I know how to mess with android, but HD7 terminologies are like WTF? got me scratching my head. What is a Nodo and what are the very first steps i need to take to get my phone unlocked and with Mango. I live here in usa so it needs to work here. Another thing where do i see what 'SPL" i have now the phone info in the settings area doesnt give that info unless im looking for the wrong thing. Im not a noob to flashing and stuff but im a noob to WP7 flashing. And im on a iMac running windows 7 in Parallels desktop. I spent 5 hours searching already and i cant seem to connect the dots and its seems blurry on the tmous side of unlocking and upgrading. I dont need spoon feed. but i do need somebody to help me understand what i need to look for and why. thanks for and help. Im also pressed for time i have a buyer for te phone so im trying to keep the promise of having it ready buy tuesday.

yestarday microsoft start to update devices like lumia and other for wp8 , and when i chick at zune it gives me your device is up to date
so I think thire is no update for wp8 to our devices now we need custome room for it
can any body help with that or he will start doing it .
i feel realy sad , becouse my hd7 deserve the best .

First of all... you edited your OT after he answered. But he´s right! There will be no WP8 for any other phones but those who come with it preinstalled, like Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X.
Second... Custom roms with BETA WP7.8 can be found on the forum. They have been around for months.

Nothing exists for the Lumias as of now. Looking through the top threads under Windows Phone 8 Development and Hacking, you'll see that same question asked.

You're making the assumption that there's devs actively trying to do it... I was the first one to perm-root the Garminfone (Android), simply because nobody else was trying
trust me, there's a lot of people trying. The samsungs are easier because they've got the built-in registry editor.

hacking lumia phones look to be very hard.
sometimes i think about switch to Ativ S but i love my L920

Assigning reasonable meanings to "get in to the system" and "find something out" (because you were incredibly vague), no we can't tell you that; the whole point is that we don't yet know how to "get in". If you just meant read-only access througg, there's the webserver (limited permissions but runs on a retail device) or the ROM image (which you can mount and browse at will, but it's not "live" in any way).

go look at the forum that explains how interop unlock was achieved on the ATIV S. If you've read enough to know that a wp8 phone is interop unlocked, you'd know the reasoning why it was possible for the ativ s and not the lumias right now. Just wait until someone releases a thread detailing how to interop unlock the Lumia devices. Until then, you'll have to use your phone as.... A normal retail wp8 phone.

Well does anyone know why sideloaded games dont work but apps do?...i have a dev app and i tried the to sideload games which just startup and automatically shutdown...whereas apps work fine

I'm going to go wayyyy out on a limb and guess it's because your dev app is a legitimate development version of an app, whereas your games are not?
Yeah...this sounds like he's wanting advice in terms of piracy. This community isn't for helping you get your cracked apps/games working on your phone. If you want games and apps to work, BUY THEM LEGITIMATELY AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS.

I Have look all over the web and forums but couldn't find my answer.. I just got the nokia Lumia 640 XL dual sim and I wanted to download 2 separated whatsapps each for my different number on the same windows phone..
