I have unlocked bootloader in my sony xperia 1 ii and installed Custom EU rom from sony xperfirm and installed it. Now getting no sim card. I reverted back to SOG01 OS but still getting the same problem. I tried with airtel, jio, bsnl before custom rom atleast signal was coming now sim is inserted but not recognised.
Please help me with this. I’m from India (Tamilnadu). If anyone can fix this i will come to you and pay you.

First sorry for some bad english...
A few months ago i unlocked my x8 bootloader and used custom kernels / roms without any problem... Now I have the need to have my x8 sim unlocked... I tried another SIM and he run but without network signal. I used then SE Pc companion to restore it to factory in order to use PLASMA S TOOL to unlock it. It went good. Now, after a few days I cant wait to use custom kernels again, but i have some questions...
S1 tool gives the information "RUNNING S1_EROM VER "r8A029"", but in the end "NOT RECOGNIZED SIM LOCK CERTIFICATE".
Is bootloader unlocked?
Is there a chance of the phone become SIM locked again?
Thanks in advance...

Kernel uploaded without problem and phone continued SIM unlocked... :good:
thanks...
previously i was on stock .290 rom with unlocked bootloader. i decided to update and first installed ihackers rom and also flashed doomkernel and then after a few days moved to stock .108 via flashtool. uptill then i had no sim card inserted in the phone. now when i insert a regular simcard it is detected and works fine. but when i insert a LTE enabled sim card it is not detected and neither the phone restarts or shows rebooting warning upon removing the sim tray. any suggestions on what could be the problem?
i also had a stuck sim in the phone which i had to remove a bit forcefully and hopefully no damage done or noticed. could that be the reason? although a regular or non lte sim works just fine. is there any way to check?
thanks
any one? help!
Did u flash the right ftf for the c6903 or was for some other model?. Cuz flashing a mis-matched baseband might cause stuff like this.
Hi guys
Just a little bit of a background, my old contract has finished and I wanted to give my phone to my mum in Australia so I flashed their Firmware, here is what I did:
The phone was locked to my network provider and according to a Sony Forum they said that you flash the simlock.ta for phones that are locked to a network.
1. Installed Kingroot and rooted phone.
2. Downloaded the Sony Experia Z1 (C6903) firmware for Australia with XperiFirm_4.8.1
3. Converted the Firmware with Sony Mobile Flasher (FlashTool) to FTF
4. Flashed firmware with unticking the simlock option
5. It asked for using a F?? cript which i said NO to
6. When writing simlock it wanted confirmation to do so, I said yes.
7. Phone restarted and then after setup completed it asked for pin code, immediately after that it asked for puk code, after that it displayed a message saying Sim Unlock Failed
8 . The phone now diplays Invalid card - No Service
9. Followed above with the UK firmware to see if it would fix the problem but still no luck.
10. Downgraded to an old G version of firmware but that got stuck in a boot loop.
10. Ran Sony PC Companion software to repair the phone, which it did, now on the latest firmware again but still No Service.
Please help...

If it doesnt work with the provider it was locked on then it is a hardware defect. I had the same exact problem and I tried every sim card of all major providers here in my country and still it gave me the same message: invalid sim, not service. I contacted Sony support and they had my mainboard replaced within two weeks. That assured me that it is a hardware related problem
Z3 compact unlock bootlader sony official method, flsahtool rom flash after "NO SIM C"
Hi everybody
I had a little accident.
I made several mistakes, I know! I read in a similar prblémát, but the solution is not for me!
I have a Sony Z3 compact device! Hungary T-Mobile network loop! I opened the bootlader the official sony method! It was a success. I wanted to try a different system to the phone, but firmware number is the same, I would have pre-Root rom!
I have not prepared a recovery of the original firmware !!!!!
Since then, no phone sim card enter the message.
I downloaded the firmware factory, but all of them wrote it. T-Mobile firmware costumizated I tried, but it did not help. I tried flashing simlock.ta file, the process is successful, but "no sim" continues! Simlock.ta firmvare part of Hungary costumized that you downloaded the firmware inventory flashtool! Simlock not be opened, but to join the network! t-mobile sim card I use, just open bootloader and root around!
I attach a few photos.
Thank you in advance for your help!

If you look through the Q&A thread there are several people with the same problem as you.
Sony are unique in creating an encrypted partition with unique identifier keys on. I think it catches lots of people out who come from the likes of Samsung & HTC where you can go from new to custom rom in a couple of minutes.
There should be more warnings on Flashtool that what you do can be irreparable.
Hi all
A friend of me asked me to unlock his Sony Xperia Z3+
It is the dual sim version, E6553
It had the Xperia lock and a tried different solutions to unlock it, without any success.
I also asked a friend to experiment.
He couldn't unlock it, but when I got back the phone, it had the single sim software, for E6533. Still locked.
Now I unlocked the phone. I made a reset, I can update the firmware, but I cannot flash the E6553 back.
If I try, I get this error:
ERROR - The bundle does not match the connected device
I tried with older flasher, but I get another error:
INFO - Cannot open bundle. Flash operation canceled
I also tried with Emma, but it says Phone is locked. (I already unlocked bootloader)
Phone works correctly with this firmware, but I want to use it with 2 sim cards.
Please advise.
Best regards,
Janos
