Hi
A friend of mine got a Q9090 and want to resuce mine by sending me its ROM (we both got a French Q9090)
He cannot access to the boot loader by either doing this
POWER+DPad+RESET
nor buy doing this
Power+DPad+Green+Red+Reset
Any suggestions?

I've got a pro2 (gsm ,non-customized version)recently,and tried to flash the "hard-spl" for it .
first,I used "Rhodium-HardSPL_V1_20R2" for unlocking .but when I executed it,my phone got nothing changed(thoerically,the screen should be changed into black)
so, I used "sspl-manu" for unlocking,but the screen stuck and had no respone.
eventually, I tried using Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3, an error shown up that "Hard-SPL is for non-commercial purposes only, we have detected that you appear to already have unlocked a device, if you wish to unlock commercially , please e-mail [email protected] .com to discuss solutions"
here are my qustion
1,what' wrong with my phone and how to solve ?
2, does the error mean :I never be able to have my phone unlock for free?
3,can I flash the energy rom by sd card ,if the phone have not hard-spl?
P.S I've got net framework 3.5 and activesync4.5 on my pc
If you go into bootloader mode, what text is shown onscreen over the coloured bars?
(to go into the bootloader mode, hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons whilst soft resetting)

just switch off ur phone and press volume up + volume down + home key + power on button together till ur phone start................................now ur phone reset...........if this doesn't work for u then go into download mode and reflash rom.....................................

How can one check to verify that his device was unlocked?
Other than putting different operator's SIM card in the phone.

the only way to unlock (sim unlock) is if u buy online code, it costs around 10€ . there is no other way for our device unfortunately.

i have got a problem with my Samsung galaxy gt-i9000, my little bro creat gmail account and creat a pattern lock , now he forget his gmail account even his gmail id to and my mob is locked by pattern . after trying so many attamps it ask for my gmail account and pass for pass reset , i try many methods explain in different forms, hard reset is not possible as i cant inter into the recovery and i cant change my firmware cause cant inter into the download mode. i read a post in here which is about the hard reset key on the back in between the cam and speakers but i cant find it there is only a sign of button but not really a button.i try the call method , try the home and emergency method mentioned in different forms , and am very sad now my only hope is here on xda. i cant go to service center cause the mobile is send by brother from England and am in Nepal .
Help please here is alot of senior members and alot of developers

Why can't you get into recovery? Isn't it just a simple reset and the 3 button combo? or am I missing something here?
If you can get into recovery then you can wipe data/factory reset. So focus on getting into recovery somehow.
I just don't understand why you can't enter recovery mode unless you haven't got CWM installed...
Hello. Want root my device without unlock bootloader but cant because on the step where i must press vol up+power i dont have vibration. This problem have others users too.

May not vibrate, but should have a message on your screen saying something like "super user..."

I have the same problem .
I want to root my razr i (because of several notification ads) but I can't. I can't unlock the bootloader via the motorola web page ("your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking"). So I have to use motofail2go.
Everything is fine until "trigger a bug report"... Nothing happens when I press both power and volume up buttons... So the root doesn't success.
I accepted a few days ago the update 81.5.40002.XT890.Retail.en.EU
Can you help me plz ?

They probably patched the root.

I tried again with motorola website. I put the same key and I didn't get any error message this time, so I was able to unlock the bootloader. And my phone is rooted now with your package. I don't understand why but it's OK now

You can't root 40002 with motofail2go as far as know.
I tried it about one hour and it's definitely not possible to root the 39002 and 40002 without unlocking the BL. No one here in Germany was able to root this Updates without unlocking.
And BTW: If you're locked, DON'T try to downgrade with RSD. You will fail!
Hi guys,
We got a Galaxy Tab 10.1 donated to us at our shop. The owner is deceased and they no longer had a use for it.
I was trying to do a hard reset on it but Power + VolumeUp does not work (I can get into Download mode, however, with VolDown + Power)
The tablet has a google account on it. It seems that even with a hard reset, I was told that a google account would still be needed to unlock it?
Anyhow, the question is, is there any way around this, or will I be able to load a custom rom in Download mode to bypass this and set it up as a new tablet?
