Try using a rom that is for your device for all others will turn your phone into a paper wheight as you have noticed.
you need to download a rom that is from your carrier and start again.

thanx but my problem that i can't connect my pda2k on the cardl!!!the sync can't find it
any one can help me - - there is no service center in france!!
Download a rom that is from your carrirer and your device, ( You say its a I-mate) you also say you are in france and I know of no frensh roms.
As you are stuck in bootloader, run the ship.exe as is, it should find the device.
Look nobody can help you if you tell us nothing. What do you mean by card. Have you read anything in wiki ?

We really need more info. This is like asking to a mechanic: My car is broken, can you replace the engine...
So: What PDA do you have, what ROM versions installed, what version did you try to install, etc. etc.
But more importantly, have you read wiki?
Follow the link in my sig...it's all there.
i tried to install o2 rom 1.31 and previously there was 1.06. bootloader is v 2.06. now when i switch it on it is in serial mode. i hav tried to install shiped roms but no one detects my pda on sysncronous. i hav tried to use mda III rom using sd card but it says section 3 upgrade not alowed. tried o2 himaliye nb1 file it says trying himaliya upgrade on blueangle not alowed. this means i need nb1 file of XDA IIs. thanks
I've just upgraded my brand new T-Mob compact II (alias Charmer), but mixed up the ROM with a Wizard one. The device still boots up, but only if connected to external power - the internal battery doesn't get recognized anymore, and the usb charging doesn't work either. I.e., I cannot attach the unit to the usb port for running the correct rom update anymore. *Panic*
The only solution that I see is to revert from an SD card image.
:?: PLEASE - I know that this is a tough question for a nice summer day - can anybody please upload a SD Card image from a Charmer device? :?:
1000000 *thanks* for any help !!!
Have you tried getting the original ROM from the ftp and use aWizard to flash the bad rom .. ?
Does anybody know if I can upgrade my HTC Wizard ROM to WM6 using my SD card? My USB port was broken and I am unable to connect USB to ActiveSync. I have seen a thread to do that using XDATools but I could not do it. Would you please help me to do flash my ROM using SD Card? Thanks.
You need to get someone to dump the ROM from device to a SD using mtty, then generate the image file using WinHex.
I am also in the same boat as the original poster. Were you ever able to complete the task? Does anyone have any more detailed instructions that I could use to do this?
I have access to the other HTC Wizard that I need, at least I think I need another one if I am reading the above post correctly...
Dear colleagues,
My USB connection to XDA II has a fault and cannot connect to PC via USB. Is it possible to upgrade to WM6.1 or WM6.0 via SD card?
Many thanks to all,
Amedeus
HMMM

Hi
Sorry don't understand your reply?
Please explain.
Thanks
Amedeus
No, that will not work.
Your PC must be connected to the mobile device during update, the update (erase ROM, write new...) is done from the PC.
I didn't think it would. Thanks for reply.
A
unfortunately, there isent a way to upgrade the xda2 via SD_Card yet, i think someone over @ buzzdev.net tried it..
the only option is to either change your conector
I'm suspicious that it could theoretically be done using the grab_it.cab, designed to copy an entire rom, and it installs on a device once reinserted if I am not mistaken? I don't think it would actually work, but it may be possible one day down the track.
it have been reported that you can do it
but it require a himalaya connected to the pc
to prepare the sdcard
can you flash ROMs via SD Card ? plz help me
I own:wizard : wiza 200 / spv orange
The disruption of the usb cord Mobil
And I want to update the device
Is there a way non-link usb
Yes there is.
Read this post by Drug_Store and it should explain everything to you. I followed these instructions and was able to get my phone to at least hook up to the computer so I could then get button rom on there. Check it out and see if it'll work for you.
