I somehow found this in the net and tried on my Hammerhead. Work pretty well. Hope this work for you.

Is there any navbar customisation on this ROM? Also, do I flash ROM, Gapps, and Magisk all together or do I have to reboot recovery after flashing ROM to install Gapps?

My experience with it is flash ROM + GAPP. Reboot and setup, then Magisk.
It work pretty smoothly.
