SX66: upgrade, then battery ran out and unit won't power up - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

Hey all,
I've had an upgraded SX66 (1.4 cooked WM2003) for a few months now. Working fine, carrying it around with me and using it all the time.
The other week I left it upstairs without charging it - now it won't power up, sync etc. I had a spare battery for testing, the same problem happens. It does however, have the red 'charging' light on the corner of the device for about 20 - 30 minutes. If I pull it out, no go - but I can recradle & the light turns back on. Anyone experience this? Anyone have a workaround to resetting, reflashing, etc?
Since it went 'dead' here's a few of the things I've tried.
* Hard reset
* Charging 2nd battery
* upgrade with 'real' factory siemens firmware - since it can't sync it errors out (101)
* upgrade with maupgradeut_noid.exe util. With regular firmware, it claims to connect giving a here's what roms are on here's what we're installing screen. All lines empty. With the cooked roms it starts something up, says it's finished - but it still doesn't power up.
Any help appreciated, driving me crazy.

Have you tried entering bootloader mode?
Try Power + Record and reset

Turning Power on tilt. -- my issue

I just got my tilt. used it fro few days and applied few fixes and installed few software. everything work great. Yestrday morning received a phone call at 6:00 AM I answer talk to person end call (Phone was in changing using wall chager) around 7 am I pull chrger plug put it in pocket and went out side home. Aroung 8 when I needed to call i see blank screen. I hit power button, screen does not come up. I press and hold power nothing worked. removed battery put it back on, not worked as well. Removed sim card also did not work. Basically right now phone does not boot.
After issue when phone plug to charge top/left led show red but even with charging with and without battery phone does not power on. I have also tried soft reset and hard reset but seems to me those button only work when power is on. Can any guru help me to boot power back? I am getting replcament in few days but if some guru want me try some here and there i will happy to do that.
Does this called a bricked phone.

All hardware buttons suddenly stopped working!

I hope someone can help me with this, i went to bed last night and all i did was use opera and check my emails. I then pressed the top standby button to turn the screen off and went to sleep.
This morning i woke up and found i could not turn the screen back on. The home hardware button was lit up and nothing else was happening. Tried every button on it but the phone wouldn't wake up.
All I've done to the phone is hardSPL and have been running the Extreme topaz rom for the past 2 weeks happily.
I reset the rom to stock and no joy. I then did a hard reset and now its acting even weirder! After turning on, the screen is flicking between the phone dialing screen and the quick list screen constantly by itself!
Does anyone have any ideas? Its less than 3 weeks old!
So I've reflashed to stock rom and used the HARD SPL relocker and the phone is now only semi-broken. The rest of the hardware buttons are now working, but the power button at the top of the device may as well be dead. It has completely stopped working. it won't wake the device or turn off the device
This is a major bummer because the phone automatically turns the screen off after a minute and the only way I can get it back is to remove and put the battery back in. Looks like real bad luck for me. Back to warranty for repairs
Shortest time ever for a device to fail on me. Grrr.

Diamond reboot loop w. original ROM

hi there,
this morning, without any interactiom, i heard the vibration of my touch diamond restarting.(with original newest ROM from htc website that ran without any problem for several months). battery was about 80% yesterday evening.
but it wasn´t starting at all. after the HTC animation and the green windows mobile screen, it started again. after restarting for 20 minutes i took out the battery, put it in again and performed a hard reset as stated in the manual.
now, on the "rainbow" screen i get a message like
psoc diam stage_pvt 0x32
then i did the Volume-Up reset, and now i don´t even get the red version information in the lower right screen. as it doesn´t even start i cannot get an active sync connection.
any ideas? is my phone broken? i didn´t do anything special, and i wonder why it rebooted without interaction this morning.
any ideas what i can do?
thanks in advance,
jkersch
Mine started doing this about 2 weeks ago it woke me up in the middle of night while sleeping with its vibrator and start sound.
The only thing I have found is that my little reset button at the pen holder dosent work anymore. To do a hard reset i have to takeout the battery and then put it in, hold the volume key and enter key then power it to get it. Flashed by holding volume down and the power on, it hold for about 10min just enough to get the flash.
I managed to flash it once but it dosent help, it constantly reset at the thouch diamond screen. Some times i get to the green windows mobile screen.
As warrenty is out on my phone and ive given up and using another phone.
Same problem in a different thread
Have a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5279740.
install a new radio worked for me

[Q] Problems with update - HELP

Yesterday I started the update of my Vodafone Germany branded Lumia 920 by manually searching for updates.
Download and initialising of the update was fine. Then It notified me, that I can now install the update.
It started with a reset and then the Vodafone logo came up, then for a short time the Nokia screen and then two wheels like for settings came up, kept turning and nothing more happened.
Battery was 98%. I didn't touch it and left it running like that the whole night.
No Change, unless, the battery is empty now. A restart (pushing (VOL DOWN + CAMERA BUTTON + POWER BUTTON for 3 seconds) Just let it recharge a little, then come up with the wheels again...
Any suggestions, what I could do now?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, LordM

[HELP] Black screen randomly, have to hold power button to restart

Hi
So my phone has randomly started to die about once every other day. Screen goes black (i have always on screen) and no response from any of the buttons (power button, twice volume down button for camera). I have to hold the power button until it restarts/starts (don't know if it is dead or not). Anyone else has this issue? Only wierd apps that i havent hade before is blockada.

Baddar
Troubleshoot it.
Delete the app and see if it still happens. If it does, flash a raw firmware and completely wipe your device. if it still continues, its a hardware issue and you should exchange the device.

You're in custom or stock rom?
Im on stock with no modifications.
Phone auto shuts down
Did you find any solution same thing started to happen with me twice in 2 days
The way I fixed it... go to settings, Security & Lock Screen, click on the gear icon next to screen lock, then choose the first option Automatically lock, choose "Immediately" any thing other than that causes the screen to go black. I hope it works!
@Ahmed_x this didnt work for me.
So today i was about to miss my international flight because of this stupid phone deciding to die on me while on charging so no alarm went off.
Wtf is wrong with Asus? How could this have gotten worst with the new update. Are their developers ret**ded?
This phone is being returned unfortunately. Awesome phone but if u cant trust it to give a simple thing as alarm whats the point.
It happened to me twice in three months. The smartphone got stuck/freeze in standby mode: no response from the physical buttons or touch. I use the official android 9 rom.
I managed to restart it with the power button and volume up pressed for 15 seconds.
I hope that with android 10 this will never happen again.
Happened to me today, had to hold volume-down + power for about 10-15s to get it back.
very strange using latest firmware too (WW_Phone-17.0230.2004.60)
[HELP] My ROG Phone always turn off suddenly when charge
Please HELP My ROG Phone 2.
It's been more than a month if the charge will turn off unexpectedly. This situation is experienced until today. So that every time I charge, phone must be in the dead state. I've been very frustrated. Already doing factory data reset, only lasts for one week and back like that again.
Worse, in certain circumstances the handphone suddenly dead and hard to be turned on again. When charging the battery, sometimes the phone likes to not fill. I had to unplug and re-plug the charging cable to return it to normal. Its sucks. I bought this phone in a new condition with the official warranty on January. I already did update to Android 10 when available by the system. This issue occurs after the update.
I had thought the charger that I got from the factory was problematic, until I decided to buy a new charger with the original quality with 30watt power. But it turns out the same.
Same here my phone will turn off while charging. And it will keep rebooting. Sometimes my rog will not charge
My ASUS ROG2 is starting ti piss me iff noe.. Everything I play BR in CODM alwaiz black out..every single game black out. This is not good...Is this normal? Every game has to black out?...
