PocketCM
Resco Explorer
and maybe my GPS app

Hey lads,
I'm looking for a reliable and efficient registry editor for my Kaiser and I'd love to hear sth from you... I already use CeRegEditor but it runs from the desktop through ActiveSync... I'd love one which runs directly from the Kaiser. Suggestions? (Possibly freeware!)
Thank you,
ciao.

I highly recommend Resco Registry Editor, which comes as part of Resco File Explorer, which is a great File Explorer - many improvements over the built-in File Explorer. Resco makes it easy to edit the Registry, to export sections for backup and/or reinstall after hard reset or new flash.
Total Commander CE Its free from http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
I use Rescoe (comes with their File Explorer) and think it is great; also, SK Tools also has a nice Registrey editor as part of their SK Tools software.

For most purposes Total Commander and PHM Registry Editor are straightforward and easy to use

dotfred's Taskmanager
IMO dotfred's TaskManager is one of the best PPC tools with a lot of features, including a powerful Registry Editor.
For strictly registry editing, go with Resco Registry Editor.
Tilt Friends,
Is there a difference between the PPC & Smartphone versions for Resco's file explorer? I am using the trial software and like it a lot! Interested in purchasing the product but wondered if there was a diffence beside $10.00 in price.
Please advise.

Pocket pc versions of software are made to work with the touch screen so you can click things. You need to get the pocket pc version. If the smartphone version would even install then you would have to just navigate using the soft keys and d pad, clicking down each file until you got to the one you wanted.
Friends,
I have been using PointUI for the last couple of months. Excellent interface (beats M$ today screen)...
Anyways, I have noticed at times when I am using PointUI (QVGA Latest Version) for my Tilt there are moments the app freezes. Sometimes I can get away with hitting the phone or okay button to re-activate it. Sometimes it just a reboot..
Is there a program I can install that will allow me to monitor what application that caused the program?
I decided to nuke POINTUI and use the M$ interface and see if specifics apps lock. At the present I am using RomEOS (latest) rom and here are my apps:
PointUI
S2U2
S2P
Pocket Image Viewer
WOWSRS
Guitar Tuner
Anryl Mobile Application
Adobe Reader
Iphone Black Dialer Skin
WM6 RDP
Stopwatch
Marsware Weather
HTC Skin (Win Player)
DCINOBAR
psSHUTXP
Resco Explorer / Registry
SJ Calc-SPB
Spb Backup
TomTom 7
Clear Temp
Vito Audio Notes
Windows Live
All apps are the latest and greatist versions - running WN6.1
Please advise.

Anyone would like to assist - I would be thankful..
Need to know what app can I install to verify that a .dll, app, setting is freezing POINTUI interface?
Please advise.
