Baseband version and IMEI unknown on Redmi Note 9 - Redmi Note 9 Questions & Answers

A while ago while I was trying to fix my phone when it was bricked, I used a tool that screwed up my baseband version and IMEI numbers. I don't have backups of the partitions related to those but I have the IMEI numbers.
When I try to install engineering ROM on the phone it the install fails due to exaid partition not being signed. My phone currently runs LineageOS along with the LineageOS Recovery.

Note 5 N920A Lost Imei Lost Baseband

Hi.
I have Note5 at&t and it has Bootloader.
When I was trying to flash another stock at&t firmware, I've lost my IMEI number. As I learned, in order to get back my IMEI, I have to flash my old firmware, but I didn't memorize my old firmware name. And because of the bootloader, there is no way to learn old firmware's name with the root access. I can't root my device. Is there any solution?
Thank y'all in advance.
hi, i have the same problem, tried to downgrade to marshmallow but got an error, i flashed stock AT&T nougat firmware and now have no imei info or baseband info, i have tried flashing n920aucu4eqk6 and n920aucu4eql1 which are the 2 latest firmware versions but still having same problem...help! please
in case this helps anyone, i managed to solve my issue, i downgraded firmware to a 5.1.1 combination firmware, where the baseband and the imei were still being picked up by the phone, then i reflashed the phone with PK1 marshmallow rom (except i did not flash the CP file), only flashing the BL, AP and CSC files and now the phone is running marshmallow and picking up the imei and baseband information and can make calls and send text and picture messages.
thank you

Hi,
Thanks for reply . i have done both still IMEI is 000000000000.
Bump
Any help will be highly appriciated
Believe you can't do anything about it, if you don't have an EFS backup, you can't "recover" the IMEI, Serial #, etc. You can probably use this and change the IMEI to a screenshot of your own IMEI, but I am not entirely sure if it works or not.
Hope this might help.

Uknown Baseband - Can't downgrade modem to repair IMEI

I'm using a Galaxy M20 (m205f). Trying to root it, I somehow messed up the radio and efs partitions. Tried to install the latest stock Rom and it updated the binary from U4 to U7 with a null IMEI and unknown baseband. The IMEI repair softwares need the modem and the modem version presently is of U7 binary which is pretty recent and no IMEI repair tool supports this modem version yet. Is there any way I can downgrade the modem? There's no lower Android version and no combination file for the U7 binary on the internet so I'm stuck. Can I somehow put an older CP/Modem (from lower binaries) and make it work with the latest firmware?

IMEI only working with custom ROMs.

I have the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 (SM-G611F, on7xreflte). I've been flashing some ROMs recently and decided to go to stock. I noticed that my signal wasn't there, so I checked my IMEI. It was unknown. The thing is, if I flash a custom one, IMEI is back. Only stock ROM says my IMEI is unknown (including the baseband version).
Stock ROM Details:
Android: 9.0
One UI: 1.1
Binary Version: 3
I flashed the right CSC tens of times already.
Currently I'm on full stock, no root whatsoever. But I can root and flash TWRP as well if needed.
