Has anyone tried a third party stylus? Just wondering if the same functionality can be achieved with one that's not OnePlus branded. Ordering one for my Lenovo laptop, so I'll try that when it gets here
I was wondering the same
This one doesn't work with it
Hello,
When I went for demo of device I tried both the active stylus that I had. One robustrion one and one flipkart one. None of them worked
My main work is of stylus only. By corporate discount I am getting tab s8 and oneplus pad (8 gb one) plus stylus at same rate. Hence confused. The main thing is in tab s8 replacement stylus from wacom does work.hence confused between tab s8 vs one plus 12 gb model(expensive by 1 k only)

I managed to loose my S-Pen out of my VZW Note 2 the same day that I got my phone.. Looking for replacements, I noticed that the Note 1 S-Pens can be had for cheaper..
I am not so cheap as to not buy the correct pen if there was a difference, but they look pretty much exactly the same.. And I would like to buy a few if they are the same.
So anyone have both versions of the Note that can fill us in on the differences? Will the Note 1 S-Pen fit into the Note 2? Any other differences?
From a previous posting about Spen pen kits, I believe both function the same but Note 1 and Note 2 pens are different size.
You may still be able to pick up a Note2 pen here for cheap:

if the coupon codes still work. I ordered the pen/eraser combo over the weekend and the coupon code was still valid for 50% off.

Hey all* I am hoing to upgrade my mobile phone and thinking about upgrate to Galaxy S10. So what do you guys think? Buying Galaxy S10 would be a best choice or not? I have seen many people own an S10, was wondering if you had any suggestions for cool* gifts for the S10 owner in your life. Could be anything, cases, screen protectors, any type of accessory...
just looking for ideas here.Let me know in this thread and tell me why your item(s) will make a great gift for any S10 owner! Then I'll decide whether I buy Galaxy S10 or not.
Hi, I had P20 1 year and P30 1 week. I change it for my S10.
This is simply one of the better Android phone at the moment and the better for me. First, S10 plus is better, but I found it too big like the P30 pro.
So I choose S10, perfect to use with one hand and have the best screen possible.
It's a perfect package without too be the very best in anything.
Accessories, I had wireless charger but it's slow, so I don't use it except at night sometimes.

^well said! Enjoy this badboy! Cheers
Best features?!
Remapped bixby button. Enough said. ?
I do have an OtterBox defender and invisible shield though and those are a pretty sweet combo. Galaxy buds are an awesome addition too. Bixby routines makes for some sweet magical happenings.
Hi all I've been a note user since the note 1 lol but cause the note was cancelled this year ive gone for the s21 ultra an I ask
Does the spen pro bring all the features of the regular note series and is they any cases that are able to store the spen or am I better of getting the regular spen and the case of samsung website
Thanks
Also what are your thoughts on the whole note series I personally think samsung are working the note series out and pushing the fold devices in its place
Samsung says they'll be a Note released next year.
I have the Ultra along with the Samsung case that stores the proper S-Pen for the S21 Ultra. It works OK. It doesn't have bluetooth so you can't use it as a remote like you could on the Note. But, it draws on the screen and does all that same stuff as a Note. It just has to be really close to the screen before it does anything. That seems to be good enough for me but still I kind of hope that they don't cancel the Note series outright.

Yeah I thought the remote didn't work. That's actually for me it's most useful feature, a remote shutter release.
That and smart select.
I think it's kinda disappointing and stupid that they made the S-Pen Pro so large. You will have to carry around separately. I doubt I would do so and I doubt many others would as well.
The spen variants are getting complicated...

S Pen vs. S Pen Fold vs. S Pen Pro: What's the Difference?
Samsung now has three (actually, five) styli. Here's how to tell which is which.

I guess the pro variant supports bt shutter release? It does some cool tricks across devices like cut/paste.
The one cool trick it can't do without a dedicated slot is safely nest. Losing and breaking these little wisps is all too easy even with a dedicated slot. So far I've avoided destroying my 10+'s spen but only narrowly.
With no physical tethering you need to keep it on a very short leash...
Hi
Does anyone have a usbc to 3.5 that works with the tablet? ( I have ultra)
I remember in galaxy s10 lite, i had bought 2. The one was expensive from Samsung. Neither worked. Samsung is doing something, i don't remember exactly but it has a microchip in the adapter in order to work. So it needs a specific one, from Samsung. I don't know which one will work in ultra, but it's going to be difficult to find out. It needs to be from Samsung.
Just grab the Google one it will be fine
This cheap adapter from Amazon works with my Tab S8 perfectly:

You need one with DAC.
I also have another adapter that came with Xiaomi Pad 5 pro, but it didn't work with my Samsung Tab S8. The one above works with my Xiaomi and OnePlus.
Does anyone use the S Pen Pro with their Tab S8 Series tablet?
I'm using a Tab S8 Plus.
I'd like to understand what about the S Pen Pro is worth an additional $80 over the S Pen that comes for "free" in the box with the tablet.
I'm not a heavy S Pen user; I use it mostly as a stylus for navigating apps and playing games. What are the advantages for the Pro version? Is it worth $80?
Thanks,
Joe
Samsung S Pen Pro vs S Pen: Which stylus should you buy?

Thanks, I have seen this article. I was hoping to hear about "real life experiences" / actual use.
One thing I'd really like to do is be able to use the S Pen button like a mouse button -- specifically to page forward in Moon Plus Reader. I haven't figured a way to do that with the standard S Pen. Might it be possible with the Pro?
I've also seen people mention that the Pro feels better in the hand because of its greater size and weight. But they were usually in comparison to S Pens on stylus-enabled phones. Is it true compared to the Tab S8 series pens?
Any other true-life experiences using the Pro?
Thanks,
Joe

They are the same but different sizes , and the Spen pro can automatically switch between different devices + it has a mode to work on Galaxy fold , So if you don't have a galaxy Fold , just stay with your Galaxy tab Pen ,nothing really different
