Anyone have full keypad co-ords for the Wizard? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Ive got a German Wizard which I flashed with WWE ROM.
The problem is that I used aekmap to change the keyboard layout and this is fine apart from the - and _ keys with the blue dot shift.
When using the scan utility I can see the co-ords of all of the keys I need to change except from these 2.
So Im wondering if anyone has recorded the co-ords so that I can finish mapping them.....really would be happy if anyone has
Thanks in advance.............

*bump*

How do your remap your keyboard?
I updated ROM from the standard O2 to the QTEK 9100 ROM, and most of the symbol keys (e.g. £,$,% etc.) are all over the place.
From your message, it sounds like you managed to remap most of your keys, so any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers

Helmi BA WM2k5 - german keyboard

Hello,
is there any possibility to get a german keyboard for the Helmi WM5? I have a german BA (Vodafone VPA III) and i use my slide-out keyboard very often. I have no problem with an english wm5 but without a german keyboard layout is it useless for me.
Is there any way to get a german keyboard "driver" for the slide-out keyboard?
Install this cab and soft reset the device - you will have german keyboard layout
works perfectly. Thank you very much
U guys talking about the hardware keyboard or the soft keyboard?

The Hardware "slide-Out" Keyboard
And is there a solution to switch the soft keyboard to German layout?
Yes, it's the same thing. I have similar patch done for wm2003se, it works fine. Thanks for this one for wm2005!
Installing the cab file only changed the slide-out keyboard layout. The soft keyboard remained unchanged.
Is there any other solution to change the layout?
Hi, the file fixed my hard- and software kb. Thnx a lot! But since i installed, the hw kb sometimes "holds the last key pressed"
It repeats that letter till i press another key. Anybody else has that problem?
Greetz Mad
Sorry Guys
my softkeyboard remained unchanged.

Keyboard keys moved

Hello,
I've flashed Windows Mobile 6 onto m Qtek 9100 but since then the keys on my hardware keyboard have moved.
All the "extra" symbols (accesible by pressing the special button with a filled circle on it) have moved one place to the left.
I know, there were a few others having this problem, but I can't find that thread.
Does anyone have the solution for me?
ok here's your fix
For US layout (QWERTY):
HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale = 0409
Thnx mate!
Hi,
I have an O2 Wizard and also have problems with keyboard after flashing.
The special keys are allover the place.
I checked HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale and it is already = 0409
Any suggestions please?

Remap keys on Tytn II / Kaiser

I just flashed my Tytn II with a new rom and some of my keys are now wrong i.e. press fn Q and get ! instead of @. I've searched and cannot find a fix for this. I tried putting on Alex's keyboard fix and it didn't work. Does anyone know where I can find the file that has to be edited to the right characters or a cab that will do it for me. Sorry if this has been asked before but I've been searching for 2 hours and can't find anything. Thanks
Use Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool to change Keyboard Layout parameter.
Thanks, but I tried that too and it doesn't work. Is there not a txt file or something which I can edit?
I created a virtual keymapping for the difference between the HTC Herald & T-mobile Wing. Maybe this will work for you because it sounds just like the problem we had over in the Herald forum....
So try this :
KEYBOARD FIX for WING / HERALD & ROM hardware keyboard (keybddr.dll) mismatch
Use the Herald keyboard Fix ... because i think the herald & kaiser have the same keyboard layout.

Thanks for the response... But it didn't work either. I appreciate the help though. Any other manual ways to do this?

OK, I got it working thanks to a great member who had already dealt with this so I copied and pasted from the other thread and here's the answer:
4) The Rogers ROM changes the hardware keyboard layout. The layout is the same as used by the AT&T Tilt and so some of the keys behave differently (for example pressing @ brings up a ! and visa-versa). To fix this problem I needed to delete the registry key HKLM>HARDWARE>DEVICEMAP>KEYBD>CWSLayout

Hi,
I've recently bought an HTC TyTN II and am having problems with the keyboard. The "alt" keys are not how they are mapped on the keyboard, and I can't get a comma.
I've tried the above methods apart from the Rogers ROM, the link supplied isn't active any longer and googling the rom there are loads to choose from.
Can anybody help me?
Cheers,
Craig

Issues with Software keyboards on my Tilt

hi everyone,
I have an AT&T tilt, with ROM HyperDragon IV IOLITE OS 5.2.20765 Build 20765.1.4.4 (Also try with HyperDragon IV Rhodium OS 5.2.21040 Build 21040.1.6.0) and Radio 1.65.24.36. I have installed many keyboards but anyone have worked with my phone. I install them with any issue but when I select it in the drop down menu, the original keyboard is still there, nothing happens.
I try with:
FingerKeyboard2 FingerKeyb-2.1-QVGA-arrows-Giannis86.cab
Gollum's Diamond XT9 OEM pack gullum diamond keys.cab
EzInput 1.5 Keyboard [Full Keyboard] - phones with full HW keyboard fro QVGA
XDA Atom T9 Phone Pad phonepad_atom_wwe.cab
Please help, and excuse me for my english...
Try searching for SIP Change.
thanks! but I already try with SIP change, still the same problem.
Keyboard
Hi there, I'm using FingerKeyboard on my Kaiser. When you install the cab. make sure you install it onto your device when your phone give you the option; do a soft-reset. Then go to the bottom of your phones touchscreen where you press for the keyboard to pop-up. On the right side of the "keyboard icon" there's an arrowhead, press on again, now navigate to the text bar that says "FingerKeyboard" make sure it's selected. There you should have it?
Device: TILT (unlocked)
Rom: PDA Ultimate V2
Radio: 1.64.24.36
SPL: Jocky3.56
Thank u very much. I already did that but when I pressed the arrow and select any of the other keyboards, the default was still there.
Last week I changed the ROM with the newest PDA Corner, that includes EzInput Keyboard by default, and now is working flawlessly, so my problem might be a Hyperdragon ROM issue with my phone. I'll try to contact sakajati to inform about this.
Thanks for your attention.
