Please help me in solving this problem in Imate K jam, when power it ON, it stucks on IMATE, doesnt process any more. I try to update device but update gives error, device not connected. What is hint to solve this problem?

Did you try to update the ROM before this happened?
With the update your trying to apply, is it the official one imate just released?

i have upgraded my k-jam with the
"MrClean_RUU_WIZARD_224a_AKU23_WWE"
after the update the device is running very slow, usb is not functioning at all, yellow led doesnt lid, no chargeing.
when i'm entering the "power settings" it sais "main battery: unknown"
now i cant run the rom update again because the usb is no working.
Please help!
now i learnd how to use the bootloader and i updated to a different rom:
"Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU2_WWE"
and the problem remains.

What was the original ipl and spl version on the phone before updating?
I had the exact same problem as you see and I upgraded to the latest Cingular official release by installing through the bootloader. Maybe you can try that, unless there is something in the MR. clean release you really need?

I solved the problem myself by downgrading to an old rom and unlocking
The CID.
And then upgraded again.
If anyone needs an explanation please feel free to ask.

I tried to flash my Charmer with the new german Aku 3.3. At first everything seems to be ok, but at 95% it stops and i got the Message: update error- there is an comunication problem! So what can i do? I tried to flash the old rom back but there comes also at 95% a message: invalid command - nfb file cannot be used for your pda!
Please help me !

Go to bootloader mode, then try to flash RUU rom (1.x). You can find it on Charmer wiki.
It doesn`t work too, it always stops at 95% has anyone another idea?

Yes i tried hard reset, but it is always in bootloader!
I have also the same problem. Tried to upgrade to version 3.3. Everytime it stops at 80%. I don't know why?! I can repair it with the software and re-run it. But it has the same effect.
Now i will try to downgrade to 2.6 again. I really don't understand what causes the problem. I hope i will get this thing running again....
EDIT: I reflashed the device with the older 2.6 ROM and it is working right now. However I didn't really get why it gets stuck at 80% with 3.3 ?!?!

The aku3.3 is up to date the bootloader version!!!
IPL and ISP version now is 3.00.

I´ve got the same: My charmer is in Bootloader IPL 2.06.0001 SPL 3.08.0001
I can´t downgrade to AKU 2: Please order a newer Version.
Every try to upgrade to AKU 3.3 failed at 95% with Error 326.
Is there any help for my charmer???

I got the same problem with them and my first pda uk rom already empty screen and then i try with my scrond pda German rom it the same problem and now just only show in bootloader screen.Have i ask someone who knowage about this he told me that if SLP in you PDA have chang it be hard to repair.So,I think I lose 2 PDA did I try to flash in T-Mobile Official Rom de that i hope to develop it but i hve to kill 2 Charmer.Who take responsibilities,T-Mobile right ???
Ok no problem you can repair it! At first you have to brand your device with the rom you want to! After 95% the Problem will come again! When it stops you have to go with a reset to bootloader again.When your device is in bootloader you have to install the Radio Rom from this thread:

After that your device will be able to boot again and it should work!- But the Problem during the installation will stay,so you have always to use this way to flash your Mda compact II!
In the new rom there must be a problem with the radio rom and this causes the broken device.

You can find the radio rom also on the ftp server. Prophet> Radio Roms>Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.11.exe
You can try different Radio Rom versions, i have flashed the v.247.11 and it worked.
Normaly it should work!

hi I've got a qtek 9090. It has a "Test Only not for sale" on the screen when it boots up. I wanted to update the ROM on it and when I started this message came up "radio bootloader version error" it happend when the window with % result of update showed up on screen. Since then I my ppc display is grey with "Serial" and "v2.03" on it. I ahve tried this

I Have a spv m2000 and I have excatly the same problem... I Try some versions of rom but it doesn't work...
If your PPC is always in 'Serial' and 'v2.03', you have to reinstall a rom without the radio. To do that, you just need to remove the file radio.nbf in the rom files......and to reinstall the good rom without the radio..
But with this procedure, the radio isn't upgrade.It's just to restart your ppc.
I can't find how to upgrade the radio..
Your bluetooth works well ?? My bluetooth stop after sevral seconds I've launched it and say a problem with the licence.. ANd you?? That's why i would like to upgrade the radio but I can't succeed..
If you find a way to upgrade, please tell me...

I had the same problem.
My PC was running vista, so i went to a pc running XP and the followed your link and it worked a treat.
Maybe that's your problem.
guys, n girls of course if any While I was updating my SPV M1500 with wm2003se rom update, while upgrading the radio stack my PC dont know how but just RESTARTED ! yeh I know !! Therefore my radio is bricked but the os and extrernal rom is fine. My radio wont work. it now says on bootup screen 'NO GSM'. and whenever I try to re run the update program it halts at radio stack update doesnt even go to 2% and timesout after 20 seconds and says ERROR RADIO STACK UPDATE. please run setup again.

**** happens, yesterday i tried to upgrade my rom on charmer (mda compact 2).
During installation system hangs on and didn´t finish.
So now i have only the startscreen and can reach the bootloader.
Tried now to flash an original rom, the ruu says error 294 invalid vendor id.
Otherwise the ruu (for no id) ended with error 238 file read.
My bootloder shows IPL 1.12, SPL 1.12 and USB connected.
I have read a lot of threads but cant find a answer for that.
Has anyone a good idea?

Are you trying to flash WM6 ROM to your charmer? Because WM6 required IPL and SPL level at least 2.xx.
Did you tried this method to bring charmer back to life?

Today i tried to update my rom... while the update i had an error.
i had updated the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363882
after the hardreset the phone hang by the first screen. I can press everething but nothing happens.
now I tried to flash a nother rom but it is unpossible because it can´t connect with windows mobile center on the pc.
Has anyone a good idea?
