I have been an avid xda reader, but never really made an account. I am excited to contribute in whatever ways I can. I love android customizations and modding.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hi. I've been viewing this site for quite some time and it's really helped me learn a lot more about android and has gotten me into messing with my phone. My first phone was a G1 and that really got me into the android world. I'm now using a Nexus One that I just recently rooted and flashed with a great deal of information I found here. So, thanks to everyone here for that. Anyway, enough rambling. I look forward to hopefully helping out the same way I've been helped. Thanks again everyone!

XDA Has always been a fantastic community for developers, and non developers alike. Recently, as many of you may have noticed, the gap between our esteemed developers, and our massive user base has been widening. XDA-University helps immensely to bridge that gap by allowing our users to start on the path to being developers themselves. Many of our tutorials focus on the basic aspects of theming and modifying the software on our devices. It seems, however, that there are not so many tutorials on the actual basics of programming. Why don't I just send you all to MIT to learn... For Free.
MIT has opened up the content of their courses for free on the web. Check it out here: CLICK ME!
When I look for something related to programming I often bump on MIT videos.
The last one was on skip lists
This is awesome! I've never heard of this!
I agree with you xda is the one of the best forum for the windows and android phone user.
