Is there ANY chance to use WM5 with ActiveSync 3.8 or lower version :?:
At home I have Windows XP SP2 and I can install AS 4.1 or whatever we need. In office it is XP SP1 only. The PC cant be upgraded. So, is it possible to sync WM5 devices with pc running Windows XP SP1????
Any help / hack would be appretiated.
The answer is NO ... so far I know... WM 5 is only work with Activesync 4.0 ....
I wish, there is some HACk. Else, I will have to literally watch the TuMa 1.4, 1.5..... 2.0 etc etc releasing and me remaining in the crappy WM 2003 SE
Do you know how to configure that an external keyboard could use locale caracters?
I have tunned my Athena and using WM 6.1 english it has now the keyboard using local caracters, but don''t know how to obtain the keyboard usb could work same.
... I've asked HTC about this. They will only supply a keyboard-driver with US-layout.
But if anyone has a solution to this problem, it would be excellent!
??????????????
Unless Microsoft unveils a smartphone version of Windows mobile 6.5, or we get cursor technology to use as a mouse if someone ports 6.5 to the Dash, we're out of luck. I doubt the Dash's hardware can even handle 6.5.

I'm looking for some utility, which would create a virtual serial port on "new" GDP port in Windows Mobile 6.5. I'd like to use older GPS application, where is no support for GDP port.
My friend tested GpsGate and he's very disappointed, because there was huge battery consummation even if GPS is not used. I tried to google it, but I found nothing useful :-(
Thanks a lot
