I am trying to remove the heat restrictions that the phone is restriciting me from making videos using the stock app.. it claims the phone is too hot...but other apps work fine.. so what is the best OTHER photo or video app out there for this phone.

Probably one of the gcam variants although they differ and are no substitute, there are no XML files for a lot of them and as such they're no replacement for the OnePlus camera.
You could try some others but you'll have to sacrifice certain features or entire lenses, for reliability I couldn't say use anything but the OnePlus camera, but gcam is more than likely the best alternative (if any)

Have you ever really needed a copy of a document or diagram? Usually the easiest way to do it is to take a quick picture of it with your phone. However, this usually results in poor quality pictures, misaligned text, improper framing etc.
What I propose is an application that corrects these problems like so:

There are two open source tools that do it (http://unpaper.berlios.de/ and http://scantailor.sourceforge.net/ ). I was wondering if these could be ported to Android?
Did you try any of the other "scan" utilities on the market already available? Did you contact the dev's of those applications and see if they are working on a port or would be interested.
I can't find any scan utilities on Market... Do you have any names?
try Scan2PDF

So I received my OnePlus Cardboard in the mail a few days ago, and it is working great. Use it with my G4, and its really good with it's 538-ppi display. Love the folding feature, the coating, etc. It's an all around good device (Forgiving the squeaking noise it sometimes makes when you press the button on the side). But its blurry to the point it will give you headaches in seconds. I did find a QR code to configure the Cardboard app for the OnePlus One, but nada for anything else. So, I made a custom config with Google's Viewer Profile Generator.

I and a group of friends are trying to develop an app similar to that of Google's Cardboard Camera. What we want to do is sort of copy the Cardboard Camera app but without the camera module, only selecting from a gallery of panorama images (created with Cardboard Camera) and then viewing them.
Basically we want to recreate the following:

}
Our problems is where to begin since we are actually beginners in android development. We downloaded the Treasure Hunt demo from Google but we don't know what to do after that. Can anyone point us or maybe guide us as to how?
I would love to mess around with cardboard. But as a beginner, i'm too afraid to even look.
If you have a demo, mess with it. Take stuff out, put stuff in, try to add a feature. Don't skimp though, it's the little details that usually count the most.

The P40 Pro strikes a balance between refresh rate and resolution. It stands out from its competitor, which only focuses on one side. Its battery life is still very good when using the 90Hz display.
In terms of software, AppGallery has made remarkable progress. WhatsApp, Facebook, and Snapchat can now be downloaded in the AppGallery. Phone Clone ends up being able to solve most problems related to the absence of Google Apps. Watch the video to see SuperSaf's full experience with the phone, after a week of use.
