HI anyone
I have used the extend rom unlock software download which works for XDAII before but not work for my XDA IIs - saying somekind of errors...
Can anyone teach me how to unlock it?

Thanks for your file. Do I need to reset everytime unlock and lock? (this is the case I noted)
reset is only necessary after unhide/hide.
Not after lock/unlock

Your program doesn't seem to work on mine. Still asks me for a network simlock code!

I have tested twice, you need to reset for lock and unlock. Different from XDA II.
May be you can try this see if it works. The program from M4io work great.
I think i got confused. I wanted to unlock my XDA iis so I can use a non-O2 sim.
It seems this tool is for something else and I have no idea what it's for. I just got excited that it could unlock my precious XDA iis!

I have upgraded my i-mate PDA2K with de file (from i-mate web site) RUU172126WWE_imate.exe ,but I had problem with the phone ,it shuted down,and I couldn't turn it on , the black i-mate screen showed v2.02 and sometime nothing !!!so I decided to re-install de update file. This second update process stops with "ERROR 105 – this update is not desigtned for your dvice".i tried many times with no success at all, always the same ERROR 101.connection error... the power light is red!!!
Could anybody help me to fix this error? I would like to upgrade to the latest version and get my PDA up and everything running. plzzzz help me

Try using a rom that is for your device for all others will turn your phone into a paper wheight as you have noticed.
you need to download a rom that is from your carrier and start again.

Download a rom that is from your carrirer and your device, ( You say its a I-mate) you also say you are in france and I know of no frensh roms.
As you are stuck in bootloader, run the ship.exe as is, it should find the device.
Look nobody can help you if you tell us nothing. What do you mean by card. Have you read anything in wiki ?

i am also stuck in bootloader and sysnc cant detect my xda. i hav tried upgrade from nb1 file from mda but getting section 3 error upgrade not allowed. i need xda IIs nb1 file to use xda card boot. can anyone help me and put his xda IIs rom on ftp or pm me.

We really need more info. This is like asking to a mechanic: My car is broken, can you replace the engine...
So: What PDA do you have, what ROM versions installed, what version did you try to install, etc. etc.
But more importantly, have you read wiki?

i tried to install o2 rom 1.31 and previously there was 1.06. bootloader is v 2.06. now when i switch it on it is in serial mode. i hav tried to install shiped roms but no one detects my pda on sysncronous. i hav tried to use mda III rom using sd card but it says section 3 upgrade not alowed. tried o2 himaliye nb1 file it says trying himaliya upgrade on blueangle not alowed. this means i need nb1 file of XDA IIs. thanks

Of course not my friend....the tool u have is just to unlock the EXT ROM....
Go there(click the link),u will find another itsme tool(when it comes to unlocking,it's always itsme....he's the best :wink: )..

so that means you can unlock a xda that has a contract right, cause where i live if u get a phone with a contract on it u cant use another sim card in it, i want to get rid of that so i can???
No, this is a different story.
In my case the Extended ROM is locked and you have a SIMlock on your device. But I am sure you will find a solution in this Board.

The tool by itsme (The xda unlock all tool) will remove the lock that stops you from using a different network.
Ie ... Your phone is locked to O2 network UK, use the tool to unlock the phone so you can use an Orange network UK sim card instead.

erm.. i have just got hold of a alpine/2020i, but this program wont run on it.
edit....
the 1.6 version found at the wiki runs perfectly, but the 1.6.138 keeps saying "this is not a valid pocket pc aplication"
I have tried downloading the latest version of this tool xdadev_all_unlock-v1.6.exe when I run it on my O2 XDA 2i as described it comes up with an error, see error log.
When I read the error log it says:
simlock answer invalid simlock answer.
error getting current lock status
xdadev_all_unlock failed
ril ioct 0xc2: 00000000
ril ioct 0xc6: 00000000
I tryed resetting my XDA but the same thing happens.
Any ideas.
NB this is an 02 phone I had on contract until about six months ago, but I cancelled the contract. It hasn't been used as a phone since. I am keen to use it abroad with a foreign sim.
Of the two progs referenced in the itsme post i have had more luck with the earlier version. v1.6.38 failed to unlock two XDA IIi but he v1.5 was successful in both cases

My Mates Had this PDA (O2 XDA IIi) for a few years now and gave it me the other month. In all that time, he didn't manage to unlock it. A friend I sat talking to the other day referred me to this site, and within 5 minutes of looking from the gogle link, I've managed to get it unlocked!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a mint piece of software! A definite must het for anyone who doesn't usually use O2 as their main network. (or any network for that matter! LOL!)

This thread is a getting bit old but I'd like to add my thanks to all those (itsme, I think) that contributed to the xdadev all unlock and to reassure those that follow me that it is one of these things that just works!
I put the program on a SD card plugged it into my O2 XDAlli and ran it. Instant results no messing!

i just bought a second hand XDA IIi, but something was wrong.my storage was locked.i cannot delete or save files in the storage.anybody know why?? please help me to solve this problem..is that any program can unlocked my storage?where can i get it....thanks
BlueAngel_DOC_Resize.exe works on Alpine! Unzip it and copy to device!
Put in 63000 value and get 61.0 meg usable storage n it unlock it too....

I have a question about the program you posted. Does it unlock the extended ROM? It doesn't does it? It only unlocks the ROM labeled "Storage" right?

I'm trying to unlock my xda 3 extended rom for days now . I managed to download the unlock tool from this site. Wasn't that easy because i was getting a 550 unable to change directory error every time.
Now I have the Extrom tools on my XDA 3 but when trying to unlock i get an error message saying unlockextrom (...) could not be found. please check...
file name, install path, liberys.. .. some thing like that.
what can i do now? I really would love to replace some cabs from my extrom.
