I think its best if we create a new thread to be able to distingish between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3. Big thanks to Helmi_c for this one.
It does install and boot. No major flaws, although it boots in Landscape mode. I used the EXTROM from 1.3.2.

D3d installed and working very well.
new problem:
Having troubles with the Broadcom BT stack. I can't get it to come up. It keeps giving me the insufficient driver memory message, even with both patch 1 and patch 2 installed. I am going to try going back to the MS driver although I think that everyonr here agrees that the Broadcom is much more stable and user friendly.
can someone plz gimme a link for it?

Hey guys there are 2 new files on the ftp server,one is named AKU3.2 1.3.3 which is about 10MB in size,this one is incomplete,U should download the other one which is named AKU 3.3 v1.3.3 and it's 29MB in size

Well, done, already spitted trough all big topics for wm2005 last weekend, horrible to do so by the way(spended more than 20 hours on this fora, shall not mention all others):evil: for a little effort. (yes, sometimes skipped some reply's)
Also copied the half of the ftp servers to my pc :lol:
Some of the stuff of the extended roms there is useless for BlueAngels, also some things can work, or needs to be patched, but to find out what will work for me under wm2005 takes some time.
Sure normal applications work, but a working midlet manager, still no luck for me. :evil:
But renember that a Himalaya and the BlueAngel are totaly different devices, (also wm2003 and wm2005)common thing like a bootscreen will not work, as for now. caller-id is totaly obsolete, (don't know for Hima).
The fax of my original ext rom did gave errors, during install. :evil:
At the moment the wiki of the BlueAngel is totally outdated, since there is so many fixed.
Also from M. a ba_wm5_fix_v3.rar versie on the wiki still reverts to V1.
(Think i missed a reply to? i'm not reading a topic of 10+ pages every day again starting at page 1 due to Changes)

I Have the same problem. When I try to install the MMS cab, I get saying it's not signed with a trusted certificate. I followed the link and downloaded the Version 3 Patch Cab. It made no difference. Any other ideas?

That's the version I was using, I tried the one you linked to in case mine was corupt or something but still go the error message. Is there a way to stop WM 5.0 checking for a digital signature?

well i managed to got it working on a PH20B by installing the latest signed rom. (still the test one)
Now Version 3 is out: not on my system yet.

04. Some help file and Some Silly Picture/images has been strip out from the ROM to create space for more usefull app.
Tips:
01. Disable Sound (Sound & Notification >> Events) might help system speed.
02. Disable Sound in phone (Phone Settings >> Keypad >> Off) might help phone speed.
03. Backup ur PIM with active sync first (Contact, email, etc) before u upgrade to AKU3.0 if u upgrade it from old rom (anything below AKU3.0 ROM)
been use it for 4 days now... seems stable...btw its still beta, and might be not suitable for daily use, input is welcome...

For anyone download before please re-upgrade ur ROM with the newest one, since the previous AKU.3.0 has a critical bug. (missing files)
Please read the readme file, I dont hv time to update Wiki page, I think the information in Readme file is enough to flash ur rom and since no 'real' extended rom so no further preparation is needed, but u might consider to make ur old Extended_ROM size to 128kb to make more storage space for ur device.
Btw The EXTROM folder is included Indonesian GPRS/MMS Setting, if u not Indonesian just delete it and change with ur county/region setting CAB, just follow the ilustrated method on the Cfg.txt/Autoconfig.txt file to make changes that suite ur need.
With the Global Contacts Access plugin from Microsoft U can use the central/global exchangeserver address book. (Thanks to xdaradar for the info)

I've just installed the new rom and so far so good. Installation went smootly, active sync is working (and much faster then on aku2.3).
The first thing I notived was the option to SKIP the moving of the appointment during the start-up. This has been something that has annoyed me a lot. Finally the option to skip it .
The other thing I have noticed are the soft-buttons: They are not assinged (and default to "active sync").
Other then that, it looks good and I will start to install some software now.

hmm... try this 2 cab... install OpenCert.CAB first if it still cant, try the FinalCert.CAB then. If it still cant.. I'm confuse then.. or send ur cab to my mail at [email protected] let me try it.

Okay found a problem. Pocket Hack Master 3.33 won't install. Says "Critical Component Missing"
Never had this before. Tried reinstalling it several times, no go. What version of the .NET framework does this ROM run?

Everything works first time that I have tried, Pocket MSN, all the Apps, even WiFi in Comm Manager (Clicked on 'Settings' within Comm Manager, turned on WiFi... worked off the bat, and switches on/off no probs!)
Off to take a look at the A2DP... don't expect too much, no matter what I did with AKU2.3 it wouldn't start the service... but I'll give it a shot )
Off to rebuild the server under the stairs as an Exchange Box to make the most of the Push functionality !
Edit: EtenPack Call Filter doesn't play... 'Cannot open 'PfUi'...' not an issue, I can use an alternative!

Superb job helmi - really, just an excellent ROM.
I have two (minor) issues with the push email though;
Each time a new email arrives I get an alert (with sound) along with a preview of the message - in the AKU 2.3 ROM you did I would get a silent notification just saying 'xx messages unread'. I much preferred the older type of notification.
Spam is now appearing in the inbox - even though Outlook has filtered it into it's junk mail folder - again the AKU 2.3 ROM didn't do this.
Is this AKU3 standard functionality now or are these settings we have some sort of control over?

Don't know much about it! I've been informed about his new ROM for few hours on a Vietnamese handheld forum. It's worth a try, because there were some good feedbacks and comments after having flashed his new ROM.
I am very happy with this ROM since I can use UptoDate for PPC with no problem at all.

In my first try, it was a litter bit slower than Helmi's. Even when CPU Clock was overclocked to 520MHz, Windows Media Player still skipped some frames when it was playing a 22-MB Video file.
I have 5.4.5 innstalled in my PDA2K, it is fine but still have problem with BT where I can not send file using blue tooth even with Resco expolorer. Also sometime I have to restart the PDA to be able to start the bluetooth.

yeah im running it. you use the wizard base rom and replace wavedev.dll and battdrvr.dll with ones from the prophet rom to get the sound and battery working. install arcsoft to restore mms. no camera support though. looking into it.
one of the big errors though is that coming out of sleep soft resets it, so doesnt make it very practical!!
edit: apparently the battery needs to get used to wm6 and the soft reseting stops after a few days, mine now has

I'm looking forward to flash my Charmer (MDAcII) to WM6, but I won't try to mess up my phone with some beta rom.
BTW: Any ideas if WLAN will work under WM6? According to 'some' posts here in the forum, WM5 + WLAN on Charmer = Not working properly. :-/

everythings beta, there will never be a official wm6 final as htc will only develop wm6 for new models. as for the wlan stuff, wm5 wasnt the problem it was the drivers written for it by the wifi card maker.
imo wm6 isnt worth it, its not finished, big problem with standby, the camera doesnt work, mms isnt included as standard. it just looks pretty, and that can be done on a wm5 device anyway.

Doesnt Windows Live work dor you on the MB Edition?

Yeah it works on the MB edition, I was just wondering if it worked on this PDAMobiz rom also before I play with it, but alas I don't have patience and its installing now haha

I have the same or similar issue. I took the WM6 v2, I got an Unexpected End of Archive Message opening it and CRC errors extracting thereafter.
