Tytn II as low as $330 or scam!?

I was browsing, and my eye got on these vflyer listings, they are offering tytn II from 300-550 dollars. they seem kind of weird. do you think it's a scam?!

the cheapest ive seen so far anywhere in the xda store here. get the discount club for $35 i think it is and you get the Kaiser unlocked for $718 total with the membership and discount. really good deal at $720.
cheapest ive seen anywhere else is $750 and you get free shipping here too. im thinking bout ordering

kaiser 110 - rear camera only

100 = no camera
110 = Back Camera
120 = Front and Back Camera.
now wonder they're so cheap...

The Western Union thing sounds shakey but he says he's in Florida and tried to call me on the phone although no one was there. Hopefully he's not using the phone he wants to sell me. LOL
Any more thoughts? I can't find any posts about how this is a known scam other than this post.

Well, I warned you. I'm not sure how clearer I can be.
They (and others like them) post the same junk here on a constant basis. Some have fallen for it and, surprise, they've lost their money.
No offense, but just use some common sense. Do you really think any company can sell merchandise for way below cost? Where's the profit?

Sure way to determine if the guy is a scam is see if he's willing to take a credit card for payment or anything other than Western Union.
The scammers know Western Union is their only way to steal.

Yep, ask them if they accept paypal or not, because only paypal has money back guarantee!

so he said that they are the ones with BOTH cameras... that would be cool..
see if you can find out where in FL,if he will give you an adress i'll try to drive over and make sure its for real, if it is i would be buying one and i could pick yours up and ship it for you so theres no chance of a scam.

Best Kaiser Vendor?

Like many of you, I'm planning on buying an unlocked Kaiser. I'm hoping to create a thread packed with info about vendors, warranties, prices, etc. Bundled software is also a big issue--there are reports of Kaisers sans TomTom and I want to avoid that if possible.

I got my K-Jam from Mad Monkey Boy. Top notch seller. No complaints here and he kept us up to date constantly from distribution in Asia to his door.
I bought my Kaiser from XDA. Can't beat $680 and free shipping. Richard has answered every email promptly and professionally. If you're a frequent user of this site, this is my recommended way to go.

Stan the owner response to emails/Google Talk almost 24/7 and his prices are low WITH price match....

On order from XDA Store. Richard is prompt in responding to emails, and apologizes when he isn't.
The only problem with XDA Store is that in-stock indication can sometimes be inaccurate.

When you say XDA I'm assuming that you mean this site. The price is currently around $800, how did you get such a great deal?

I found this one OK, with good prices both in auctions and 'buy it now'. Any experiences (positive/negative) from this vendor?

You need to have a discount club membership - so in the end it actually comes out to $720. $680 for the phone, $40 for the club membership.

Superior Gadgets here. Was fast, shipping was upgraded free, he included car charger as well as screen protector. Tom Tom was not in the box but he provided me with a private link to download it.

I for one can vouch for egadgetdepot, bought my TyTN from there and now planning to get the kaiser. Stan does provide amazing customer service. He helped me get the screen issue get fixed all the way.

I used Superior Gadgets as well, Paul was very polite and communicated thru the whole process. I got the english version with TomTom, I did NOT get the car charger and screen protector. Paul said they were just comming in but they have never shipped as far as I know, that was a few weeks ago.

I purchased two Kaiser units fom store.xda-developers.com
They shipped relatively quick, at a very competitive price and arrived in good order.
They are having some startup pains, some accesories did not ship, and the in stock status was not up to the minute.
However Richard in their customer support has been very responsive and has quickly addressed every issue. When they get all the kinks resolved, they will be even better. I would not hesitate to purchase from them.

I can tell you who isn't a very good vendor to buy from and that is Elite Electronix. I bought my Kaiser and a 4 Gb SD card from them a month ago, Aug 31st to be exact, and I still have yet to recieve the SD card. Every time I email them to ask about the status of my order I have to email them at least 3 times to get a response out of them. The only good thing about them so far is that since I didn't get my kaiser on the first round they sent it next day shipping when their second batch came in.

This is just to inform you all that this phone is now sold since I have just purchased it on ebay.
This will be my second Kaiser, and I have to admit that I am very happy with it. I had a Herald before, and the Kaiser is a distinct improvement.

I didn't see that your phone was for sale, and also, although your phone if probably a cheaper offer (if you look at what you are giving with it), I wanted the HTC model not the MDA version because I already have an HTC model myself and I don't want to have two different versions of the same phone.

Maybe you should reduce your price a bit to get more interest. Your Phone is a T-mobile branded TYTN so will not have the look of the original TYTN from HTC Which may put some poeple off a bit.
I recently had the opportunity to purchase a MDA vario 3 for £200 brand-new and never used but my heart was set on an orginal looking one. A week later I managed to get an orange branded one with a HTC replacement battery cover £250.
I'm not saying yours isn't a bad offer. But maybe the price is a bit too much for what it is.
Hope you find luck selling it.

Yep, I have a thread advertising my phone. I'm still waiting for my paypal set up to come through and then I will put in on Ebay. Mine is brand new as well and hasn't even be switched on and comes with all you need.
Good luck with your herald- quite personally I don't see myself purchasing a Windws Mobile phone again in a very long time...

May I ask if you can buy it for this price brand new? I do find it hard to believe that you can purchase a new Diamond for around £290. Who are you purchasing them from? Cuboosh?...
Also, keep in mind that it comes with 4 cases, two of which are the boxwave clear active case and Siedo's case, and two leather cases, Sony Bluetooth headphones in good condition, along with a virtually unused very compact Bluetooth keyboard that I purchased off Expansys for £60/$120.

not to hijack the thread or anything, but just to let you know, that most people dont really care about that stuff. i wouldnt pay extra for a bluetooth keyboard. why would i need it??? hah 4 cases??!!! one is more than enough. just letting you know why you're having problems selling it so far. maybe try selling that stuff separately??

I think this is the same as any other headphone splitter. It's essentially just a 3.5mm jack splitter. I'd look for that and purchase one. As far as I can see this is nothing special?

It's not a regular headphone splitter. The one he needs has to have the Mic contact as well.

A quick google turned up a bunch of similar products. Maybe give one of these a try?

If you would have ordered the Rockit when you found the webshop you would already have had it. Why didnt you? I made a fake account with Egypt as the shipping address and there was no problem adding it to the shopping cart and checking out. It seems like a simple device, have you checked out local, big electronic/audio stores?
I order stuff from china with the cheapest shipping to Europe sometimes and its here after... maybe 20 days. I usually forget that I ordered it and get a pleasant surprise when it gets here.
