Bricked my 8125 w/T-mo 2.26 Rom HELP PLZ!

Wondering if anyone can help,
I have an 8125 which I CID unlcoked and SIM unlocked and upgarded to the latest official Cingular ROM.
I then downgraded back to the original shipping rom and RE-CID unlocked the phone.
Then I loaded the 2.26 T-mo ROM and the phone just hung at the splash screen.
So I went into the bootloader (camera held Down) and reloaded the factory ship 1.8 ROM and now it's hanging on that splash screen.
Can anyone offer any help? Reply, PM, e-mail [email protected]HING to help!

Tried your rom, loaded, but now I'm hanging on your splash screen.
I did also try a hard reset and I get the format failed.
Anyone else got any ideas. Can't find a ROM that will get past the splash....

I'd downgrade to the 1.05 and take it from there.

I've tried a number of roms.. Buttons 1.05 custom rom, that didn't work, and the one being the K-jam K-JAM_WWE_1010903_106_10110_ship.exe from the XDA ftp site.
I'm still hanging on the splash with the following data:
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.06
GSM 01.01.10
OS 1.1.9.3
And a hard reset still gives a format is failed.
Any more ideas? Please?

Need SD image
Ok...none of the RRUs seem to work, so I'm desperate to try the SD card path, I downloaded the image on the FTP server, but when I load it onto the CD card with NTRW I get the "parameter is incorrect" message. I've ignored it like poeople say.
I Insert the SD card, get to the bootloader, but get no indication that it sees the rom image on the card, I've done it with and without USB.
Can anyone offer some direction, I've read many a post out there, but can't seem to figure out where i'm going wrong. Perhaps someone has an SD backup image they could FTP to me, I have an FTP server avaialble.

While I didn't get much response, I still want to thank the group as reading about 100 posts and taking bits and pieces saved my bacon. I did a successful SD backup of an 8125 with my laptop at a Cingular store...very cool reps and reloaded it on my brick.
If anyone needs an SD backup image of the Shipping 8125 ROM or the 2.25, let me know and I'll FTP it to you.

I need sd buckup. Now my wizard hung at splash screeen, only way to revive it is the sd backup.

For mistake install in my G4 the rom RUU WIZARD 10.2.0.8 2.61.11 PV FIX2, it has changed the IPL to 3.08 and now does not ignite me, does not synchronize me, anything of anything. Died. Can I recover her?, and since?

Changing the IPL and/or SPL on a G4 usually turns the phone into a brick (it: its dead). Try getting to the bootloader screen (hold down the camera button while you power it on.) If you can get to the "rainbow" screen then you can hook up your USB cable and flash your carriers latest official rom and see if that corrects this. But my guess is you can't even get to the bootloader screen due to what has happened.
Beyond that, you will need to look into doing a JTAG recovery. I've never done this and don't know how its done (have just seen some posts indicating people with bricked phones were able to save their phone this way, so you will have to search for it (or hope one of those people posts back here)).
Since this is a G4, I'd suggest you post in the Wizard G4 forum and you might get more help there. Then use the search feature here (or google search) to see what you can find out about JTAG on a wizard.

HELP!!! Device (Qtek 9100) dead after upgrading.

Hi, i followed the instruction fro unlocking my device (Qtek 9100) and then installed IPL_SPL_3.08. After that i tried installing Crossbow_Reloaded_1.7_Final and my device rebooted and it now doesn't turn on! I tried removing the battery for a while but still... Is there anything i can do to save my device?
PS: i first installed a 2.xx IPL and SPL but then the "Crossbow_Reloaded_1.7_Final " would not load saying it was incompatible URR version or something similar, so i instaled IPL/SPL 3.08.
My device now won't start or charge. It seems dead Is there abything I can do about it?

If you didn't figure out your device is G3 or G4, and you can't even power on the device, then it is a brick now. (G4 Wizard cannot upgrade IPL/SPL)
You need to either recover it using JTAG or replace the unit if possible.

Firstly i followed this guide:

"0. First determine if you got a G3 or a G4 device. When you turn on your device from can can see you're IPL and SPL version on the screen. If you got IPL/SPL 1.xx or 2.xx you've got a G3 device. If the IPL/SPL shows 2.xx.xxx1 you've got a G4. Go to step G3.1 if you got a G3 and G4.1 if G4."
My device had 1.xx IPL/SPL and i used "Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2" to update it to 2.26. the procedure was successful.
I then CID-unlocked the device and then flashed to "AKU2" successfully once again.
I then flashed to IPL/SPL 3.08 (since i determined i had a G3 device ) and that's when y device did not start again.
Providing the above can anyone tell e wether there is any way of saving my device?

dont put too much hope on this JTAG thing. It is still no details on this yet. Try getting the unit into bootloader mode (3 colour screen) and flash again if possible. If you are not able to get it in to bootloader mode, chances are, you have a bricked.

I took the device to an HTC service store but he said not to expect much and that i would probably need a new mobo. When i hear from him and if the news are bad i will probably try the JTAG thing. Does anyone have some info, links etc about JTAG for Qtek 9100? someplace to start from. If it IS bricked i might as well give it a shot.
Any recommendations always welcome.

Someone posted in the forums in the past few days that they had successfully recovered a Wizard using JTAG, so there is hope.

I suggest asking nicely for cesarr4 to share the info...
Also, sounds like you had a G3 (since you had a 1.x IPL/SPL to start with) and it sounds like the 3.08 IPL/SPL you flashed maybe was for G4 only..

Thanks titus666 . Now i got my hopes up again! I just caled the technician i took my wizard to and he told me there's nothing he could do. (he only could help if the device would turn on apparently, but if it would i could try doing that myself. Wasn't too helpful but i had to try. HTC specialist they say. anyway.)
I just asked cesarr4 for more info and hopefully i will gather enough info and try and fix it myself. Will post my results when i do.

USB port not working, how to revert back to OEM rom for warranty?

Hey guys...as the title states, is there anyway i can revert back to the OEM Tilt rom if my mini usb port is not working. I can't flash as is, i know you can't flash through bluetooth...but is there anyway to put the rom in a cab, or any utility that will allow me to convert the rom into a file that can be opened from the microSD?
i tried searching and only found a solution for g3 phones, and i believe the tilt is a g4. not sure that it matters, but i am currently running the q-mobile 1.2 rom.

If you are using HARD-SPL you may be able to flash by taking the .nbh and renaming it KAISIMG.nbh and putting it on the root of the MicroSD card. This has been covered many places though............

thank you, as i said...i was searching in the hard spl thread. and take it easy man, as i said, i SEARCHED. in the many combinations of keyword searches i did with the built in search, and google searh...i assure you that this never came up.

Hard SPL

Need help with hardspl- I'm geetting error that "Hard spl is for non commerical purposes........." - when I haven't even did hard spl.
Also when doing manually - screen freeze up when I run it on device.
This is what is on phone:-
RHOD300 32M MI-BC
SPL-0.87.0000
This is a At&T phone(GSM)
Have been trying to hardspl for a week but with sucess.

Did you make sure that you have internet access during the process from the computer that you're using to do the Hard SPL with?
I wasn't able to use the automatic mode for my AT&T Tilt 2 either. I had to use the "SSPL-Manual-Rhodium.exe" and go about doing it through the manual method. Have you tried that?
