i apologise for any noobiness, but ive searched through all the threads and tried all the methods but to no avail.
i wish to unlock my qtek and remove the annoying vodafone branding.
i tried a rom downgrade and it didnt work
i tried the lokizip and it did'nt work.
i tried the mrclean rom upgrade and it said need a newer update.
Where am i to start?
current setup

ROM date 2/10/06
Radio Version 02.07.10
protocol version 413.1.03
Extrom version 2.17.7.9300

I just upgraded my qtek 9100 yesterday to the latest firmware 2.17.7.2 WWE...everything was working smooth...until today all of a sudden I lost my phone signal. Now its always 'Searching' for signal or says 'No Service'. I first thought it was my SIM...but i tried my SIM in another phone and it works fine. I also tried my friend's SIM in qtek 9100, but that doesnt work either.
I tried soft reset few time, and also did hard-reset...still no luck. I also tried manual search etc...but that doesnt work either.
Anyone else has the same issue??? PLEASE HELP!
Is it the firmware which messed it up, or is it the phone's hardware??

i got the same problem... let see if there are more gathering this problem... also a 9100 mda vario from tmobile, just unlocked it, but now my debitel sim card(kpn network) does not want online...weird....
Did it happen after your upgraded the firmware?
I was thinking of downgrading the firmware and see if anything changes...before i send it to the qtek support.

I have recently upgraded my SPV M2000 to the M5000 and have donated (for a small sum), my old M2000 to my mother-in-law.
I was wondering, if I could flash the orange branded phone as it is with a t-mobile or generic flash.
I have a few reasons for this, mainly the orange software that is bundled is causing all sorts of problems with T-mobile, and also, that each time you reset the phone, it loads them all back on!

You need to spend some time in wiki and the ext rom kitchen to understand the branding (its the EXT rom that has all of that).
So if you dont wont to reload everything when you hard reset then you need to flush the ext rom or only have what you need in it. We call it cooking.

but There is always errors...
I have tryed to unlock the CID with the programa Lokiwiz02b but It doesn't seem to work.
My main problems are: I cannot receive via bluetooth (but I could do it before erasing the phone
I cannot connect to Wi-Fi networks.
I was having problems synchronizing with Outlook 2003.
I've been reading a lot in the forum, and I have tryed a lot of things.
Anyone could offer me any help?

My qtek 9100 not work...is block to boot screen...and nothing else... please help
ddns- you need to update your ipl/spl to something recent (at least above 2.26)im running 3.08 and it works fine, the link is located here....http://rapidshare.com/files/31072268/IPL_SPL_3.08.rar.html....just download and run it...itll update with the RUU but it will keep you current ROM the same....

Yesterday I downgrade my G3 with the TMO Image 12-2005. Just for testing the BB-Client for Instantemail. And since that it isn't possible to update the wizard.
If tried different ROMs. It is allways the same issue. The Updateprozess goes completely through without an error. But only the Splash and the Extended Rom will be upgraded successfully. The Radio and OS still stands on the old version.
Last I tried the actual Molski ROM (RUU_Molski.Biz_AKU2.3-226102_22610105_024711_WWE-30MB-CF2.exe) and have now this device Information:
ROM : 2.24.10.1 WWE
ROM date: 4/17/06
Radio: 02.25.11
Protocoll: 4.1.13.12
ExtRom: 2.26.10.2 Molski.Biz
The Update Utility allways shows the Image Version 1.2.0.0
It's enough to drive me to despair. Hope you can help me!

Follow the instructions. Run the 1.05 a second time if your SPL doesn't downgrade to 1.x
