Hi,
I'm kinda stuck here and maybe someone know what I'm missing here.
I downloaded the 2.8.7.102 WWE Rom and installed it without any problems. I used aWizard to backup the OS and reverted back to the Qtek_9100_RUU_Prodigy_10107105_Qtek_WWE Rom and modified the Extended_ROM to my likings. I tried to use aWizard to restore the 2.8.7.102 OS for several times now (without problems or errors) but it always hangs at the splashscreen so I have to restore a RUU Rom again to get my device to boot again.
What am I doing wrong?
Is what I want possible?
Thanks in advance on any help
Cheers,
Cacti

I have tested what you want to do in my Wizard and success without any problem.
Please make sure you have unlock CID using 'u' and enabel RAPI using 'e' option.
Hey Cactus,
Did you get an error while flashing your device or is it when you are restarting it after flashing?
Have seen it with mine that during the first steps of the flash I got this error but when I flashed it on another computer everything went fine.
Cheers,
Drifter
Drifter dude!!! Whazup
No errors when I run the RUU Rom and no errors when I use aWizard. But it hangs at the splash screen.
I did enable RAPI and I CID unlocked it also (although I'm sure you only need to do that once) but still no go. I reverted back to the RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship OS.
I can't stand that it's not working so I ran the RUU with the test ROM again and used aWizard to extract the OS rom again. You never know, it may have gone wrong the first time, but still no go. I was able to restore it's Radio Rom fine but not the OS part. Bummer!
Oh well, seems I need to be patient and wait till someone figures out how to unlock the locked Extended_ROM from newer roms.
Cheers

sorry you're having problems. The silver lining is that you can revert back from the 2.8.7.102 rom. Now, I feel comfortable trying 2.8.7.102, since i can go back.
Sorry Cactus, cant help you with this one.
If you have removed CID and simlock you shouldn't have any problems updating the firmware.
Did you try the update with another computer with a clean ActiveSync?
Someone else with a suggestion about this problem?

I think you will know what to do, so please tell me... I'm flashing my o2 xda mini S and I have now run out of time, I used all my spare time today (2 hours) trying to flash the ROM with RUU_Prodigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship but I get the error.
So what do I need to do - how to remove the vendor lock(?) and where to get the program that can do it, if there is one? And is the above ROM okay? I want to get rid of the stupid o2 programs and get into a clean version of Windows Mobile. And of course, the additional speed that hopefully comes with a new ROM is also appreciated
Please explain clearly, I have very little time nowadays to fiddle with these sort of problems
Thanks!
EDIT: Here is the ROM I have in there now: 1.5.4.2 and it's the o2 original ROM that came preinstalled with the phone... that's all I know.

Unlock it first !
Download CID Unlock (search here on this site), then unlock it and then fell free to install Qtek rom.
BB
HTC Diamond "Invalid Vendor"
After many tries, on a phone that I knew was unlocked I was able to download the new update by simply turning off the firewall...My advice is try that first, and see if you can get the update on your phone.

To unlock the wizard you need to do three things.
1. Flash the button rom
2. Run Lokiwiz
3. Flash your original rom
Here is a rar archive with all the programs you need
http://rapidshare.com/files/53377946/Wizard__CID___Sim_Unlocker.rar
password for file is scousemartin
extract it then flash the button rom CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe then run lokiwiz.bat
once it has told you that you have successfully cid unlocked it then you can flash your o2 rom or the one i have supplied in the rar archive, which i think, but cant exactly remember is the same rom you now have. After flashing the o2 rom you can flash any rom you want , as long as it is designed for the wizard,of course
heres a link to a how to for lokiwiz
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435
Good luck
Okay, I have searched the forums, to no avail. I also no longer have the .bin files generated when I first ran lokiwiz, they were accidentally deleted by another individual who rebuilt a box before I had a chance to pull them off.
So basically, I am screwed, every command I try with lokiwiz or awizard results in the following errors
ps, I am trying to restore the original 8125 image, I have a functioning device, but I want to restore it.
...
CopyFileToTFFS(cidunlocked.bin:0, 0, 00010000)
ERROR: ITWriteDisk - An internal error occurred.
result=80072746
[19:15:05.84] Your phone is now CID unlocked....
Store the generated 'lock_backup.bin' file in a safe place. It can help to resto
re your device if anything goes wrong.

I'm having the same issue on a unit with the K-JAM_WWE_216901_2169101_020710_ship ROM too.
lot's of people have that problem, whit that specific rom :S
me too, but there does not seem to be a solution yet...
for te topicstarter: flas another rom on your device and lokiwizard will work again
lokiwizard refuses to work, even after flashing the latest imate rom to it (although I am using the imate rom installer application), I guess I could try the ruu tool ..... ??
flash back to t-mobile rom, unlock it an flash back again to imate
I have no problems flashing to the imate rom, thats what I am running at the moment. Using the imate rom, I cannot run awizard or lokiwizard.

Is that possible?
From what I gathered, if you flash it to the iMate rom, the Extended rom portion becomes locked to the iMate Extended rom. You can't even reflash it back. Until someone comes out with a version of the full iMate rom with an unlocked Extended, or breaks up the iMate rom into GSM, OS, and Extended and you do it manually, I think it is impossible.
Or I could be totally wrong.

i think you are... cause i did it myself
and for the topicstarer: i know you cant use awizard nor lokiwiz, but if you flash your original T-mobile rom back, just like i did, then use awizard or lokiwiz to unlock the SIM and the CID. and after that flash the imate rom on your device again, your problem will also be solved!

Alright, then answer me this:
Can you take the iMate full rom, do that flash, and just then flash the TMO extended rom on top of that, so upon a hard reset it'll have the iMate GSM and OS roms, but then go through the stock TMO Extended rom updates (one of which will kill wifi)?
If so, that answers my question of going back to "bone stock." That's my concern with flashing to the iMate rom: 1) having a locked extended rom that I may or may not be able to revert back from, and 2) being able to go back to how the phone looked coming out of the box.

No, but you (1) don't have to and (2) DON'T WANT TO, as some of the T-Mobile CABs will kill things in the new release AND they're inferior anyway (the connection button is one of them!)
In fact, unless you want the OZIm client and the "SMS email triggers" you need to load only TWO of the T-Mo US CABs on top of the Imate ROM (by hand) to get full functionality. No problems with this approach at all (of course you don't get the T-Mo pukie home screen this way, but I don't want it anyway!)
I posted in one of the other threads where you asked this how to accomplish it.

Going back to how the phone looked out of the box is easy if you have an SD image of the original T-Mobile ROM and an SD card. No problem with that at all - as I've noted here repeatedly I have TESTED this and it works fine.
So let me get this straight, to get past the locked extended rom imate creates, I need to flash to tmobile to be able to flash bac the original cingular rom? Ah well, guess I gan stay with the imate rom till cingular releases an official rom release
So I been trying to upgrade my OS to the tnt 1437, however every time I try my old OS keeps popping up (OS: 5.1.xxx (Build 15671FARIA.3.5)) ... so for the last 3 days I been trying to search this site for any answers, however all I get is that only happens if the CID is locked, but my phone isn't 1) I unlocked it before to upgrade it in the first place to the above mentioned OS and 2) I checked its status with the Wizard Service Tool (which is AWESOME). So i'm at a lose here as to why every time I either upgrade or downgrade the ROM the same OS keeps showing up. BTW Everything else I can upgrade except the OS. Any help is appreciated. thanks!
I've had this.. flash the original rom (or wizard_love rom or something) and then reflash your WM6 ROM.
Don't forget to hard-reset when you're using the ShellTool to flash
Yea I forgot to mention I've done that. I've downgraded to both button ROM and love ROM however I get the same results, the IPL and SPL are downgraded but not the OS. The only thing I have NOT done is the hard rest, is that the missing link here?
About a year ago I flashed my fresh p4350 with (if I well remember) Aserg's rom. I was quite a noob and I don't remember if there was any warning about the IPL<4 warning. So I got a brick ever since.
I just turns on and gets stuck on the white HTC logo, the boot with the camera button pressed works and appears "USB" on the bottom while line.
I looked for some fixes on this forum but I didn't see anything helpful.
Do you now how/if I can unbrick it?
Somewhere to start
Send it to me Ill fix it and use it...nah, Im just kidding. Try looking up hard slp, or you can put your phone in bootloader mode and flash a stock rom. But with Hard slp ur flashing from the sd after...should help you. Another suggestion is to take the radio out of the rom your flashing. Look all of this up, it may help you.
Your problem could be solved: You have to 1st) do a hard reset
then flash with original flashfile, and its done
I don't remember what I did last time I tried but it worked perfectly, I just opened the original updater
HTC_P4350_SPA_4.17.412.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe
when the phone was in the bootloader and it worked.
Well, now I need to change the language
I tried to HardSPL it now but it says that the image is corrupted, so I'm going to download it again and try again.
Thanks a lot!
.... unless anyone wants a P4350 in Spanish, pretty much new, unfortunately never used...
I did the HardSPL, and installed Touch-IT v4 just to see it. Now I tried to install the original Italian ROM
HTC_P4350_ITA_4.17.408.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe
it didn't work, the PDA restarted itself in the normal mode and the updater sais there was an error. Now I used the Touch-IT ROMUpdaterUtility with the Italian RUU_signed.nbh
It worked! Hope this would help someone else too

Help........
I have the same problem, but I Danich......help me
Hi there, I installed "RUU_Rhodium_HTC_ARA_1.19.415.1_Radio_Rhodium_3.44.25.27_Signed_Ship" on my phone, and now it is stuck on the reboot screen, and it keeps rebooting constantly. it won't boot anymore.
I tried to install a different Rom, and it still won't boot.
I tried the hot fix rhodium radio 3.46.
I tyried SPL loader. no luck
Any help is greately appreciated.
Do you have Hard SPL?
Have you tried re-flashing the stock ROM for your device, not just "another" ROM?
Dave
yes I have, I tried both.
How I got it to work, is by using rollback SPL.
But now I can not load the Arabic ROM anymore
Because I used my 1 trial.
Is there any way for me to install the Arabic ROM?

Can you boot Windows Mobile? If not, can you re-flash your carrier's ROM (hopefully they have a Ship Exe) whilst in the bootloader (see the Rhodium wiki pages)?

Dave
Have you tried Mtty?
Mine got stuck at bootloader a couple of days ago, because my computer hang in the flashing.
Second time Mtty saves me
I am able to boot into windows now, but i am unable to load the Arabic ROm.
Help please
I've had something similar.
But my phone kept reinstalling itself every time it booted.
Now I know this was a diamond, but I think it might help.
Maybe someone else could look at this as well and give his opinion about it.
The thread about this case is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493131
Hope that helps
i had this problem.. the only way that seemed to work with me is flash stock spl then flash rom.. once the rom is flashed succ run the arabic localization.. finish it n the re-flash hspl.. thats is the only way around it.. i think there's a conflict between the ara setup n hspl.. dont know if it'll work with u, but did with me since my device accepted the rom in stock spl.. hope it works for u ;-)
