M2000 WMP10 Button Issue - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

Thanks to the Wiki, I've upgraded my UK M2000 to the PDA2k_WWE_14000_176_11200 ROM, but I can't assign the "contacts" and "calendar" hardware buttons in WMP10 to next and prev track.
I can assign D-Pad left and right for this, but as I carry the M2000 in my trousers pocket, I have to take it out (oo-er) to skip tracks.
Any ideas?

Headphones button mapping

Is there a way to re-map hardware button on the kaiser's headphones? I would like to skip to next track while listening to music on my kaiser. Is this possible?
yes i have the same question. i don't like getting the phone out to change to the next track. i had magic button on my treo. any similar application on windows mobile
I tried to search registry but with no luck. Really doesn't anybody know how to map SOMETHING to headset's button? I could figure out the rest.

power button

Hi everyone!
So... my friend has qtek s200, and when he presses the power button (while listening music) the backlight turns off, and the buttons are locked(when you press they don't flash and nothing happens), but the music keeps playing. Is it posible make the power button of my qtek 9100 to work like that? I know there are programs with screen toggle (i'm using spb pocket plus), but the buttons steel work, and sometimes i press them accidentally in my pocket(and the pda starts dialing for example).

Map volume buttons long press with PocketMusic ?

Hi there.
I have been searching for a solution to my problem the last few days (on xda among others), but didn't achieve.
Here it is:
I didn't find out how to correctly map a long press for Volume buttons on PocketMusic:
1) I tried without any other soft than the player itself: doesn't work (but possible for other buttons).
2) I tried with A LOT of buttons remapping software (AEB Plus, Hbutton, others...). No one was able to allow this. In the best case, the behavior of the volume buttons is the same as when there is no remapping soft. In the worst case, the buttons didn't work at all anymore.
I also tried long press volume keys mapping under CorePlayer (without help of any external soft), and it works, but keys mapping is reset to system default after closing/relaunching the player.
Have you any idea about how to resolve this ?
Btw : it's a Diamond with original French Vodafone ROM.
Thanks in advance !!
No one experienced this problem ? No idea ?
Diamond native music player really sucks... Was definitely not made for nomad users !
PocketMusic is the most complete player i tried on it, though several limitations/cons:
- sound is a bit low with my headphones (sony-ericsson HPM-70 with htc mini-usb to jack converter) and PocketMusic's equalizer is one of the worst i've ever heard !
- playing list use is not easy, especially for finger-use.
Still no way of mapping long press for volume button with this soft ?
As you are within the topic:
I can not change the volume anymore by holding down the volume buttons, but pressing them show the correct screen, only the level is not adjusted.
That happened after softreset (and that 3 times now). I am on Bepe 0.95 Rom, and could only get the volume control back by a Hard reset =(
Any idea?
Mapping volume buttons with Spb Plus....
I've been trying to map the vol buttons for long press to activate MSVC using Spb Plus.....and getting no-where. I'm not even sure which buttons (1, 2, 3, 4, etc) maps to volume levels either...just using trial and error. Will post back if I can get this sorted
AEBPlus + Conduits Pocket Player do not seem to work that bad... Byt still not perfect behavior for long press of volume buttons (inhibits these buttons on today screen/TF3D)...

vibrate turns off w/out reason?

the only change i've made to my tilt as of recent was that i added kaiser tweak. however, i've looked thru the xml & cant find anything that'd warrant my profile changing from vibrate to ring w/out myself doing so. I've been watching it for about 2 weeks now trying to discern the action i am taking to cause the change but can't put my finger on it.
so i apologize i'd liked to have known the origin for the change to give you more info. but this is basically all i know.
i typically keep my ringer on vibrate. for some reason it changes to the ring profile automatically and periodically throughout the day. the only change i've made prior to this issue is adding kaiser tweak and a trial for contra, however that has since been removed. oh, sorry, i did add phm regedit to the phone also, the only registry i changed was the PTT registry fix to add button 6, i changed them to voice dial and voice recorder for long & short push respectively.
pls help. thanks. stan
I never had this problem before I upgraded to AT&T's 6.1 ROM. They added the PTT button to be remapped, but single push only. I did the registry change to remap a push and hold to Vibra Switch.
The problem I have is my phone keeps going to silent. I have to tap the volume control on the top of the screen to change it back. I can't confirm this, but it seems to happen when use SPB Shell's Now Screen phone profile to change to vibrate, but does not happen if I push and hold the PTT button and use Vibra Switch.

Do you use a Bluetooth headset?

then it's prolly by my having done the reg edit to add the ptt button for long & short press...makes sense...but i wonder why? i cant say that it has to do w/ when i push it either, bcuz by doing it it doesnt force it to change to ring from vibrate. but i dont use spb tho either.
edit: oh yeah...i do use a BT headset, but its sporadically used & not correlated to the automatic volume changes.
same issues
I am having problems as well with my sound options after i upgraded to 6.1. I have not made any modifications to the phone except for the 6.1 upgrade. It is also having the problem with the backlight turning on for a second every now and again.....
I have the same problem after using my bt headset. It goes to silent.
Any update on this issue? I just upgraded my Tilt to 6.1 and I notice that it will automatically turn the ringer off and I have to manually select the automatic ring profile again

no rington volume only got Vibrate

Hi, my htc diamond got a problem.
the the problem is incoming call only having vibrate without rington volume.
however, other programs are fine such as playing music no problem and listen with A2DP bluetooth stereo.
my rom is 1.93.831.1WWE
radio 1.00.25.05
i think the A2DP bluetooth causing the problem out. doesn't it?
any help for that?
thanks
Check this first...
When you press the volume buttons on the side of the diamond, a screen will come up with two tabs at the top. Left been "System" sound and right been "Ring". Have a look in the "Ring" tab to see if the volume is not set to zero.
I just noticed this problem today when my ringtones don't work, though SMS notification is ok. In my case, i used swiftbl 7.5 cooked rom with the volumecontrol fix for the rotation bug in opera. The volumecontrol fix for some reason killed my ringtone volume. Uninstalling this and reset the volume (as mentioned above) fixed it.
Hope this helps.
