surelly somebody have allready an italian qtec9090 ...
I want that someone download the rom image please...
Like this, we (italian) can upgrade the mda or others xda with italian os.

Hi Denis,
I got yesterday my new Qtek 9090 with Italian Rom.
I found the way out to dump it to the sd card (Thank you xda-developers) and for Monday (the 6.12.04) I will shurely be very happy to share it here for all they that need it.

If I could have a copy of the ROM but only dumped with d2s command I'll be able to change it and it's very easy too.
Can someone to post ONLY THE ROM no Extended ROM and Radio, jest the ROM duped with d2s.
Looking foward for you replay, tahnks.

It seems that format of NBF files has changed in this upgrade. Old utilities no longer work.

This version is still not stable yet in terms of BT. You should upgrade to 1.31.06cht

Is this a Rom update from someone else,and who? Also , where is 1.31.06? Thanks .

I download your rom and try to upgrade to my i-mate PDA2K but got the error message error 123 radio image file checksum error.

Would like to update wiki with this rom!

Could you please give me a link to the site you got it from?

Based on the _ship at the end of the filename my guess would be that this is the Shipping version of the QTEK 9100 Rom. I don't have a QTEK 9100 so I can't compare verisons to verify though, so this is purely a guess.

If you change the cid on your device to supercid, you can upload it but wizard will talk to you in Norwegian...

been out of the loop... i have the first qteks 9100 to come out (1.1.7.5)
figured i'd do a ROM update.... what has everyone been happy with? I'm looking for a stable version.
I'm using t-mo as my provider and my phone is unlocked. Do i need to do the sim unlock stuff? Or can I just straight up do the ROM update?

You dont need to unlock just upgrade with this aku2 rom

Try a direct upgrade first - connect device to pc via activesync and click on the exe of the new rom to start upgrade.
remember to backup any important data as all will be lost - just like doing a hard reset.
You may get a cid error - country identifier and if so = follow these Instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41453

My Wizard is a German version, but when I bought it in HongKong, it is loaded with English ROM.
ROM version: 1.3.13.5 ENU
ROM date: 9/29/05
Radio version: 01.12.10
Protocol version: 4.0.13.23

FTP site has all the ROM's available, check through it and you'll see whats available. Which one to use, matter of choice and need, I'd suggest using the search function on this forum myself

Yours is quite an old rom so update to an aku2 rom english - will start with a 2 and WWE will in the name of the rom.
You didnt tell us which make of wizard you have to best advice you on what rom is good for you.

I have the o2 XDA Mini S and I ran the unlock program but when I try to perform the ROM upgrade it tells me that I have an invalid vendor!
Any ideas?

Which browser are you using? - sometimes there is a glitch there. Try disabling firewalls and antiviral on your pc to see if that makes a difference.
Tell me the rom you want and try to get direct link you want.
btw WWE is world wide english - so if you want an english rom go for one of these - if you want the menu's in german go for the german rom.

Thanks. I have managed to download the ROM. Problem lies with the browser. Apparently cannot download with Opera. I used IE instead.
I have successfully upgraded to the new ROM. Seems to be working alright so far.

i thoght qmat could only be used to flash from stock-rom to stock-rom?

This Rom here is a stock-ROM
So if i´m not wrong you can upgrade this ROM with GoldCard-Methode.

yes this is a stock rom, but my vario V is from t-mobile with t-mobile branded rom, zekon´s is o2 branded
...don´t know if this will work

remember, you can not install this stockROM without a hSPL
the hSPL is in working....
