Out of the blue (I haven't changed or installed anything) my battery indicator icon on the Start bar gets sporadically replaced with a little clock icon that is used to display upcoming appointments. I say sporadically, because I can't duplicate the problem at will. Sometimes it's one, sometimes the other. Soft reset didn't fix it. Very strange. Any ideas? I'm WM6.0 running the Kaiser today screen since '07. Thanks... Bob
OK! GPS is working fine for me. Just that it takes forever to lock when there's no active data connection. Otherwise is a beauty. Now my problem is one hooked to sats the icon stop blinking which is normal but then it wouldn't disappear after I've switched off GPS. I mean to say that the icon stays there even after GPS has been switched off. Also when this happens it doesn't speak to satellites nor attempts to see them in lbstestmode. I have to restart my phone again for the icon to disappear and the phone to start talking to the satellites.
BUMP to the top!
In Gingerbread sometimes the bars for the wifi, 3g and signal indication are lit in a bright gray and sometimes (most of the time green).
Does anyone know why? Or what the difference between the two is?

Yes, green bars notifies about connection with google services. If you try to run talk when bars are grey you will se that it's signing.
Cheers!
I recently installed miCoach, but I got a problem with the GPS (beside the usual inaccuracy).
After 2-3 minutes that the screen goes off, the GPS just doesn't work anymore > the symbol at the top dissapears and then I have to toggle the GPS icon in the taskbar to regain the GPS.
Is there some kind of energy saving option to keep the damn GPS on when the screen is off?
I'm running JVB stock deodexed.
Verizon S8+ acting up.
Signal stays at 1 bar and jumps to 3 bars back and forth when i try to make a call.
Initially, it will take few seconds before call is made, then call is active and 3 bars are showing.
Constant dropped calls. People cant hear me or vice versa.
Text messages dont go through unless i open the dialer to wake it up ?
Am i waking it up or what ?
Tried network reset.
Tried hard reset.
Tried different sim.
Carrier irrelevent since different sim that has 4 bars on another phone acting exactly the same.
Issue persists.
I observed this behavior in LG V20. Bars go up when making a call but then drop.
