Is their a way to show the status of a BT headset being connected or disconnected on a Cingular 8125 ?
Currently the only way to know is to open the phone app and look for the icon in the top right showing the headset.
Is their a hack to show this icon on the Today window ?

Hi
i have PDA2 and install Bluesoleil from this page :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/vie...=0&postorder=asc&highlight=bluesoleil&start=0
After removing the said registry keys, soft reset the device and install bluesoleil. i get the error message "Your bluetooth device initialization fails! Do you want to configure it manually?"
I then select YES and choose USB from the list but my bluetooth icon still display an x beside it and i'm unable to use the bluetooth.

Hi,
I'm trying to connect Nokia HS-11W bluetooth headset to my xda2i.
When I do the settings thru bluetooth manager , it sees the nokia device as a headset and when I look its status it says the connection is just fine.
So everything seems ok but when a phonecall comes the headset doesn't pick up the phone. No voices on the headset, nothing. It's like no device is connected the xda2i although it is.
I can't speak thru the headset when I make a call either.
Can somebody help me get rid of this problem pls?
Thx
Maybe it's just my Tytn II but i'm not seeing icons when Bluetooth is turned on or an icon when a headset is connected. Does anyone else has this problem?? BT and the headset are working fine i just can't see icons that show that in the top of my screen.
I ony see it in the phone app.
Even there they don't show up...the only place where i can see BT is on is in CommManager (and ofcourse by looking at the blinking blue led).
Headset symbol only shows up when in a call. It did this too on my K-Jam.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party app that will display a bluetooth icon on the homescreen or top menu bar whenever a BT headset is connected?
Hello
I am a beginner both with the Kaiser and the A2DP . I have paired my Jabra 8010 BT correct and when I push the menu button I get the voice speed dial page with " no tag selected " so I assume my connection to the Kaiser is okay.
But when I want to use the stereo function for HTC Player or Windows mediaplayer the sound is not switching from the speaker to the headset .
Any idea what settings or steps I need to do to get the sound to the BT headset ?
There is as well no little Headset icon in the tool bar as set in page 176 of the manul .. (see I am reading first !)
Thanks for any help .

Did you pair the Jabra for A2DP? In the Kaiser's BT settings for the device, you should see two services, Hands Free & Wireless Stereo, and both boxes should be checked. If you see only one service, you'll have to re-pair the Jabra; if you see both, but Wireless Stereo isn't checked, check it.
hmm it looks more like a bug or a intended function.
I have both hands free and stereo profile.
When I delete the bluetooth pairing and re-pair it works like it should:
- Headset icon in menu bar
- when media player start the sound is automatic transfered to head set
but now ... when I switch out BT in the coms manager and switch it on again:
- no headset icon appears at all
- no transfer of sound from media player to head set
even the handbook says (page 176) run steps 1-3 of the paring again.
Does this means I need to re-pair mu stereo headset each time I want to have music transfered to the Heatset after switching off BT on the phone ???
That can not be true or ?

confirmed ... looks like before any usage of wireless stereo (after switch off/on BT) I need to go each time into the connection manager, bluetooth settings, left tab on Jabra, select set as stereo ... if this is done the headset Icon appears again in the menu.
I am the only one to whom this looks very complicated to just listen to your podcast ... ?
Why cant the BT profile hold the information that my headset is BT stereo ???

I seem to be having the same problem. Every time I turn on my Bluetooth, and every time I make a phone call, I have to un-check wireless stereo, save, then re-check it in order to listen to music via my Jabra BT8010.
I wish there was a fix for this.
Use A2DP toggle to re-connect from the today screen.
Nokia BH-900 BT headset can pair with Kaiser but can not connect to it.
When it's paired with Kaiser, the "set as Wireless Stereo" option is always grey; sometimes the "Set as hands-free" option is also grey. The headset icon never appears on the screen.

Can anyone help with this issue?
Thanks a lot!
