Hi, I tried running the upgrade of ba_o2asia_14000_923_11200_ship ROM using the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe.
It is able to bypass the Country ID which I originally had but now it keeps prompting the "Radio Bootloader Version Error" error msg when it try to upgrade the ROM.
Anyone has any solutiont to this problem???
Now my XDA has been temporarily defunc and I could do nothing to it... *sob* *sob*
Hi, just some more piece of information. I am actually trying to upgrade the Blue Angel ROM on my XDA II (not IIs). Will that be the cause of the problem?
The ROM that I am upgrading to is:
ROM: 1.40
Radio: 1.12

im no upgrade bof and i was very very worried indeed when i upgraded to imate 1.40 yesterday, but i would defo say that its not working cos its not compatable............. can anyone else confirm that????? 8)

i recently tried to update my 8125 cingular to the 2.08 cingular ruu with a2dp and the radio becomes changed but the rom version is still the 1.8.1.11 or whatever it was. i would like to either find a way to fix this and get this rom working because i am dying to have a2dp or how i may go back to my cingular rom. i tried to use the ruu file from htc to downgrade and i get an error 296 upgrade only message. could anyone shed some light on this for me?
In the FTP site try using
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Wizard/Roms/Cingular/Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU2_WWE.exe for the upgrade
This worked fine for my 8125, and it is running much faster..
To downgrade to the ori ROM try using
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Wizard/Roms/Cingular/Cingular_RUU_1.8.11.1.WWE.ship.exe
Hi, I've a Qtek9100 with ipl & spl 2.17.0001 WWE, so I guess it's a g4, and I'd like to upgrade to the latest spanish rom. I've read a lot of threads, including the one supposed to fix my problem when tryng to unlock the CID (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=263116), but keep getting errors when I try to downgrade using custom__ruu_wizard_1050412_wwe_101_11210_wwe. rom
The pda goes into bootloader mode and the the upgrade utility gives an "error 300: invalid update tool, this update utility cannot be used for your pda phone. Please get newer update utility" error message.
Can anyone help, please?

My Wizard's touchscreen has some malfunction, and I want to take it to the T-mobile service. That Ok, but my MDa has a WWE Rom, and the original was a GER Rom.
I've tried several methods to downgrade my phone, but the installer says Error Vendor ID.
Anyone has any solution for this?
Please help me to take my Wizard to the service.

I have installed Mr. Clean AKU to my XDA mini S from O2 germany. Now I am trying to get it back into original O2 ROM, but I can't make it work. The O2 ROM is version 2.21 and the Mr.Clean has 2.24. Anyone can help??
What error message are you getting? As i recently installed a 3.3 rom on my O2 UK xda mini s and am going to just test to see if i can revert back to my original O2 Rom.
Let me know what error message you are getting and then i'll see if i get it with mine.

Hi I have a O2 XDA IIi and I upgraded the rom to
ROM: 1.11.00 WWE
Radio: 1.00.00
Ext ROM: 1.11.169
The thing is i have done the upgrade without CID unlocking the phone but used the all unlocking software ver.1.5 to unlock!Everything went ok but the only problem is that now the phone in the signal bar has an exclamation mark and says no service!
I have tried to flash the phone with sever other rom, but its the same,still no signal.
I am not able to use the ph any more, please help!

i;ve had a similar problem using olipro unlock on my diamond. Just get the exclamation mark on all networks. I have a feeling it might be an issue with the radio. Any updates on this...did you get your device to work????
