after rom update freeze in splash screen

I have upgrade mijn rom aftere unlock with awizard a then u then c
now freez in splash screen
have done another update but freeze each time what I also do,
have someone solution for this ?

What ROM was on your device, and what ROM did you flash to? I've seen freezes on the splash when, for whatever reason, the bootloader can't load the OS portion of the ROM.

the old rom version was 1.06 dutch and did the 2.18 dutch rom update of xda ftp server
if i hard reset the pda also give he "format failed" knows
someone you of it more?

Not understand you so much, but the situation seems to be bad. If you got the "format failed" error message, your ROM probably is damaged and you have to replace a new one. But anyway, try to get into bootloader and reflash again and again. It may help

Did you sort this out? I can get to the multicolored screen and flash my wizard but it never boots past the second splash screen. I think the extended rom is corrupted somehow and I need to clear it but hard reset just ends with format failed? Any ideas?

I have the same problem, the phone is cingular 8125 rom version 2.25. I got it in this state and I cannot make it boot. I tried to install button rom,but even after the successful installation it has the same behavior. I see the splash screen and the software versions and that's it. After that I succesfully reinstalled cingular version 2.25, but nothing changed. In order to power off the battery needs to be rebooted. Does anyone have any idea????

Hi everyone! I am badly need help to fix my MDA. My MDA stuck when it boot up to T-mobile white screen. I tried to do hard reset by pressing and holding Conn Manager and Voiddial buttons while pressing reset then press Send. I got and message
Format FAT Partition
Format is Failed
Now I am still able to flsh with any ROM but I just doing the same thing, stuck on boot screen. Is it the end of my MDA? Please hel

If I have the whole white screen, the device was like in bootloader. Flash can start and than wil all OK..

What should I do? any rom for me to flash to solve this problem?

You could flash any originaly ROM with write IPL/SPL
and quicky. If the battery will turn off. the Wizard will bricked

I flashed with T-mobile ROM 2.26. It went thru 100% but when the device reboot, It just stuck on the T-mobile boot screen wich saying
IPL: 2.26
SPL: 2.26
GSM: 02.25.11
OS: 2.26.10.2

he was in bootloader.. He hasn´t brick her phone by wrong xG IPL/SPL

Charmer crashed with the new Aku 3.3!

Hello!
I tried to flash my Charmer with the new german Aku 3.3. At first everything seems to be ok, but at 95% it stops and i got the Message: update error- there is an comunication problem! So what can i do? I tried to flash the old rom back but there comes also at 95% a message: invalid command - nfb file cannot be used for your pda!
Please help me !

Go to bootloader mode, then try to flash RUU rom (1.x). You can find it on Charmer wiki.

It doesn`t work too, it always stops at 95% has anyone another idea?

Yes i tried hard reset, but it is always in bootloader!

I have also the same problem. Tried to upgrade to version 3.3. Everytime it stops at 80%. I don't know why?! I can repair it with the software and re-run it. But it has the same effect.
Now i will try to downgrade to 2.6 again. I really don't understand what causes the problem. I hope i will get this thing running again....
EDIT: I reflashed the device with the older 2.6 ROM and it is working right now. However I didn't really get why it gets stuck at 80% with 3.3 ?!?!

The aku3.3 is up to date the bootloader version!!!
IPL and ISP version now is 3.00.

I´ve got the same: My charmer is in Bootloader IPL 2.06.0001 SPL 3.08.0001
I can´t downgrade to AKU 2: Please order a newer Version.
Every try to upgrade to AKU 3.3 failed at 95% with Error 326.
Is there any help for my charmer???

I got the same problem with them and my first pda uk rom already empty screen and then i try with my scrond pda German rom it the same problem and now just only show in bootloader screen.Have i ask someone who knowage about this he told me that if SLP in you PDA have chang it be hard to repair.So,I think I lose 2 PDA did I try to flash in T-Mobile Official Rom de that i hope to develop it but i hve to kill 2 Charmer.Who take responsibilities,T-Mobile right ???

Ok no problem you can repair it! At first you have to brand your device with the rom you want to! After 95% the Problem will come again! When it stops you have to go with a reset to bootloader again.When your device is in bootloader you have to install the Radio Rom from this thread:

After that your device will be able to boot again and it should work!- But the Problem during the installation will stay,so you have always to use this way to flash your Mda compact II!
In the new rom there must be a problem with the radio rom and this causes the broken device.

You can find the radio rom also on the ftp server. Prophet> Radio Roms>Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.11.exe
You can try different Radio Rom versions, i have flashed the v.247.11 and it worked.
Normaly it should work!

Stuck in BA WM6 Upgrading

I'm Stuck in BA WM6 Upgrading.
I was at the HTC_Blueangel_WM6_Wizzard Upgrade 4
After execute the installer file I performed a Hard Reset
Colored stripes (the bootscreen) will appear on the screen but I can't ge no debugger screen at all: the BA remain in Bootscreen with R 1.11.0 at the right bottom of the screen.The battery was full. I've tried the mtty procedure as well...no way out. Any clue ????

Mine is a Qtek 9090 and didn't have any trouble...

Same problem here, wm6 was already running; downgraded to 2003 SE to repartition the extrom, wanted to flash to wm6 again; now my xda3 is stucked after flashing, only r 1.10.0 is shown, no chance to carry on...???

I've got imate pda2k ct2cwj...and Heinzibua I'm stuck on R 1.11.00 do you have an Imate as well ??? cause I guess the official XDA procedure doesn't work for this kind of model (mine was an Italian W2003).

wm6 worked well on my xda3 , problem was only after repartitioning the extrom.

I'm going to think I did somenthing wrong during the extrom steps..so i've returned back to wm2003 and I'm going to try the upgrade again

please tell me, if you find the solution...

running again
i repartitioned storage in 2003SE set to 20000 kb.
flashed to WM6, no problem now, storage is 41,25 MB, but running !!!

I did it too, I had to reinstalled w2003 and dit the Upgrading BA WM6 wizard again.....
after UNHIDE the rom, this time (and not in the previous upgrading), I did it the rom format using MTTY after that I ran the upgrade procedure and I got the WM6 running.
Happy for both of us to reach the goal......

tried to set storage to 60mb again, stuck again, also if i do just the same procedure as yesterday it is stuck; start to hate this device.

try this...
1. downgrade to 2003
2. copy the utils to the phone(extrom utils and repart_doc.exe)
3. install extrom utils...
---a. tap unhide... ok.
---b. tap unlock... ok. may throw an error but still ok...
---c. reset...
4. run Repart_DOC
---a. Set it to 128 byte
---b. Go/Start/Format (it should succeed)
5. reset to bootloader
---(press and hold record + power button then stick reset)
6. flash WM6 ROM
7. cold boot (press and hold power button then stick reset)
8. (optional) if stuck in the "tri-color"(white isnt a color ) screen...
---Hard Reset. Using No/Yes/Yes option.
reading further about the Repart_Doc topics...
128byte is the smallest you can format/resize the extrom
to maximize the storage in WM6.

Thx, that´s exactly what i did many times without success...
but now it works, after upgrading radio rom there also was no problem with upgrading to WM6; 60 MB rom; i only want to upgrade to radio rom 1.15, then i´m happy.

Phone keeps hard resetting

I have just tryed to flash both newest laurentius rom and newes kwbr rom
Flashing goes ok, but when all files are loaded, phone just resets and starts all over again.
im on spl-1.56 Olinex
Help needed

Whenever you flash a new rom your phone will automatically reboot and start up again. The phone will need to be setup again with date/time etc but connections etc should automatically setup itself.
This is similar to a hard reset as everything has been wiped from phone apart from OS and whatever you had stored on SD Card
Once setup go to Settings > System and it should state which rom you have installed

When finished loading files, it starts over as you says, but then rom starts loading again. its like it hard resets all the time instead of just resetting..

Ah, right. Apologies. Now I understand your problem better.
Had you ever successfully flashed a rom? Or has thius always happened with a cooked rom?

You can better ask it in L26 ROM topic, but I know that Laurentius ROM (2.3 or 2.4) KEEPS hardresseting automatically due to bugs in his cooked rom. After 2 or 3 times automatic HR it stops....

Ok, sounds like a hardware problem to me. I've had only automatic Hard Resets with L26's Rom. No problems with Kwbr or Dutty's roms.
Try flashing via USPL and tell us how it goes.

had same problem with l26 rom will never use laurentius rom's again, dutty's and miri's roms are the best

i just managed to flash danish ship rom, but cant seem to flash stock uspl
i will see if phone starts up wit danish ship rom

It worked.. My phone is now alive with danish ship rom..
I will now try to flash newest from Miri..

Anyway, take a look into you SD Card through you PC...is there a folder named "sdconfig.txt"?...if so, take a look into this "sdconfig.txt" and, please, tell what is written into it...

Cant flash miris. Just stays at 0 %

managed to get phone back to hard spl thanks to crackwhores fantastic guide.
And at the moment im flashing miris newest rom..
