Any news on when/if the Marshmallow update comes to H811 T-Mobile?
The tmo support site has it listed as "Manufacturer Development", so it means that tmo have probably just received the update or are working on it. Click here if you want to check it out. I remember last year the G3 being "In Development" around March 2015, so I am guessing around then if not sooner.

All I got from that thread was a bunch of users speculating when, why, and who was the cause for the update not being released yet. I saw nothing from any T-Mobile rep giving any info or blaming LG. All the accusations I saw came from users in that thread.
I think some of those users have their facts wrong about the Wi-Fi calling issue, that was the G3 when it first got updated to Lollipop 5.0.1 that was causing a problem for some users, I was one of those users, but T-Mobile never blamed LG.
I'd rather they take time and get the bugs worked out and put out a fully working update rather than put out a half assed update that could and/or would screw our phones.

just got off the phone with telus they said 2.2 froyo is in beta right now and that it will come around the same time the droid gets it or shortly after rep said in july
now maybe someone over there would be nice enough to let a leak find its way over here

Don't take their words with anything less than a big pile of salt.
I talked to my area telus rep in person today, he told me that he has no news on the milestone 2.2 update, and he had a LOT of news.
i spoke to tech support so they know more than the reps the reps only know of things through memos tech support test stuff big diff there
Well, i think we should just wait for it, i'm 99% sure it will eventually come... what i'm more worried about is the ginger3.0 update, it seems to be a much bigger deal, improving the UI.
My guess is we will have to hope for those kexec guys to be successful, since i doubt motorola will roll an official update...

That's what you think. Our rep quotes a 4 digit employee number and has the phone reps eating out of his hands. He's privy to a lot more info than a phone tech I'm sure
well i will see u here back in july and we will see
AND I HOPE SOMEONE CAN FIND A WAY TO BYPASS BOOTLOADER ah crap caps lol
kexec looks like it might do it they have made some progress but u its not stable stupid moto why did u lock it

hmmm i stll say we get it in july ahhh this is when i miss my htc then i remember the keyboard on my milestone
hmmmm the leak is starting to look real good ..........to be continued
I imagine all the Milestone/Milestone XT7xx carriers got Froyo code drops from Motorola this week for testing, not just Telus. We already know that Verizon is testing it on the Droid.
And yeah, I expect a leaked ROM to come out soon, though the first will probably be for the EMEA phones if I were a betting man.
Well. But. We need to root it!
Apart from the jokes... I'm hoping for a Froyo leak...

Is there going to be a sub-forum setup for the Verizon One that is supposed to be released on 15 August? (was August 1)
Hopefully so that the Verizon users don't clutter with their unable to unlock boot loader, my phone has bulk load of Verizon crap, my phone looks ugly with that big ugly Verizon logo, when can we get root, when we can get 4.2.2 update and so on..

Your source, or the official HTC G+ account posted two days ago?
https://plus.google.com/u/0/105983594520322058171/posts/StHTgxF2B59
Edit: sorry, after I read it, it sounded kinda snarky which I didn't mean to. But it did make me chuckle. So, basically I'm just confirming what you heard with a second and official source.

NBD. I heard it the day earlier and didn't know about the announcement. He told me what turned out to be an hour before the twitter announcement. Stupid work gets in the way from posting on here.
Now... just need to decide if i want it. The good news for me is my upgrade date isn't until the 30th, so I'll be able to follow posts here on hackability of the verizon version and hit the store to check it out. I might buy it from the Dell mobility site. They are throwing in the $99 dre beat headphones which I don't care about but I figure by the time I buy, maybe it will be a google play or dell gift card.
So how do we go about getting an HTC One Verizon forum?
So the VZW One was released today. Is it getting a forum or not?

Thank you. You are absolutely right. I just typed "One" in the "Type to find your device" section and I got this one. Shame on me for not thinking that a separate section would exist.

Best way to find new forums is to click Newest Devices on the forum home page. Newest will be first.
FYI for anyone still wondering.... I just received this reply from HTC's VP of Product Management on Twitter. I asked him when the Sprint M7 will get 4.4.3. Looks like we get to wait for L.
"@TheRhob Hi Robert, we're going to go straight to L release. Thanks."

I hope this is true. I was thinking that we'd get shafted because the phone is almost 2 years old.

Thanks for that. I must have missed that post! I know there were still some posts in September suggesting that there was a possibility we were getting 4.4.3 so I didn't think it hurt to clarify once again.

Yeah, I'm sure the mass from the site aren't going to be happy about it. I haven't rooted a phone in a while, just don't have the time to do it anymore. But it sucks, for sure.
Chainfire already has established and released root on L. From what I've seen in the n5 forums.

Read some threads.... The informationis out there, there are better alternatives.
I have never seen a device be abandoned so much.. I'm not going to write everything I've already written again because people won't be bothered to look themselves, the info is there, have a look.

Abandoned by developers...100% true... Not only that but oppo/oneplus are locking these devices down. Unlocking the bootloader on the 10T is already an issue.
Think it's you who's confused pal

They're mostly referring to the fact that OnePlus, once developer-friendly, has reversed that stance and with every flagship phone, has found more and more new and exciting ways to make developers' lives a living hell. Hence, no developer support. Meanwhile, OP releases updates that only seem to break things more than anything else. Buyer beware, as they say.
