Help installing Original ROM after Upgrading to Custom

Hi
I tried upgrading to the rom below
Custom_RUU_Wizard_1050402_101_11210_O2_ENG_CID.exe
but it made my imate totally sluggish and really slow, especially when opening mesages etc. I decided I wanted to revert back to the original imate ROM but when I was installing it it failed before even getting to 1%
It stayed at the point where my k-jam was red blue green etc
Anyone suggest why this might be the case?
Also can someone explain what the CID unlocker is used for? Does it allow you to 'downgrade' ROMs?
Thanks for your help guys. I'm still quite new to this
Scaseman
CID unlockeris is needed to be able load roms that are not made for your phone... like MDA Vario without CID unlocker cant take rom that was made for Qtec and other way...
try RUU_Prodigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe
its the best rom for me... make sure you run CID unlocker first and after WM5 loaded hit reset on your phone so it wont load cabs from extended rom (if you dont want them)

You know what the totally histerical thing about this is? This is the exact same reason I made my first post. LOL.
Alright I'm gonna try to help you seeing as how it doesn't look like too many others are looking here.
I have several questions first before I can help you.
1. Who is your wireless service provider? IE: T-Mobile, Cingular, Etc...
2. What Is your IPL/SPL?
Answer these 2 questions for me and I will be able to better help you.
Thanks for the quick reponse
Now the irony is i am here in nepal and i use the phone as a simple mobile phone, but as far as i know i remember flashing a T-Mobile ROM while upgrading to WM6, the IPL and SPL both are 2.26, i unlocked the device while upgrading..
Thanks
Kushal

Hey!
ok lets c if I may be of some help here,if u r in bootloader screen than try to reflash again T-mobile 2.26 rom and if it goes alright than go on to flash any other wm6 cooked roms.
or
if it doesnt flash than i wud suggest u reflash back the buttons 105 rom to get back to ipl/spl 1.05,than again use lokiwiz tool to unlock cid & reflash T-Mobile to gain ipl.spl 2.26
hope it works out.it happened once with me also, I did the same & now I'am running wm6 XM6r3 Rom,Secondly u can use the WST TOOL by Mestrini to verify ur device status, u can even Cid unlock ur device with it, Goodluck
Yup man flashing the T-mobile 2.26 did the job..
Great thanks for the same..

8125 Reception Problem & Backlight

Alright, so i decided to finally get into my 8125's skin.. so i followed tutorials on this website.. started by using button's downgrader and then used the lokiwiz to unlock the CID and SIMLock.. after that i used the T-mobile 2.26 ROM and after that I installed Farias WM6 ROM.. the problem is that now I do not get any cell phone reception when I put in a T-mobile card or any other card and it just keeps on searching and searching.. also the flash light at the back of the phone is also half lit.. i checked by switching it on through the camera function in which it goes full strength but I would say its abt 20% right now.. does anybody know any remedy?
My easiest advice, since this happened directly after flashing then work on the principal that its the culprit. So just reflash it and make sure u first flash with a stock ( non custom made ) rom.
Hope it helps!
thanks for the reply.. i was beginning to think nobody would be able to help me.. anyways.. i tried to flash it with the OEM rom i got from the HTC website but that didnt help.. any other suggestions?
