:shock: Are you serious?! :shock:
Ok..
1. You move that thing on your desk that has two (or more) buttons on it around.
2. Keep doing this until the little white arrow moving around on your screen is over the picture.
3. Then, you put your finger on the button on the right side of the thing. (Called a "Mouse" by the way..)
and press it downwards.
4. This will produce a greyish box with several lines of text on it.
5. You then move the mouse until the arrow is over the line of text that says "Save Picture As"
6. Then move your finger to the left side of the mouse, and press your finger down over that button.
Seriously.. Right click, and save the picture..
It isn't that hard..
If you hadn't gone to such effort I'd have thought you were taking the piss!!!!
Seriously, I wasn't sure if it could be saved as a pic....but it obviously can!
Thanks mate
HPJ
PS so that's what the mouse is...!!!..
PPS I think I may have asked even stupider questions in the past...then again if you don't know and you don't ask you don't get.!

Wow.. Today must be my day..
First, I correct JD "Illiad" Frazer, and then Rudegar.. :shock:
@HPJ and Rudegar,
If you are working unser Windows XP, you can just put the mouse over the picture and then a small floppy disk icon will appear on the left top corner of the picture. Press and voila!
Flashes don't do that... However, you can still get the flash file from the Internet Temporary Files!!! (but that's another story) :wink:

Does anyone have a CAB to make WM5 have the glossy bars (top and bottom) like WM6?
Thanx.
not that i know off only way is to install wisbar or someother whole gui change program
So, the only "OS" way around it would be to move to a WM6 flavor?
Thanx.
Here it is, but it was super easy to find in a search.
Well, yes, I located that with the "super easy search" as well. However, it is not working on WM5.
Thanx.
Oh Okay. Did you put the uzipped .exe file in your Windows/startup folder, then soft reset?
What happens when you do that?
Yes.
I copied the "Glossy Black Bars.exe" to my "\Windows\Startup" folder.
Unfortunately, as you'll see by the screen shot below, I only have dark grey bars and without the "3-D" look of WM6.
Thanx.

The glossy look is a feature built in on WM6, it has nothing to do with .tsk theme files.
You can get here a program that emulates it, but it only works right if you have cleartype disabled...
http://mobile-comm.blogspot.com/2007/11/change-wm5-bar-to-wm6-glossy-bar.html
Cool...I'll try it and let ya know.
Thanx.
Well, we're definitely 50% closer with this one. It is only working on the top bar though.
Thanx.
Here is a file if just want to remove your contacts bar. Just put the .exe file in your Windows/startup folder.

Well, for starters, you DON'T open a new thread about the same old thing. You reply to the OTHER thread you started and ask for help.
By doing it in this manner you keep the forums clean and easier to use for those members that care to use the search button and for those that care to read before they decide to just go and tear into their machine before researching.
its not the "same old thing"
The other thread was about the actual PTT Program on the phone...This is about my messed up registry and the PTT Button, there is a difference there bud.
No, there is not really a difference.
Your messed up registery is due to what you did in the OTHER thread.... BUD!
Reply in the other thread so that anyone willing to help a BUD out will know what you did to get this error message!
This thread indicates... OOPPS! WHY AM I GETTING THIS ERROR ALL OF A SUDDEN?
Well, if someone knew that you deleted something out of the registery it will help solve the riddle BUD.
Go to the other thread and ask for help.
ooooo ok sorry

what app did you display the icons at the bottom?
tvos
looks like a bad shortcut. if you are launching that app from the systray, make sure the path to the shortcut is correct. are you using phm traylaunch? if you are, maybe you made a typo when typing in the full path of the app.

I know this is a bit of an odd question, but is there a way to have two different today screens on the Tilt, one for when the keyboard is closed and one for when its open?
I want this because i dont like having to scroll down on the little scroll bar to access the programs below when the key board is open.

is there a program or a setting that could do this?
And to refrain from posting 2 threads, is there a way to schedule your phones ring volume? like every week day from Time A to time B its vibrate and the rest its not?
I think the answer is yes, and yes.
I'm pretty sure the phone uses different pic files when changing resolution upon opening the Tilt. I don't know of a program to set it but I bet there is one. I'm surprised no one has helped on that yet. Hang in there.
There are several programs to set the phone volume at a schedule. This is called a "phone profile". PocketZen Phone and SPB Phone Suite are two examples.
Try a search, see my sig fo link. Good luck.
If you use Resco Picture Viewer and set one picture as a wallpaper when on portrait mode, and then another when you're on landscape mode, you'll get two different wallpapers.
If anyone knows of another method I would like to know aswell.
Cheers
Ok pizzaguy wants 2 diferant screens on slide open and closed. Not only change the wallpaper (background). Well pizzaguy I hope someone can help u because then they would also be helping me.... I want the same thing. Later dude.....
I think the only solution is Wisbar Advance Desktop.
That can create a page for portrait and one for landscape.
There is a program from a company called Netwasp, Thememaker M, that allows you to make WM6 themes with a portrait and landscape Graphic that are different. I'm using it to make themes for my Tilt, and it works great

I use PhoneWeaver from http://www.SBSH.net for this, and love it. I have it set up to be on vibrate during normal business hours, quite after I put my daughter down to bed, silent at night while I'm sleeping, and loud rest of the time. Everything can be completely scheduled based on time/days. You can also set up different alerts for Phone/Mail/SMS/etc. based on these profiles as well. The only issues that I have come across is that it doesn't turn Wifi off correctly, but I think there is a work-around for this.
I have searched for this problem and also tried different camera versions on my Kaiser. The camera button will not activate the camera or take a picture, it will :-
focus in on the item in the picture
make a click when pressed
bring the kaiser out of low backlight when pressed
I have checked the registry setting from a post were the user had a similar problem...
Any ideas anyone
Start -> Settings -> Buttons || Make sure Button 5 is mapped to Camera
I just have to point this out. Congrats Satan.

I was worried about that. As soon as I saw it, I was like "OMG I need to create another post real quick!" But I didn't want to get accused of spamming for the sake of increasing one's post count...
Wait, isn't that what I just did here?!?!?!?!?
I had already checked that button 5 was assigned to Camera, I even assigned it another function and then back to camera. Still not working ! The button is physically working as it clicks and brings the HTC out of low back light, but will not activate camera. Any other ideas...

I know this sounds silly. But press it all the way in. It has two stages this button. Half Press and Full Press.
You are a star Mr Mcgee ! I wasn't pressing the button hard enough, silly me
Thanks
Ive been have trouble for days trying to get my custom docks to load in my theme, but it returns and error whenever I try. Even users I let try out the theme have reported that custom docks return an error. Can anybody please help me? I've followed EVERYTHING the readme file has describes. Here are pics:
I have put 3 custom docks (first red circle) in the res/drawable-hdpi folder with the proper .png name attach as the readme states (second red circle).
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Than the readme states to edit the dock_pack.xml file and add the <item> tags without the .png (red circle).
After I install my theme, and go to Theme Preferences, and go to main dock and choose custom > aeolus hd my docks show up
But no matter which dock I choose, it always returns an erorr and does not attach to my theme,
Can someone, experinced ADW Theme makers PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS?! Im close to just saying **** this
Wow, not a soul lol
I got this. Hold on.
Like I mentioned in our PM.
The providers.
look at your Manifest,
<provider android:name="YOURACTIVITYNAME" android:authorities="YOURACTIVITYNAME.Provider" />
You rocking one of those? If not, that is your problem
If you are, Make sure the YOURACITIVYNAME.Provider is there, because if you JUST have the .Provider, it will not function correctly.. and selecting and image will give you nothing.
if you have that right, and are still having problems, respond some moreeee
