. If I want to pay for something I use my debit/credit cards.
I havent used Lspeed in a long while as it kept causing unprodictable instabilities on the devices I put it on.
LSposed is an alternative to EdXposed, it's a module that uses riru or however you spell it

Hello Everyone..I had this Debloating tool sitting on my hardisk since 2015.
It was orignally creted by Szaki
Discord : https://discord.com/invite/xiaomi
Github : https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools
Features : Debloat MIUI ROMS without ADB scripts.
You need to simply install the Tool on your pc. Enable ADB and connect the phone.
All the system app will show up in the Tool. Select and uninstall.
Best thing is you can restore the apps from the Tool if you break something.
Steps:
1. Install ADB (can be found on XDA)
2. Install JAVA Developement kit (Attached in the zip)
3. Enable Developers option in phone and connect to pc giving all the permissions.
4. Run XiaomiADBFastbootTools.jar (Attached in the zip)
5. Select and debloat
I followed this list to debloat without any issues so far
Xiaomi Super bloatware List 2020
THIS IS THE LIST OF BLOATWARE I REMOVED ON MY K30 PRO (POCO F2 PRO)

This is amazing thanks for this been looking for something like this
Thank you for this. Could you please tell me if there are apps/services I shouldn't uninstall for the device to remain functional?

I have Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro (both Global EEA ROM) and this tool works perfectly on both. The biggest problem people have is the installation of the correct version of Java - if you try to use the wrong one, it won't work.

Hi,
back in the time I was using a lot of Custom ROMs and Root features like Xposed. Latter stopped working at some points and I stopped keeping myself informed about it. I mostly stuck to vanilla ROMs with Magisk the last couple of years, also on my current Pixel 6.
Since Xposed seems to work again via Exposed I got interested again and now I am wondering, what I would gain from it. So my questiosn: What are the best features/modules of Xposed in 2022 in your opinion and how much effort is it to use (still taking OTA updates etc)?
