Greetings everyone.
Im using a GW 5 pro with a Z Fold 3.
I wonder is it possible to open the notification tile on the watch with wrist gesture or shaking the watch etc.
For example im driving ....i get a notification.....i cant read it because im busy.....i want to read it a few minutes later and i have to swipe to read it..
What it would be great is some standalone app for the watch only where i can set this up.
I tryed
Shake launcher app
Wear gesture launcher app
Gesture controll app
Wrist gestures (in the settings)
Non of them works for what i want
Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks

I don't know if there is one already or if there is a way to do this but I have been wanting an app that allows me to rotate the screen when I want it not automatically. I find pretty annoying with auto rotate or if I want landscape I have to open the keyboard.
The ideal thing for me is to have the option stick in the notification bar and be able to toggle landscape mode. simalar to the app "bar control" I would gladly pay for this app if there isnt one out already.
no app out there likes this yet
droid sans tweak or ahome lite which is free and has auto rotate sorry goodluck
Hello guys
Today i installed this app for controlling gestures.
This app allows you to personalize gesturse (swipe, pinch, expand), with 1,2,3,4 or 5 fingers, for shortcuts to apps, or for lock the phone, kill current app, go to home ecc.
This app is really great I think!!
For example, i created (cause you can create your own gestures) a gesture for locking the phone swiping to the top center of the screen (its kinda like activator for iOS)
I can post all features, im sorry but you have plenty of possibilities!! App costs about 4$ in Play Store.
Or if you have aptoide you can download from there, totally free!!

Notice: I cant provide you a link for aptoide.

Works great but some of the gestures are only useful on a pad or a large screen phone
I've been using a OnePlus 6T and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 regularly and have become very much so used to swiping to go home, back, recents, etc. In fact, picking up my old Pixel 2 XL feels like a step back in terms of usage.
I understand there are apps that can mimic the gestures, but they aren't always 100% and can sometimes cause issues (Fluid N.G. definitely doesn't work 100% of the time and can be clunky feeling). The native gestures found on OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei, all feel great since they were made for the device and what not.
Based on every bit of footage I've seen thus far on the Galaxy S10/S10+, there are navigation buttons by default. Does anyone know if Samsung has made any gesture navigation to use instead of the buttons? I never thought I'd get used to using gestures but now I can't go back.
Cheers!
Yep Samsung does. Slightly different then others, but basically swipe up on left side to go back, swipe up middle for home, and swipe up on right side to go to recent apps. That is provided you have the navigation orientation the way it's supposed to be with back button on left and recents on right. Swipe up and hold middle for Google assistant

Personally I am not a fan of the Samsung gestures and 3 swipe zones can be complicated if you use different hands at times. It is one of the cons I am considering for getting the S10 as I would have to install fluid if I got one
you can completely hide navigations buttons in android pie - samsung - and use gesture (swipe left, right up down)
i am using them and it was difficult at first and i still get the random misfire but is better as you get 100% screen no button bars
you can find this option in settings
GMD gesture control does this and much more. I use it for years.

That's true, yes.
On the play store there is an app called edge gestures and there's also one made by Francisco named fluid ng. Both are very good.
as for Samsung gestures you can get a good preview on how it works here. https://youtu.be/KptBndWmvqY

Are the Samsung gestures always on by default or one can turn them off?

I second that Fluid NG is a great piece of work. Kudos to the dev.

No, it's stock button layout. You can enable the gestures if you so choose.
Talking about gesture, anyone know how to activate/how works the gesture to close an app?
I can see it on a few videos but can't replicate it for some reason? Are we suppose to swipe up a few times?

You just swipe from the middle once.

Do you need to activate it?
I'm not talking about the bottom swipe, I'm talking about apparently anywhere on the screen swipe.
i switched from iphone x to s10
and am using the samsung gestures + FluidNG , but limited the Fluid Gestures to only back from left and right parts of the screen the same as i do with the iphone , so now everything is good without the need for ROOT etc..
Try the Good Lock app from Samsung Galaxy Store. The app gathers all the enhancement software from Samsung in it. The one hand operation + uses gesture and is configurable.
Hi there,
Is there anyway to use the OnePlus feature of swiping anywhere on Screen and bringing the notification tray down?
I have a gesture app installed but it's not working well and you have to swipe to the right.
What about the xda gesture app?
Thanks
If you install Nova launcher you'll have that feature on your home screen
I have it. Do I need the pro version?
Thankd

I have been able to swipe down anywhere on the screen to bring down the panel from start. I use the standard launcher, the Space walk theme and full screen gestures and no buttons.
Hi, I just switched from Samsung Galaxy S8 to Huawei P30 pro.
What I miss 'till now is:
1) HD calls (Vo LTE) are they available?
2) phone with caller ID and spam protection: what do you suggest?
3) swipe down to open notification bar (edge gesture just installed works fine)
4) home with drawer: in drawer I see icons ordered by name with vertical scrolling. No way to create folders, move icons and have pagination?
5) seems stupid but was very useful: in Galaxy you can use a tool to take a partial screenshot and keep it floating on the screen. Useful p.e. if you have to write down info from a business card you photographed.
1- working for me
2- depends on where u at, where i live i used true caller till it got blocked
3- install 3rd party launcher
4- same as 3
5- use your knuckles, youtube it to learn how it is done
Thanks.
About screenshots: I can take screenshots using knuckles, I can save a partial screenshot, but I can't make it floating in the screen. You know how to do that (tried to search with no success)
You can split the screen by drawing from left to right with a knuckle across the middle of the screen. Place the screenshot in one half and your app in the other.
Once you take the screenshot, just click the small image of it on the bottom left, it will display it full screen so you can view it, or edit it.
Thanks all, but this do not reply to my question.
If you ever tried galaxy screenshot floating function you should. It's very useful!

Hey, i did the same switch.
Which app do you use for swipe down for notifications?
Playstore link?
Thx in advance
This one is good: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.de_studio.recentappswitcher.trial
But finally I reintroduced the bottom bar with fourth button to show notifications
Emui is the best(for me) , just give it some time. Samsung experience is the reason I never go with galaxy devices(my wife has s9)
I installed Nova Launcher (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher) as soon as I set up my P30 Pro. It'll take care of your #3 and 4 concerns.
