I am not responsible for any mishaps you may do on your device!
Prerequisites
Unlocked bootloader (Obviously )
Must've installed android_sdk/platform-tools, if not download and install it here, afterwards extract it to somewhere easily accessible
The recovery itself, to which you may download it here officially, and place it inside to where the android_sdk/platform-tools where extracted
A personal computer
Steps
Reboot to fastboot and plug your USB cable to your PC
On your PC launch command prompt to where the extracted android_sdk/platform-tools are
Verify if your PC detects your device by inserting fastboot devices if your device is not detected you may need to install specific driver for your device.
Flash the respective recovery image using fastboot flash boot <recovery_filename>.img (replace <recovery_filename> with the actual filename!)
After installation verify if recovery is installed by rebooting to recovery using fastboot reboot recovery
You are done, congratulations!

Does this work for Redmi note 11?
I'm having issues on my recovery mode, my touch is not responding (TWRP installed), but works in normal boot with some problems (this happened after I changed my screen)
So can this recovery install custom roms and also work with the volume buttons?

Hi,
I have Carbon ROM with Android 10,
I wanted to flash Bliss ROM, and it says that I need a rooted device,
So I've downloaded Magisk and follow the instruction, created a boot.img and flashed it in fastboot, then I did the same only with twrp recovery & Magisk, flashed it and now it is wiered and I'm not sure what is the problem,
I have fastboot BUT when I try to perform any command, it shutsdown and preety useless, I've tried from PC, if I try from MAC, I can boot into twrp but every operation is causing the tablet to reboot.. So I can't even flash a stock ROM,
In PC, the recognized Android device (When in fastboot mode) I update it's driver to Android bootloader device
How can I solve it?
Thanks !!!
So i have TWRP 3.6.0_9-0 installed and i flash Pixel Experience on the device and it runs fine but then when i go back to TWRP it says unable to mount storage and then later on if i try the EX2 -EX4 file system method it goes into Boot loop and i have to reflash the ROM and also there is a problem as in If i install The Rom and Magisk at the same time it also goes into bootloop issues. So clearly The Pixel Experience isnt able to be rooted or something is wrong with my TWRP. I am new to putting custom Roms in my device so i was wondering if anyone of you can educate me about the same. Thank YOU <3
For root:

I installed crDroid and flashed disable-dm-verity and my phone stopped reacting to touch
How I can fix it?

Hello,
I'm actually running fine a CrDroid on android 12 without issue.
Here's how i flashed it :
FOR JUICE!
1. Reflash the Firmware using MiFlash (From clean all and lock, change it to clean all Only)
2. Boot your device to Fastboot mode and Connect your device again to the PC
3. Download Minimal ADB and Fastboot and Install it, as follow the Instructions.
4. Download the OrangeFOX Recovery, download the Xiaomi.eu Rom, and download your Favourite Custom Rom.
5.Go to the Directory of Minimal ADB and Fastboot ----> C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
and paste the recovery.img from the Archive in the Directory of Minimal ADB and Fastboot
6. Launch the Minimal ADB and Fastboot.exe Shotcut from the Desktop and type these commands:
1. Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
2. If you want to reboot the device Fast type Fastboot reboot
7. Boot the device to the OrangeFOX Recovery, go to the Menu and open the Settings
8. From the Settings select General and uncheck Mount system and vendor read-only
9. Important! To install Successfully the Rom u need first to format the Data, go to Wipe section, select Format Data, type yes and Confirm.
10. Disconnect the Phone, connect it again to the USB and drag the Xiaomi.eu rom zip and the Custom Rom zip to the Phone
11. First u need to Install the Xiaomi.eu Rom zip this is Important!
12. When the flashing of the Xiaomi.eu Rom zip is Complete, u can flash your Favourite Custom Rom
13 Final Step: Format the Data with typing Yes again and Reboot the device, Enjoy!

i fixed the touch issue using just boot.img from xiaomi.eu rom but wi-fi didn't work and now when i tried flash it, i got bootloop.
i won't try this bcs i don't have good internet now but when i will have good internet, i'll try it.
anyways, thanks
Btw, latest version (crdroid 8.7) don’t work even if I used this method. I’m actually running crdroid 8.6 without any issue

Hi. Can you put the link here to the crdroid you installed pls. And about this steps:
11. First u need to Install the Xiaomi.eu Rom zip this is Important!
12. When the flashing of the Xiaomi.eu Rom zip is Complete, u can flash your Favourite Custom Rom
You can dirty flash Xiaomi.eu Rom upon original 12.5.11 global (which i have now) and then the crdroid 8.7 upon Xiaomi.eu Rom or you need to wipe data/cache/system then install the crdroid and then format data ? And one more thing, does fox recovery work well ( touch and settings etc) because who tried some time ago, touch was irresponsive or not boot at all in recovery and say only twrp brigudaw and pitch black recovery was working on nvt touch. Thanks.
Hey !
This is the rom i actually use
What i did is flash the Xiaomi.eu rom upon the latest MIUI Global flashed via Fastboot
Right after flash, without any wipe, i flashed crdroid/gapps/magisk
Boot, test touchscreen, it would work correctly
hmm people tell 8.6x work but I have very bad internet speed so... is 8.7x working? bcs i don't have time to download 8.7x and after that 8.6x
Touchscreen don’t work at all with 8.7. Flash 8.6

All,
I'm attempting to figure out whether something in my flashing process broke down for one Zenfone 8 in particular that results in an unusable LineageOS 18.1 OS. This one particular phone was in a fastboot cycle that would not load the LineageOS Recovery mode or OS until I flashed the `dtbo.img` file. That fixed the fastboot and I was able to then sideload the OS.
However, the OS comes up with a white screen and extreme unresponsiveness. It's unusable. Other phones whereby I followed the same process (but did NOT need to flash `dtbo.img`) are working just fine.
I've run through the flashing process multiple times on the problem phone w/ no luck. Any thoughts appreciated. Should I get the phone back to complete stock and try again?
Flashing Process
-------------------------------
1. Unlock tool APK, unlock, etc.
2. fastboot flash vendor_boot sake_vendor_boot.img
3. fastboot flash boot recovery.img
a. When in fastboot cycle, I then flash `dtbo.img`, but I've only done this on the problematic phone
4. Factory reset
5. Restart, Recovery Mode, Update via ADB
6. adb sideload lineage.zip

HI
Lineage OS 18.x is based on Android 11 as far as I know so I suggest to install the original ASUS Android 11 raw image and then reinstall the LineageOS using the install instructions from LineageOS.
The raw image for Android 11 on the ASUS Zenfone 8 is available on this Website:
https://www.asus.com/Content/Android-12-Beta/
in the section
How to opt-out and revert back to Android 11
at the end of the page
That's how I reinstall my development Zenfone 8 from 12 to 11 or vice versa.
regards
Bernd
Just wanted to thank you for the information you posted; the re-flash to stock download worked perfectly for what I needed.
Hello !
I recently wanted to install a custom recovery to my phone to install PixelExperience ROM (Android13Plus) to my phone but the provided recovery won't appear and instead show th classic MIUI recovery even if I try rebboting from Fastbootd directly to recovery.
I also try using this unofficial TWRP recovery but it won't work too.
Does someone has an easy fix for this?
Try This Recovery I installed it and work fine.
