now i have mi9 with broken screen touch is dead too , my files on the mi9 is very important for me and unfortunately usb debugging is off
so any ideas how i can bring the files back ??

HI I know with the title of my thread its a nooby ques but my situation is different,
Since few days my phone was charging but not connecting to pc
as I know its a port issue because tried it on 3 pc's
Before I thought it's and rom issue I flash a different rom and got bootloop
Now I cant connect to pc no rom in sd
How do I flash it? I can go to twrp but I cant transfer from adb because port isnot working
I have a ques that really my por is damaged? Its only the isse?
because I cant get net port at my place and the shop man told me it could b an issue of motherboard too?
Can someone plz help me I am afraid and I cant afford motherboard for now..

Are you using the original USB cable? There are some usb cable that will only provide power and no data connection. So make sure you have a data cable first. Then check you have the latest HTC drivers installed on your computer, make sure you don't have HTC Sync installed, that you are using a USB 2.0 port directly at the back of your PC (no external hub). What is your TWRP version, your Windows version and your Bootloader version?

Have tried all recovery is twrp 2.8.7.0
Nd usb is original I use the same for my Xperia z2 for flashing...
Drivers are installed with signature enforcement disables on 8.1 windows
But all was working fine suddenly I got this issue..
What could be done
What is your hboot version
Can you get fastboot connectivity when in bootloader?
Can you get adb connectivity when in custom recovery or when booted in the ROM with USB debugging turned on?
Also worth mentioning that you won't get connectivity if your phone is on the lock screen, you must unlock the screen at least once when connected to the computer.
Otherwise if its the usb port, it can easily be replaced, you only need to remove the cover you then have access to the small usb/front mic board and can replace it without further dismantling. The usb board is pretty cheap, you can find it on amazon, ebay and probably any other website of that kind.

I've got a very tricky problem right here.
I've got a HTC Desire D626ph phone and trying to rescue my data which was not on SD card.
USB Debugging is not enabled and my screen is broken / you can see everything but it is not
possible to do something, the touch does not work.
OTG seems not to work with this type of phone.
root / custom recovery was not made.
Is there a possibility to rescue something without replacing the display?
My screen is broken of my huawei mate 20 lite. Unfortunately my holiday pictures are on this device.
Is it possible to save them?
I already tried/checked:
- Google back-up: they aren't there.
- Huawei back-up: they aren't there.
- Connecting the devide to my computer: it doesn't recognize it because it is locked.
if you don't have android debugging enabled, I don't think there is a way to get at them (except for replacing your screen)..if you have android debugging, there are several apps you can push to the phone in recovery mode that let you mirror the display on your PC, which would help you solve your issues..

I have MI5 with completely destroyed screen, so touch is not working and there is no picture. USB debugging mode is NOT enabled. Bootloader is unlocked, but phone is not rooted. I need to recover mostly pictures from it. I could use PC but I need to select "transfer files" option, which I can't due to broken screen (phone stays in 'charging mode'). Any suggestions what I can do? I have OTG cable and I tried booting to recovery and do something from there but seems the phone doesn't want to go there (it's possible that volume keys are not working).
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I was wondering if someone can upload a screenshot of mi 8 screen when connecting it with usb to pc?
I want to at least extract the photos, but I need to enable access to pc when connecting it to pc, but screen is black.
I have miui 10, and debugging is on.
Is there a way to maybe cast the phone to my tv?. touch is working, but I obviusly cant get\dont know hot enable wirlesss casting since screen is black so I dont know what im pressing.

maybe in recovery mode? I think TWRP has file transfer or at least ADB enabled by default. Don't know about xiaomi recovery, but you could try
Go twrp recovery connect to pc you will get your storage phone stuff all inside copy what you want.
