Uninstall camera application - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

I'm now running AKU 3.2 1.3.2 on SX66. But the camera application didn't get uninstall.
I have DelCDetect.exe in my (\Storage Card\Extrom\) directory when flashing the rom.
Did I miss something? Can I remove it manually?
I thought the rom has it disabled by default and only install for people with PDA that has camera.

uninstall problem

i have installed Multilingual support v0.3 Build 415 on my touch pro and all i want is to simply uninstall it but i can't find it in "Remove Programs" moreover a multilingual support icon appeared in settings and when i open it it's just infos about the software no tabs no options no nothing.
Know i tried to remove it manually through resco explorer and register editor with no luck.
I even downloaded the recent version of Multilingual support v0.3 Build 416 and when in the process of installing it tells me that the old one will be removed when approving a message appears that it cannot be uninstalled.
Is there a solution for this? is there a safe mode? how can i remove this program?
Please help

uninstall programs that does not show on add remove?

i recently upgraded to a new rom, it came with lots of software which is really cool, but it is eating up my ram, anyone know how to manually uninstall those software?. they don't show in the add/remove too.
those programs are all a part of the ROM image and so you cannot uninstall them in that sense. If you're not happy with the ROM, try to flash a lite or clean ROM so you can then install just the apps you want. Alternatively, you can make your own ROM using the Kitchen:

problem with Remove Programs in my X1

I met a strange problem. Whatever I installed on my X1, it didn't show in the list of Remove Programs. I have to use SKtools to uninstall software.
Does anyone know how to solve it?
Mod. edit: not t&a related, moved to general
strange, far as I remember all my installed apps where always properly listed in remove soft
can you tell what rom you are on and name some of the apps you use? might help getting feedback
I used stock rom -GR version.
Problem was happened after I install TF3DHB2 and panel for it (download from thread [Panels]Sense/TouchFlo3D, Titanium, SPB Mobile Shell, Androkkid, iFonz 2, Infinity ). Since TF3DHB2 doesn't work well, I uninstall it and install TF3DHB3. Then it is missing from list of Remove Programs. Software installed after can not be shown on the list except Spb mobile shell. I tried mortscript and it is missing too.

[Q] AOSP Calendar on Froyo / JPM Firmware?

Anyone got the AOSP Calendar and CalendarProvider apps working on the Froyo firmwares? Specifically JPM?
I am following the instructions in this post, which worked on my old Eclair firmware, but on JPM, they don't - after I have deleted the Calendar and CalendarProvider APK and ODEX files, I go into Manage Applications, but the option to uninstall com.android.calendar and com.android.calendarprovider is greyed out. Then, after I reboot, they are completely gone from Manage Applications. I am able to install the Calendar.apk from CyanogenMod 6 for the Nexus One, but when I try to install the CalendarProvider, I get an Installation Failed message. The provider never installs, and the Calendar app force-closes when I run it. Same if I use the APKs from Cyanogenmod 5.0.8 for the Nexus One.
I really loathe the Samsung calendar app...
Hi there,
I would like do the same, any ideas?
thx
I feel exactly the same, really dislike the samsung calendar app. I've been working with Jorte, but that has some problems of its own (sync problems). Anyone got the AOSP Calendar working on a JP6/JPM phone?

[Q] Cognition 3.04 ROM & Issues

I just flashed my stock ROM with Cognition 3.04. It looks pretty good and improved the performance. I get around 1500 on Quadrant BenchMark.
But still I have some problems in few applications. As soon as I snooze my alarm, the alarm application Closed (Force Close). I had the same problem with few other application.
Any suggestions on avoiding this on Cognition ROM!!!!
With force closes you can try to uninstall or reinstall the app, or reflash the rom. Make sure you don't have a lagfix active when you flash. For your clock app I would backup using titanium backup, uninstall clock and then restore the clock. Just my suggestions.

Cognition's default behavior is to enable the lagfix on it's first boot so you really don't need to worry about that. As for reinstalling the clock app, open the zip file you used to install Cognition and go to the system/app directory, pull out the clock apk, and then drop it onto your phone in the same directory.
