Edited 26 jan 2006
I've uploaded a second test version of HTC Wizard's rom port to ftp://[email protected]/Uploads/Blueangel/wm5_test/wizard2ba_v2a_test.rar
(this is a v2 rom with a fixed camera)
USE THIS ROM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
This version is a complete Wizard's ROM including:
1. Working MMS client
2. Midi/mp3 ringtone support
3. DirectX mobile/Direct3D mobile (xscale-optimized 3D driver)
4. Built-in cyberon voice-dial
5. Wizard's battery indicator, device lock on today
6. Some cosmetic changes
7. 32 Mb RAM disk
8. Bug fixes from the previous version (for example now you can add picture to contact).
There is no need to install any of the old CAB-files with fixes on this ROM. All needed fixes are included in "EXTROM" folder.
The "EXTROM" folder has changed from the previous ROM version. You need to do a hard reset before using this ROM!
Known problems:
1. Bluetooth disconnect bug is still there. I have an idea, but would check it later.
2. The device cannot be used as an IR/USB modem. This can be fixed, but I don't have enough time.
3. It seems that midlet manager is not working. Probably this is a bug in original wizard's ROM.
Installation instructions:
1. Modify the operator as needed and if needed:
xda3nbftool.exe nk.nbf nk.nba -x 0x20040521
...read wiki...
xda3nbftool.exe nk.nba nk.nbf -x 0x20040521
2. Create "EXTROM" foder on your storage card, copy there the contents of EXTROM
folder from this archive. The full name of this directory on your device should
be "\Storage Card\EXTROM".
2. Flush the ROM
3. Make the hard reset (press camera+record+reset buttons, select "format storage")
4. Boot. During the first boot the CAB-files from "EXTROM" folder would be
installed. They are unsigned, so you should press "yes" when asked, and
install them to the default folder. This process would be silent on newer
builds of this ROM.
Note for modifying the EXTROM folder:
All CAB-files should have read-only attribute set. Otherwise they would be deleted after installation. This would be fixed in the future releases. And
Config.txt is renamed to Cfg.txt.
CAB files:
Missing-Files.CAB - must be always installed. Wizard's ROM is larger than ours, so several files had to be removed and placed to this CAB.
Default_CAB-shortcut-CDL-08Sep05.CAB
Default_cdl_wwe_version.cab
Default_ie_view.sa.cab
Default_SmartDialing_enable_0915_signed.CAB - these 4 are from original Wizard's ROM.
Camera2K5.cab - camera app and drivers
Note regarding "RAM Disk32". I recommend to move temporary internet files and install unnecessary apps there. Its contents would survive soft reset, but would be cleaned if the battery is removed. The RAM Disk driver is taken from www.buzzdev.net
Okay, so I got the ROM even before you posted this topic (after an hour you've uploaded it...yes, i do check the WM5_test folder on a regular basis, hehe) First impressions is that this ROM is fast, really fast, even faster than the Hima2BA port... I can't really call WM5 "slow" anymore now, it works very well. Gonna test it a bit more later today. And THANK YOU, as usual
Just turned on cleartype and the fonts looks a bit...I don't know...weird. I'm not saying that it is worse than in the older ROMs, it just looks different somehow. Or it's just me. Edit: yes, they *do* look different. I'd say they are nicer though...
install Camera2k5_1 ,it is owrking for camera , this rom fast than others, Pocker msn can't login " sorry, We are unable to sign you in to this service because we could not detect a valid server certificate. this can occur if the date on your device is different from today date.please check the date on your device and change it if necessary.
also missing phone icon at person settingn't set ringtone
hi mwang, can you tell me where can download Camera2k5_1 ,thanks
Mamaich, what can i say, outstanding, as usual...Testing now
great man...
picture and video application isn't working though :?
working awesome, does anyone know how can i install BT Tray?
thanks mamaich
In Phone, Options doesn't work, smartdialing doesn't work...
2. "ok" hardware button is mapped to "record" and this cannot be changed. Would investigate this.
Click to collapse
Strange. In my device it's mapped to the OK button as in 2003..
Bugs that I found:
1. MSN Messenger does not work
2. Phone Option does not work
3. Unable to assign picture from contacts
4. MP3 ringtone does not work
5. Voice Command BT Headset Dial (by renaming voicecmd.exe to sddialer.exe) does not work
MP3 ringtones work for me
Phone, Options isn't there. comfirm.
Hope to have a fix for that soon.
This ROM is a bit faster, but still no match for wm2003se speed..
Another problem is that I don't seem to be able to connect to the internet using AS, is it just me?
Guess it's back to 2003 for now..

I'm back to 2003SE too, currently doing restore. Guess have got to wait for some patches. I must say the speed of this is better then any other WM5 version.

I'll put together quickly a WiKi article with solution to the missing phone settings and such..stay tuned.
WiKi article with solutions and general info here (and also in my signature)
There are no notifications of current internet connection, i mean wifi bluetooth or gprs in the titlebar (like those in himalaya ported WM5)
There is still error when you press album icon in camera app, which can be fixed with installing album
The hardware button OK is mapped correctly , it works fine here
The record button is mapped as Voice Speed dial (the record app is there but doesnot work)
How can i get the tray icons of bluetooth and wifi ?
I like the new battery tray icon
Port to SX66
Great work Mamaich.
Installation was very smooth. The WIki solution to the missing phone icon was a big help. I prefer this version over the orginal WM5 or the himalaya version. I like the EXTROM installation. Not having a camera installed is a big help to SX66 owners, we don't have to deal with the sound issues. Finally got a midi ringtone to work with the wizard version, prior versions I had to convert the Midi to MP3. I have had it lock up on me a few times, but haven't figured out the cause yet.
Thanks again.

39.6MB (their server is really slow today)
From i-mate site:
The details of the new ROM image are:
For the Worldwide English Build:
ROM version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/05
Radio version: 1.12.00
Protocol version 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.176 WWE
I think they waited until the pros on this site figured everything out first...then they just piggy-backed on their findings. Kudos to the real pros on XDA-devel!!!

How to install this rom in Spanish Qtek 9090, i'm new and y don't now very well to change the language.
Thank you!
imate update
I just got the update from the I-mate site and am working it with the XDA tools but I'm getting a checksum errors on the radio, NK, and MS filles. Should I be using a different tool? My device is a MDA III T-mobile german flashed to english. Any Ideas???
Downloaded, installed and running. No problems....yet. I can't find a config file in the extrom in order to make some changes, but there's a setup.exe file now. Not sure what that's about.
No idea how to change the language...I'm not good enough to know that.
More later.
Tom
So far so good. A couple issues. 1) the phone off (or flight mode on) is no longer activated by the Call End button. Shame...I loved that feature. 2) I have a problem turning the phone on (flight mode off) after a soft reset. I think it may be caused by the Contacts Button addin. The only way I can turn on the phone is to go into the keypad and then turn it on. All other methods cause the system to lockup.
Tom
Temporary copy...
Until someone puts it up on xda-developers / cooks it,
a MUCH faster loading copy is at

Great!!!!!
I'm downloading it right now!!
i-mate finally released it after 1000's of unkept promises!
FINALLY!!! Here's to hoping it will be better than the Qtek version!
Again, I would like to ask why there is no config file??? I take it setup.exe has the config file built in? If any of the pros can give me some feedback as to this, I would appreciate it. I'd like to drop in several cab files incase I fubar something down the road.
Thanks,
Tom
P.S. almost 6 hours and only the "turning on the phone" problem.
yes... config is missing...
will try out some combinations .
skype is taking 3.8 megs... i don't need it there.

Ture...true. Skype was fun the first couple times, but with VOIP at home, I really don't need it anymore. Still, kind of cool to show people...if you have someone that you can connect to.
Tom
Tried some combos, including, using the old config and setup files... nothing wrorks,
only thing is that any additional file found in ext rom is treated as a carrier customization file, and on selecting one file , that particular file will be installed..
also, i noticed that there is one config file in the windows directory.
Just take the Autorun.exe and config.txt from another rom, add in the cabs from the i-mate rom, and there you go.
Yeah, I will be removing Skype ASAP myself. I can understand how it could be useful, but for my purposes, it just takes up space.
The Setup.exe is way better then the config
Leave the setup the exe it is better then the config. with the config you have to site the and write a line for each cab file. the setup.exe automatically runs every cab file in the ext rom. whether you put it there or not. So when cookinh your extended rom no need to keep having to change the config.txt. The setup will run whatevers there.
You can find this new ROM at ftp upload folder hope MDAIIIUser can move to wiki , I will upload ext.ROM by tomorrow

Tried that , removed setup.exe , copy old autorun.exe and made new config file,
but didn't worked out..

Do I need to keep autorun.exe ? If yes, then which one old or new?
sunish, I can not imagine why it would not work. You must have made a mistake somewhere.
The WMP10 close problem still exists, which leads me to conclude that it is indeed a problem with the 1.40 CE Rom, and not something within the Extended rom muddling it up.
Has anyone seem any actual improvements with this rom over Qtek's? All of the same problems still to be in place. The extended rom has a few different (but unimportant) cabs, but that's about it.
MarcValme, I'm not so sure I agree. One of the good things about the config.txt file is that you can specify the order in which the cabs install, which does actually make a difference in a few circumstances. Food for thought.
TheLastOne,
Don't know / Can't figure out where is the problem.
No combination is working for me.
Maybe will try it again after a day or so.
Right now, after unhiding the Ext ROM, I'm installing all the programs needed by me manually.
One thing that I noticed is the increase in speed... The performance is somewhat better now...
Cingular SX66 Upgrade - a complete "How-to"
I am not associated with XDA-Developers, but these guys do a lot of good work. If this post helps you, please support their efforts by making a small contribution to XDA-Developers forum – I did. This is a long post and I wouldn't blame moderators for shortenning it. If this is the case, the entire procedure is available on my website:
http://www.souljernation.com/files/SX66Upgrade.doc
Well, I was one of the lucky winners of a Siemens SX66 "AT&T" variant, sold by Cingular, which can not be upgraded using the Siemens SX66Update.exe program. Each time I try, I would get a COUNTRY ID ERROR.
SO, after loads of research, I finally put all of the pieces together to get the thing upgraded to Version 1.33.10 with Radio Stack Version 1.12.00 and Bluetooth stack 1.0.0.3900
This configuration is working pretty well for me and has solved a bunch of the little annoyances of the 1.32 version of the ROM and 1.02 Radio ROM.
Here is the procedure for upgrading – get used to going through the initialization process – you’ll have to do it several times. I am not sure if a full backup is a good idea since it will overwrite the BT stack after you upgrade it. But it is definitely a good idea after you are finished upgrading and getting the PDA restored to the way you use it.
You will need the following files which can easily be found using Google:
Siemens’ upgrade package: SX66update.exe
Hacked Upgrade utility: MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe
Blue Angel Flash Tools: BAFlashTools.zip
Radio ROM version 1.12.00: R1.12.00.zip
Restart Radio utility: restartradio.exe
Broadcom Bluetooth stack cabinet: BroadcomCorp_BT1.0.0.3900.cab
Now, you do not want to search all over the internet for these, so here is a nice clean package that contains everything all ready to go…. LMSX66Upgrade.zip
http://www.souljernation.com/files/LMSX66upgrade.zip
You can extract this file to its own directory or build the file set by downloading the files individually.
Here is how to build the file set:
1) Extract the Siemens SX66Update file.exe to a new directory called SX66Upgade (using winzip or winrar). Add the file MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to this directory.
2) Extract the BAFlashTools.zip file to another new directory called BAFlashTools.
3) Extract the R1.12.00.zip to the BAFlashTools directory.
4) Don’t worry about the BT stack and resetradio for now – just keep track of them.
If you downloaded my fileset you can skip all of that stuff and just extract it to a temp directory somewhere on your PC.
Before proceeding, make sure that you have a good connection and partnership from PC to SX66, that the main battery is fully charged and that you have the power supply plugged in to the cradle. These are all very important steps!!
Remove the device from the cradle.
Start the upgrade –
Manually trigger a bootload by holding the record button and the power button and pushing the reset. Your device will say SERIAL, but the back light will not be on, so it will be difficult to see.
Plug the device into the cradle and the display should change to USB.
Go into the SX66Update folder on your PC and run the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and follow instructions – don’t worry that it does not display the current software versions.
In about 1 minute or less, you should see a bar graph displaying progress. If the program is inactive for longer than a minute or two, restart the PC and try again.
Once the ROMS are updated, the system will reboot, go through the initialization process, but don’t waste any time because the system will get wiped again after the radio upgrade.
Wait for the device to go though the program installation and become usable and partner it with the PC again. (I know, this is tedious – but, hey, we’re geeks, right?)
Next, open the BAFlashTools directory and run BaUpgradeUt.exe. This will take you through the same process, but only flash the radio ROM with the 1.12 stack.
Once complete, the system will go through another complete initialization. Suffer through it, plug it in to the cradle, and partner it with your PC yet another time.
Using the Explorer option of ActiveSync, create a temporary folder on the SX66 and copy restartradio.exe and BroadcomCorp_BT1.0.0.3900.cab to this new folder.
Using the PDA, go into the temp folder and run restartradio.exe by taping it once. This will shut down the BT stack. Look for the telltale “X” by the antenna ICON in the menu bar.
Next, tap the BroadcomCorp_BT1.0.0.3900.cab file and it will self-install the new BT stack. This file will delete itself once installed.
FINALLY, do a soft reset by pushing the reset button and you are done.
NOTE: the Bluetooth stack is integrated into the system ROM. If you do a hard reset or the battery dies and the system memory is lost, the BT stack will revert to the old version.
Good Luck!!
Perhaps this should find its place in the wiki?
This is made obsolete by the new series of 1.40 roms. Soon enough, Cingular will have their version too.
Instructions to update to 1.33.10 are already on wiki, as they are the same instructions as all the other ones. So are instructions to upgrade your bluetooth to 1.0.0.3900 (also made obsolete by the 1.40 series).
Not to mention that there is a 1.13 radio rom, which is superior to the 1.12 rom, seemingly.
I actually noticed all of that, yet I found very few posts to actually recommend those versions and fewer still that actually detail how to find all of the right files and upgrade the SX66 specifically. This is especially true of the SX66 AT&T variant which can not be upgraded with the Siemens' upgrade package. It took me a very long time to find all of this information and get it to work right based on scattered postings - I'm just trying to save brother SX66 owners a little time and frustration and would argue that this post is actually valid until obsoleted by an official Cingular update package (which undoubtedly will not work on the AT&T variant.....)
I'll give you that. I was just refuting ejdmoo's post more than anything.
I assume that you are refering to the wiki upgrade information here

I have a seimens sx-66 and none of these methods worked. They all either gave me the country id error or they froze and left me with no radio.
What i ended up having to do was download the official ssiemens version for the PH20B1 near the bottom of this page.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades
and then add [CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1 to the ruu.conf as described in this page . And was FINALLY able to even upgrade to the official siemens rom that i'm supposed to have no problem with.
this is what i started out with
PH20B1 : B 1
WWE : E
XGULA001
1.20.10 : 1 0
1.20.115
1.02.10 : 02.10
Sorry The SX-66 is not very well supported on this site and all the begging that I have done for somebody to open a wiki section for it has not worked.

So that 4 Woskars for Charlie !!!
is it possible to make an already full patched(button fix, camera, bluetooth, etc) rom with all basic programs (such as mms client, stk, backlight, etc)?
i think yes but i'm not able to make it..it will be very usefull for newbies such me..
with this full rom you do not need to post lots of duplicated threads and all will works since the beginning..
yeah i would like that to,
so we only have to install it without patching and so
very good idea!!!!
but now, apart the Wiki, there is a list of all patchs that must be installed?!
'cause I don't have enough time to read alle the pages in WM5 problem resolutions thread
well,
so far, i created a project for a extended rom under wm2005.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_WM5_Extended_ROM
Butt im stuck, it will not install off the rom after a hard reset.
If this would be working we do not have to worry anymore if we forgot or lost our sd card for the neccesary patches.
i think yes
i can make a list but someone has to do that
i think tha the 'default' are:
camera fix
wm5_v3 fix
button fix
midi with album fix
missing system programs (mycpl.rar)
traylauncher
wifi programs
sim manager
and a set of default programs:
pdf reader
xscaler
pocketplus
pocketrar
etc..
I would say no, i'd rather have the choice to install what patches i want. For instance if i dont use MMS or prefer the soft keys of WM5. The way it is now you can configure the device just as you want. Getting a working extended rom you can customise would be my choice. I definitely wouldnt want Pocketplus installed by default on my device.
It has to work first.
So anybody already found a working autorun.exe and config.txt files?
I Tried alot of those two, but still not able to get it working under te extended rom after a hard reset.

Yes i dont have to use it; but if the patches are no longer released separately then i have no choice. If there is a choice of all-in-one rom and non-patched that will be ok. But you have to think of who creates the rom, it may be easier just to maintain one rom version. I guess we have to wait and see..
@pimbo have you tried the autorun from the K-Jam extended rom? May be different from the Universal files. Its here ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/

Not yet, preparing my device now, autorun is 17kb from this one
setup is 104kb, looks common, exept the dates are a bit older.
Manually launching the autorun of files on the extended rom will work, so i guess that i have to do a hardreset again, thats what i going to do later the evening. lol 8)

No luck. wil not automaticly run.
Still need to make the rom visible and run the autorun.exe for the installs.
But this is the nearest solution for now i guess.
So you still need a single cabfile on a sd card to unhide your rom and install all files on there.
If anybody knows the bytes to change in the nbk or nbf files or maybe in the bootstrap, the adaption could be completed and the patches would automaticly install after a hardreset. .
please don't OT
...so
dev can make all in one rom and single patch

i for one would love an all encompassing rom patch. reading through all the duplicate posts and other resolutions is a real hassle for noobs. we see the same questions being asked every 3 days or so and it just creates more clutter for the other noobs to sift through. i figure a lot of those fixes should be included in the next patch of the current wm5 rom anyhow if people rather wait for that to come around.

did not work, did the autorun in a folder called 2577. cab files on the root.
did a hard reset, but would still not install.
The screen of the 3sec before install wont pop up
But after i made my extended rom visible, it automaticly runs after a soft reset.(the 3sec screen pops up )

This would not work. WM5 on BA lacks registry settings and driver for the extended_rom folder.

I think this deserves its own topic. Original post from Tuatara:
Hi everyone ...
Sorry, I've run out of time for providing you with an updated ROM which I wanted to have feature complete. I'm off on vacation tomorrow for 2 weeks, and can't keep working on it until I'm back.
I've been playing around with many things (adding/removing files, fixing the Midlet Manager, updating Camera, etc.) but I haven't got the ROM to the point where I feel it's 100% ready for others - but having said that, I've uploaded it to XDA Dev, and you're welcome to give it a try and see if it improves things for you.
This is MAINLY an update from Mamaich's v2a ROM, which does contain the Quantum Timing Patch, and the Performance Tweaks.
I've also made a few filesystem changes - predominantly removing the Midlet Manager (which wasn't working), applied all of the Performance Tweaks as per the thread (and a few more), changed the default startup elements to suit my tastes (at the moment), and added some useful programs and details to the ROM. (psShutXP, Running Programs, Shortcuts to missing elements, etc.)
The ROM is in /Uploads/Blue Angel/wm5_test/Tuatara_v2a_Custom.zip
Inside the ZIP file is the nk.nba file, along with the updated registry files (boot.rgu, default.rgu, and user.rgu) which have been merged in. I've unfortunately forgotten to include initflashfiles.dat in the ZIP, but that file is directly available from inside the ROM anyways.
The ZIP also contains a different EXTROM - only the missing files, camera, and midlet manager are needed now, and there is no warning about publisher on installation anymore. You can obviously customize the EXTROM cfg.txt file to your liking, and install anything and everything all at once.
Additionally the ROM itself still has some additional space for applications, so if you want to cook your own, there is some space available to add more.
Sorry I won't be able to answer any questions about this ROM, or handle issues on it for two weeks, so it's up to you if you want to try it (or just decompose it and look at the changes).
Enjoy, and I hope everything goes well.
Regards,
Robert.

Personal thoughts: I think this ROM gives some performance boost indeed, not much, but it is noticable. Nearly every bug is fixed now, only the bluetooth disconnect issue is left. My BA is fianlly shows itself disconnected when i take it off the cradle (with the previous ROMs, it often showed that it is still connected).
Enabling SmartDialing
Hi, I've tried this ROM & this definitely faster! Thanks!
But I can't seem to enable SmartDialilng by removing the "_" from the mfc80u.dll_ and msvcr80.dll_ files for SmartDial will start to work? These 2 files are missing from this ROM but even after I've copied these 2 files into the \Windows folder, SmartDialing still doesn't work. Any ideas?

I should take a look at one of the early versions of "New menu for WM5" (anything below 1.0.0 beta). Does anyone still have the CABs?

I downloaded the new Rom and having a little trouble trying to download to my SX66. I have upgraded and downgraded the WM5 on my SX66 several times. I was wondering since the rom file is nba instead of nbf does that make a huge difference. I admit have have not messed around with my device data cause I find that a little complicated. I usaully use the MA_Upgrade cause I don't have to tweak too much. Any suggestions?

In this case, you should use the harder way. Read step 4 of the upgrading process (see wiki) to upgrade via BaUpgradeUt.exe.

The nk.nba file needs to be converted back to nk.nbf regardless of whether you use MA_Upgrade or BA_Upgrade. I use MA_Upgrade. There is an modelid entry of the USER.rgu that should be changed to PH20B1. I'm not sure whether these *.rgu files need to be copied to the \windows dir or added back into the nk.nba file. Any thoughts KTamas, i'm thinking the later.

You don't have to do anything with RGU files at all. You need to use xda3nbftool (with editfix.bat if you want) to patch the ROM.

Hey whats up guys, just a curious question I have regarding the comm manager in WM5. When using stock version of WM5 2.26 from T-Mobile on my MDA and using a program called Navizon with my GPS, I am able to calcualte a lot of Wi-Fi Access points and Cell Phone towers using the Comm Manager supplied with the stock. I am talking about, on my regular commute about 400-600 AP's and varied on towers. I have upgraded my Rom many of times with different variations of WM5 and WM6 and also reflashed my Radio rom with many different radio versions, with WM5 stock, customs, and WM6, and each came with a different comm manager than stock, and after doing so I am now only able to gain maybe 7 AP's on my normal commute but Cellphone Towers are good.
So my question is, is it possible to get the comm manager from stock WM5 and install it within any custom roms already to created to see if that really has something to do with why I am not gaining any data while using this program, and if that might not be the case, then what exactly could be the problem when trying to collect the data at all. Thanks in advance.
Man, over 75 views and not a single yest it can be done or no it cannot be done, come on guys somebody gots to know a simple yes or no answer!
Hi,
If you mean the "CommManager.exe" file, yes it can be done.
I'm building my own WM6 rom (orwel based).
As I liked better the CommManager.exe from the Tmobile 2.26 stockROM, I installed it.
Simply extract the file from the CommManager.exe T-Mobile ROM and copy it over to an already installed rom or integrate it in your new rom.
You also might want to tune the Software\HTC\CommManager registry key to make sure that you have 8 buttons on it, instead of the regular 7 of the other roms.

Hey eluth, thanks for the reply man. I didnt realize it was that simple, but a quick question, is their a tutorial you can point me to as far as extracting the .exe file, or do I have to flash rom with stock, transfer over to pc, reflash with custom rom, transfer back over. Basically Im looking for a simpler way of extracting than the above, thanks in advance.
Nice advice!
I've done it!
Great - I see my loving 8-buttons!!!
I would also love to have it again. Can somebody share old commanager.exe and reg. file here?
I changed the key to show 8 and it says "Comm Manager supports 7 functions at most!"
Any ideas?
I guess what I am asking is what is the 8th button for and how do I go about mapping it in (if that's even possible)?

It looks like you have a 7-button manager, you need an 8-button.
Try this: (attach)
(the 8th entry in the registry should contain one default value - "IR", similar to 7 others)
P.S.: do not pay attension on the file size - it's just compressed by upx
Thanks fellaz, hopes this fixes my issue with Navizon.

Thanks for this post! I have been looking for this for months!!!
It did not work for me. It had the same 7 buttons on top of 8 pieces of text. The file size was considerably smaller than my 7 button commmanager.exe as well.

Will that create the button as well? When Comm manager loaded it still had only 7 graphical buttons on top of 8 pieces of text.
I tried and it worked... thank you
cab file for easy install
I didn't test it 'cose I allready have it...
Did anybody tried to install the VOIP.cab too ?
Funny thing is that most users reports registry entry started from 1 but mine started from 0 (phone entry, in WM6 MB edition)? I suggest all not to use cab files, but manually perform registry changes. Adding VOIP button is OK, I don't have error in settings menu I used to have without it.
