Ummm... I don't understand, what you're asking for...
Remember that with WM6 you need ActiveSync 4.5. Check your firewall, too - wcesmgr.exe and wcescomm.exe need to be unblocked.
i had the same trouble, Start>Settings>Connections>Usb to Pc>tick Enable advanced network functionality

Since your are using Windows Vista, you would need Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 installed on your PC in order to sync your device with your PC USB or Bluetooth. You can download it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx
When i recived a sms, the wm6 doesn't advise me in any way, so i don't realice that i got a message.
Also the hima doesn't wake up when a msg is incoming.
Is there any applet like the smsfix from wm5?
Many thanks
PD:: This is the best rom i've ever seen... Thanks to Helmi&Tofclock

ADB USB Drivers for screenshot

Hi. Sorry for bad english.
I have to do some screenshot with my HTC Wildfire. I cannot root it. I would to use DDMS but I can't install ADB drivers.
I have alredy downloaded USB Drivers r3 from SDK site.
I use Windows 7 x64 or Starter but it doesn't work.
How can I solve this issue?
Thanks a lot
I have solved the problem. I have forced the installation of ADB interface drivers without using the USB drivers of SDK.
Thanks
how did you do that?
On the memory card supplied with the phone are USB drivers for WildFire.
i've got a review unit without sd card
could someone upload the adb drivers?

Problem with milestone (USB)

Windows 7 doesnt recognize my SDCARD! but "Windows Media Sync" and motorola portal works fine!
I flashed again Tellus firmware 2.1 ... and seemed to have solved the problem,, sdcard mounted fine,so i clicked sync windows media ... and also worked ... and the portal as well. But after the windows installed the drivers of motorola´s Portal, i was no longer able to access the SDCARD. I think it has something with the drivers windows7 installed for the motorola´s portal because only stopped working after windows7 installed those drivers.
anyone can help me?
thanks, cya...

[Q]help I can't connect my x1 to pc

this my new phone.. I don't understand my xperia x1 couldn't detect on pc.. How I solve this problem??
Is my pc should install the driver?? or just plug to usb port??
please the instruction...
What os do you use on your pc? What rom on your phone? I little bit more information would be useful if you want somebody to help you.
are u already install activesync on ur pc?
That's why I asked for the os in use. Depending on the os it's Active Synch or the Mobile Device centre.
1. try this:
start --> settings --> usb to pc
untick "Enable advanced network functionally" or you can tick disk drive if you want to transfer files
2. if you are Windows XP users, please install ActiveSync
2. if you are Windows 7 or Vista, please install WMDC aka Windows Mobile Device Centre
it comes with the CD when you bought XPERIA X1 if you don't have it just GOOGLE!
3. If you are a Mac User, try Missing Sync or Sync Mate, IMHO Sync Mate is better
4. If you are Linux User, no idea I have nerver had good sense about Open Source, but try this: http://www.ehow.com/how_7225580_sync-windows-mobile-linux.html
If you have trouble with Active Sync or WMDC (I have experienced that with my Ex o2 XDA mini),
1. find programs that might block COMM port, it might be another PC Suite, in my experience it's my P910 Sony Ericsson Sync and Palm Desktop Manager, just unsintall them
2. Don't forget to tick enable USB @ COnfiguration (aka settings)
3. Find out if your phone detected when you tick "disk drive" @ USB to PC --> If not, might be faulty USB
4. try another PC (Windows) I have found it more compatible than Mac, that's the reason I have never bought and upgrade my Mac.
5. If you still can't access, try another stock ROM and see how it be...
6. If you are Windows User Computer, try to see if your phone really detected @ PC, click start, (Windows 7) click device manager or if youa re on XP, try to search it at Windows Properties, see if there's your device there!
7. Okay if you found it useful, pls click thank's button, I try to make any possibility that is possible. You won't be a zombie if you click thank's button

[Q] Xperia SP - ADB Drivers

Hi!
I cannot find ADB Drivers for Xperia SP (need them to root the phone )
Can someone provide a link to download them?
thanks!
Are you on 64bit Windows 8?
Coz I faced the same problem.
But then I tried rooting on a Windows 7 pc. And Windows automatically installed the correct drivers. Seems that adb isn't supported on 64bit Windows 8.
Sent from my C5302
Connect your Xperia SP via USB. (Don't forget to enable USB Debugging)
Then run the Software (http://adbdriver.com/downloads/) and choose ur phone, which should be listed in the list.

If you get error(mostly on windows 8/8.1) while installing driver; then you have to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement and give another try.
To Disable Driver Signature Enforcement:
1) Move the mouse pointer to the BOTTOM RIGHT of the screen and go to SETTINGS.
2) Click CHANGE PC SETTINGS
3) Choose GENERAL from the left side and under Advanced Startup click on RESTART NOW
4) Your PC will restart and you will see some options.
5) Select TROUBLESHOOT > ADVANCED OPTIONS > STARTUP SETTINGS > RESTART
6) Select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement and your PC will boot.
Now install driver using above given link.
